I've been working a few old spells and made new ones as well. Some level 3 spells this time but my imagination is so bad lol. I can do whatever I want (or try to) but I can't come up with anything.
Alright onto the new stuff. The by far coolest feature I've managed to implement this time was probably a slowing field. It's basically a big sphere and every projectile inside it moves at only 10% of it's initial speed. I like this concept as it also adds more variety to the game and I might reuse it for some kind of black hole projectile or something, could be interesting.
Other new stuff I made was a simple heal spell and a barrier protecting the player from projectiles for an amount of damage or until it runs out. Defensive spells will probably be needed if the offensive spells are as strong as I want them to be. I added the level 3 version of the fireball spell as well which turned out pretty awesome if you ask me. Basically it's 2 spirals of fireballs rotating in different directions and moving at different speeds. It would probably look better if there was so much smoke though, and you could see the movement more clearly.
There is also an armor spell causing small orbs to orbit the the player in random directions. These orbs will damage anything they come in contact with so it's kind of like the barrier spell but it's offensive instead of aggressive.
A few old spells were changed slightly as well, mostly the meteor which now summon several of them, almost standing still in the sky before they crash down in an area. I thought this was better in general because the previous single meteor didn't pose too much of a threat I think. These will be harder to dodge and most likely cause some kind of damage instead of causing either none or a lot. The blade spell now also only spin horizontally, it looks cooler if you ask me.
That's it for now, here's the pictures (Sorry abour the low quality this time, they're taken straight from the editor):
