No, I am not moving to korea. But this guy is.
I'll probably never make a thread for a very new person again, but this guy seems sincere and even though I have no idea who he is I am sympathetic to his situation (and it certainly doesn't look like spam to me). I can't even guarantee he'll see this (PM'ing him), or that anyone will have any valuable information even if he does, but I don't mind taking a leap of faith for him.

Hi guys. The forum wont let me make a new thread due to spam protection. I desperately and quickly need some advice on a topic. I have to make a decision on this within the next 5 hours. So if someone will read my story and create a new thread for me that would be great.
Im 22 years old and I've been applying to teach in schools in Korea, and have a choice between two schools, one in Incheon and one in Busan.
Ive done alot of travelling and spent my last year in Vietnam. I enjoy life abroad which is part of the reason for wanting to go and teach in Korea.
However I have to say Gaming is one of the big reasons for choosing Korea as my next destination. (man thats sad to say on paper!) But hey Ive done extensively the slums of Africa, the dirt of Vietnam and now its time for the modern style of Korea.
I am wondering if this fantasy gaming scene really exists in Korea and if its only in Seoul. Busan sounds like a nice beach city with a tighter expat community and better weather conditions.
However Incheon is near seoul where I believe all the gaming bars/attractions take place and I suppose the nightlife might be better.
If anyone can offer any advice that would be great. I am in a coin flipping situation here with no idea which school to choose.
I am an active outdoors person and do enjoy trekking/ sports. But at the same time I have always played PC games and followed gaming scenes very closely. Whilst my skills at SC2 are fairly shoddy I am a huge fan of watching the game.
I read this quote on another forum about saving money in korea and I think it sums me up nicely!
"so pretty much if you're an alcoholic pc gamer (soju at a pc bang everyday) your savings potential is way better here than anywhere else in the world for the standards of comfort you'd be living in."
Any advice guys. Thanks
