Finally figuring out things to do, I went back to single player games and then found myself staying up till 4 am playing mortal kombat on my PS3, unable to just youtube the fights to check and see how to beat something. Just grinding round after round figuring out the best strats for the fight. And I have to say it made the game kind of more enjoyable. Sure I wouldn't of had to youtube except for a small hand full of levels just the thought of so many close fights and adrenaline pumping through my veins using a strategy for a few rounds only to stumble on something far more effecient(like spamming fireballs as luo kang against shaokhan >.>)
I also enjoyed some time with my daughter and instead of just watching a movie or playing stupid my little pony android apps, we played with our new cats that we're sitting and drew pictures. We also ran around outside a little bit and finally cleaned her room up.
So I can see maybe I need to lessen my revolution of using the internet as much as I can to occasionally enjoy the sheer madness of grinding things out myself to keep me sharp. Because although I can google the answer to most anything in 15 seconds sometimes the best joys are found in slowing down a little. In the words of Ferris Beuller, "Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
That said...MY GOD DOES IT FEEL GOOD TO FINALLY BE BACK ONLINE! And I know i feel selfish about that because some people can't afford internet let alone internet as good as mine(even though its crap compared to asian countries) I just feel good being able to catch all the pro league I missed and play a game against something other then a computer, they are decent opponents except when I realize I can basically do something unconventional to their programming and abuse it for big responses.
Also my god this is a long blog....my apologies!
