Telstra are the guys with the monopoly and we are stuck with copper wire until the NBN (network upgrade to fiber optics). by which stage (it will take 30 years to roll out and about 50billion, don't quote me on the dollars) 100mbps will be terrible and useless. So yeah. Its one of the reasons its been so hard for e-sports in australia to take off. for me at least there is no point in buying a pass to something like MLG or dreamhack (probably GOM though) because my internet is so bad. i mean, i would, if i had the internet to support it. Edit: i need to get around to getting a lesson off you pig, i am so bad at the moment >.> why do you complain about your connection ? There in Italy I must pay 40 euros every month for a connection that gives me 350 kb\download and 24 kb\upload. Also the funny thing is that If I upload something my download will start falling. not to be said that I disconnect every 40-50 minutes, and I've got horrible lag. Enjoy what you got, you are very lucky. | ||
