Last weekend I was able to attend MLG Anaheim with my team Infinity Seven. Here are some of the photos I took~ :D

Flo
Teammate iSEdge. Made it to round 7 in the open losers' bracket knocking out Destiny 2-0 and FnaticFenix 2-0.
We had a bit of an upset when he lost to xSixVer in the Upper bracket. In game 3 his computer restarted due to some windows update, and in a late game TvT where he was up by 60 food and 2-3 more bases he had to regame because according to MLG rules the player that's behind has the say of whether he wanted a rematch. Edge lost the 4th game, I don't want to give excuses about how the potential winner of a game being forced to rematch can affect him emotionally, negatively and even more so at 2am in the morning, and I can even say I do understand Ver wanting to try again since fate gave him the chance, but I can't help but feel that it was just so so so unfair, and sincerely hope that MLG will fix these computer problems in the future. Sorry for ranting.

I stayed around for quite a while photographing Sean's signing and he was so super nice to EVERYone who went up to him for autographs and photos. Like everyone. Mega respect.
She told me Day9's always missing sharpies so she's around in case he needs more of them

From left: iSdaisuki, iSEdge, iSNoctis, iSJinn (me) and iSSocrates (my co-manager). Owmygroin is missing from picture because he went home cuz he was too tired T_T
All in all it was a great experience and we all had a super lot of fun. I'd like to thank friends at TL and ESFI World for their help and MLG for making the event so amazing. Also to Justin.tv for the awesome after party without which I wouldn't have had the chance to meet up with so many people I kept missing while busy during MLG itself. I really hope I'd be able to make it to MLG Raleigh~!!
I'll do a writeup sometime later on, maybe when I'm on my 18hour flight back to Singapore this Wednesday. Will update if I do. :D
PS: Please feel free to share the photos with the rest of the community, but please don't crop my watermark away and do credit me if you use them in any articles. Thank you~ :3
Edit: ESFI World did an interview with Socrates and myself, we talked a little bit about our backgrounds like my air rifle history and our Warcraft 3 team.
It's slightly lengthy but feel free to check it out~ :D
I was with you for the last one! Haha. *EDIT* With you, shindigs, for last one
But mostly behind the iS players watching, tweeting results, checking LiquiPedia for upcoming matches, talking to players. And taking my own amateur photos, double checking to make sure flash wasn't on!
Great photos
FXOtgun attempted to take a photo of me but fails with focusing -_-
Captures that quizzical look that really typifies Jinn. Great catch, tgun!

And that picture of MMA man.... new wallpaper man :D
Haha thanks!! I use a 1ds MarkIII and a 70-200 2.8. Some shots were also taken with the 85mm 1.8. Not that much editing just tweaked some colours for white balancing/toning.

This should be spotlighted :3
Sometime, I'm going to have to find a way to make it down to an MLG from Canada, they just seem like so much fun.
I say GO FOR IT. The experience was SO awesome it's beyond words. I wish my photos translated half of how amazing it was.

Yeah, I might have to save up money for a while to pay for a hotel and plane tickets, but it seems like it would be a really awesome experience nonetheless. :p

I'm tempted to start a Flickr pool called "Dat Ass" in honor of the cameraman. I -- and several other photographers I talked to -- have a ton of pictures of the guy's butt as he consistently blocked every camera near the stage.
Extremely good pictures. Literally everyone in them looks super cool (especially day9, idra, machine and tyler of course). Also iS looks like a team full of cool people.
Simply amazing. Puts my silly pics with silly captions to shame (I won't be so crass as to link to them in your thread, but you can click through to my blog if you're curious).
I know a real photog could make magic out of any camera, so you coulda gotten some amazing shots with my basic point-and-shoot (Canon ELPH 300 HS), but I wish my camera actually did depth of field because that really makes the subject pop.
Amazing pictures, probably the best I've seen from an sc2 event (sure I haven't seen many, but these are damn good). Definitely captures a bit of the atmosphere there.
As a fellow (amateurish) photographer who has been following you on deviantart for a few years now, I gotta say I got very surprised when I noticed that - finally - someone was taking quality pictures of sc2 events, and it didn't take long to recognize it was you! Internet is such a small world I'm almost jealous you just found my dream job : taking pix of geeks playing starcraft! Hopefully I can manage and do that someday too ;d
The MMA pic is great (you should have forced him into a corner for a fast portrait session! That haircut is epic.). Love the Machine picture too, don't know why he always looks so intense when he plays.... Great work - as always - keep it on!

The pics are amazing. Especially the one of MMA pulling off the Rihanna haircut with a sharp look on his face. Excellent use of out of focus areas in the back and in the front to give it a nice splash of color. Centered composition is perfect in this one! MMA's face cuts great diagonals through the frame. I was blown away by SlayerS' and especially MMA's style and your photo truly does justice to it.
Wow, these pictures are amazing.. You should put them up on a freelance photographer site for money, for reals.. Bound to come more E-sports related articles in magazines, some of these pictures are just.. Well, perfect..
Was super impressed by some of the i7 players performances, hadn't heard much about Edge but he did awesome and having checked his tlpd seems like he's been doing well regularly.

Where are you in Canada? Columbus isn't that far from some places.

I live in Edmonton, Alberta, so Columbus is about 3200 km away driving according to google maps, and Anaheim's 2800ish km (Dallas: 3200 km too) . If I drove it would probably be a couple days there and back just driving, and I lack experience driving cross-country, so there's that too. So, I'd most likely end up having to fly in, unless I felt like turning it into some kind of summer road-trip, or spending more than just MLG weekend in that city or the area, just to make it more worth it.
If they held something in maybe Seattle, I might be able to drive more easily, or they should just add in a Canadian Pro Circuit, that goes through Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal. :p

Haha I don't know about 'magic out of any camera', sometimes there're definitely restrictions from equipment for certain things as you said with the depth of field... I'm grateful for what I have working enough for the event ^^

He looks a little more like Machine every event. First was the hair, then he started lifting weights, now the beard. He will probably be ginger by Raleigh.
