The fact that HuK is suddenly gonna play against Liquid is kinda the suck, but it's not like he's gonna flip off the Liquid team every time he gets the chance. Calm down.

The first time a major non-Korean player is switching from one big team to another 'big' team for big money. The very fact that this competition exists between major sponsored teams contesting to sign the top players is evidence of just how amazing the SC2 world will get. It just shows that the raw marketing value of a player is there. How do you expect non-Korean players to compete at a Korean level unless they can focus on SC2 alone? They can't unless they have financial comfort. Now that comfort is coming in. Also, I don't know the specifics but I'd be willing to bet over half of his salary will be going towards paying for his travel expenses to all the tournaments: Which means more HuK for you guys to watch. No one is to blame here. Not EG for having too much money, not TL for not having enough money (yet), and certainly not HuK. This is simply the way the world works. As far as HuK is concerned: HuK is the most dedicated non-Korean player I have ever seen...in SC1 or SC2. And while his view of the world and how it works is a little too romantic for my tastes, the man has dedication. And while it was annoying at the time how he consistently rejected my offers to take him out in Seoul, I have crazy respect for it now. He worked hard to get where he is and he deserves every dime he can possibly get. Not that anything I just wrote matters, because if you just read it either a. you already knew all this or b. you're a dumb fucken fan boy(girl). Good luck to HuK in the future. And more importantly good luck to EG because only having two talented players on your team isn't going to win you any super bowl rings. P.S. TLO is a pimp. It's a topsy-turvy world, and maybe the problems of two people don't amount to a hill of beans. But this is our hill. And these are our beans.

A lot of people here are emotionally invested in Team Liquid. Many follow it as their hometown sports team. You grow up with it. You become attached to the players. When they leave for money, it hurts. Ken Griffey Jr. left the Seattle Mariners for Cinncinati to play for his father and be closer to his family. The Seattle Mariner fans still love him to this day because he left the team not for money, but to be closer to his family. Fans appreciate players who show loyalty, love for their family, and passion for their games. After Huk's move to EG, TLO recently said that he's going to become better than Huk for Team Liquid. This is why people like TLO. He is loyal, passionate, and dedicated. Brotherhood and camaraderie should be an admired trait. Money comes and goes. The relationships that you make and nurture lasts for a lifetime. Huk said that Team Liquid was like a family. Well, he left his family.

Everytime I hear something about rekrul I think about that gif of lilsusie/tasteless and you goofing around at OSL I think :D But you're right. HuK going to EG for money is a big thing for e-sports and shows how much potential sc2 has right now and it could grow even higher.
