i don't think the commonly used verb "fighting" when describing dealing with depression is much accurate; you just kinda get wrecked and have to deal with it. it's difficult, but i think it's really important to try to come up with hope for the future. i feel so empty when i have nothing to look forward to, but possess an almost delusional joy at being alive when i do. maybe we'll hang out finally at an event sometime soon sorry about your grandpa. time has endless cruelties to visit upon every creature that has ever existed. i hope it's some measure of solace that he really cared about you when his faculties were still intact. i'm quite fearful of when my relatives get old too. eat delicious things and try your best to love yourself. it's hard to convince someone else love you if you can't do it yourself, right? talk to you soon

One tiny little thing though. Have you considered anti-depressants? Obviously they are only a bandaid solution, but feeling shitty all the time does not help anyone. Also, you are one sexy motherfucker.

1) smile, even if you have to fucking force yourself (the mind affects the body, and the body also affects the mind) 2) if you feel like complete shit, or hopeless take a minute, slow down and just BREATHE. Root yourself to reality, you are alive, and breathing. You have POTENTIAL. 3) Take each moment for what it is and nothing more Hope this helps, as it did for me.

I know how much Alzheimer's sucks. Not only as a doctor, but as a member of a family of someone who had it. My grandpa also had Alzheimer's disease, and the last 2 years of his life, he didn't recognize me anymore. It was sad, he thought I was my dad... I know that bitter feeling, and I just want to send you a big hug from across this screen, man. You look like a super cool dude, and I hope things look up this year. 10/5 if I could.

Who in his blog did disclose, That there was an emptiness inside of his heart. 'Why?', he asked, 'do I feel this way?' But he could not precisely say, For his troubles were spread out and apart. He pondered and thought, Trying to figure out what he sought, His feelings growing oh ever so complicated. Yet he could not see, That in this very community, The answers could be found plain and stated. His perceived lack of worth is refuted, When you see our love for him undisputed. Something must have gone right here, why is he so admired? Only the greatest of humans can earn such respect, And despite its nature, it still translates into life direct. Don't worry boes, you are still incredibly desired!

On a more serious note, debilitating shit like that isn't something that should make people forget about what they've already given to you and done in their lives, enjoy that instead on focusing on what has gone. Make them proud of what you can match in terms of doing in your life.

Nice fashion and women stuff as well, not my tastes but same as before, appreciate the effort. You are a good looking guy. Perhaps your troubles in finding a gf are central to your depression or perhaps it's more that you are introverted and seem to be constantly fighting against it? Maybe you have distorted views of what being 'alpha' or 'beta' mean. Maybe you are the sort of person who craves attention and compliments but you are crippled by an inability to express yourself in public. You definitely seem to have the sort of depression which can be sorted out by a change in behaviour and thought process. Check out FFgenerations' blog on smizing. Maybe you should get into just smiling at people. Also with women, if you are already getting them into bed then I'm pretty shocked you're finding it hard to make relationships unless you are just shagging drunk girls. But my general plan is that you need to increase numbers of attempts to ask girls out and grow a sense of 'impatience', to protect yourself you need to cut the bullshit and get to ascertaining whether they are interested or not, cos friendzoning and any of that crap is usually a disease that comes from being too patient and being afraid to be rejected...and the only cure is taking the plunge. Part of me also wonders if you enjoy being down and you enjoy people offering sympathy, and that you have all the tools to get out of depression but you like it down there. Who knows. Maybe this is one of those problems that requires deep analysis or is in fact very simple. Good luck, whatever it is, seeing as you are a cool guy. Also, maybe you should go to the gym. I always find that the gym makes me generally 'happier', and makes me love myself for my hard work. Computer games make me feel generally pissed off at myself haha. But I have never hated myself...I guess I just constantly think about how I am a unique little snowflake, perhaps you should meditate on your uniqueness too...you have to be one of the most fashionable nerds on TL who ALSO takes shit loads of effort to bring new music to people.

You're awesome man but advice is, only treat your relationships in life seriously, everything else just melts away. Family members passing is the hardest thing in life, hands down... but it happens. What will really fuck with you is when you have children and think, damn, it's happening to them! Here, here's my suicide song (obv didn't work, was years ago, but still special song), best to close your eyes: Lemme know if you can dig it, sliding down the hole at the center of your soul

I addressed it in an earlier blog, and I think it's something that comes with time and self-reflection. That's a really lame answer but it's pretty much all I have on that. I can understand where you're coming from with the recording on the Dads album, but most of the genre like that isn't necessarily about the quality of the recording but the emotions that are portrayed via the song/lyrics. Thanks for the advice, it's really appreciated. Like fuck you're egocentric, you're just confusing having high self-reflexivity with being self-centered. People with high self-reflexivity are generally smarter and more creative but pay the price by having more manic-depressive and unipolar depressive traits. #boeslife tho On January 08 2013 13:17 boesthius wrote: gym tan laundry delete facebook hit the gym lawyer up but yes hit the gym. gym tan

In what way did antidepressants make you worse? There's a lot of different antidepressants, they all have different side effects, and you can never know if that one antidepressant is right for a patient or not, if it doesn't work then you try a different one, if it still doesnt work you try augmentation with lithium, etc etc. I dont know your history with treatment but I'd say there's almost definitely no reason at all to think that you are somehow resistant to pharmacological treatment. Keep in mind that for antidepressants to work, it takes 2-4 weeks. For example if you are depressed, then take pills and as a result are still as depressed but are also nauseous and start vomiting its natural to think that the drugs are making you worse, but that nausea generally goes away after a few days, and after a few weeks they drugs help with your depression (Or they dont, in which case a different drug should be tried). All of this being said, if you feel like you're taking care well enough of your emotions without needing additional help, that's fine entirely. If you're depressed but feel like additional help isn't gonna do anything for you anyways, then you should reconsider feel free to PM me if you have any question, I'm surrounded by psychiatrists a lot nowadays and its not gonna be allll that long till I'll be one
