If you could ban one person on TL no matter the status who would it be And why? Do you sometimes cry at night because you will never have a red hammer next to your Id?

Is there really a more generic "personal" question than that? Of course, if the answer was 1 or 20 inches (and you knew beforehand), then you would have been onto something ...

You die in a car accident. Before Satan lets you in (yes, you're going to hell), he asks you to name three things you loved the most in life, so that he can create a torture program suited for you. Once you pass the torture, you're allowed to go to heaven where those three things wait for you. You don't know about the heaven part though.
What are the things?

California or Florida? Vancouver or Toronto? Ferrari or Lamborghini? Aston Martin or Jaguar? Audi or BMW or Mercedes? If I'm correct, you listen mostly to classical music, so if you had to be locked in a room for 4 hours with constant music at 120dB, would rather chose to listen to drum solos, heavy dubstep or animal sounds arranged in a particularly annoying way (including heavy usage of mosquitos)? Tomorrow, you are somehow promoted to the head of TeamLiquid (not just TL.net, the actual TeamLiquid) instead of Nazgul (let's say it's a reward for being locked 4 hours in a room with noise). You can do anything you want with TL. What do you do? At what age did you discover that (x - y)² = (y - x)² ?

1. Denial and Isolation
The first reaction to learning of the overwhelming defeat of a cherished loved one such as TaeJa is to deny the reality of the situation. Initially I would reverse the situation. There was no way he could even drop a map! It is a normal reaction to rationalize overwhelming emotions. It is a defense mechanism that buffers the immediate shock and prevents me from quitting Starcraft. I block out the actual games and hide from the facts. This is a temporary response that carries us through the first wave of pain.
2. Anger
As the masking effects of denial and isolation begin to wear, reality and its pain re-emerge. I am not ready for TaeJa to retire; the intense emotion is deflected from my vulnerable cybernetics core, redirected and expressed instead as anger. Feedback is a danger in this stage. The anger may be aimed at inanimate objects such as pylons, complete strangers, mutalisks, friends or family. Anger may be directed at our dying or deceased loved TaeJa for giving up after Blizzcon. Rationally, I know that TaeJa is not to be blamed. Emotionally, however, I may resent the person for causing me pain or for leaving me. I feel guilty for being angry, and this makes me more angry.
Remember, grieving is a personal process that has no time limit, nor one “right” way to do it. The progamer who diagnosed the loss and was unable to cure the retirement might become a convenient target for battlecruiser rushes. Starcraft professionals deal with command center deaths and units dying every day. That does not make them immune to the suffering of their fans or to those who grieve for them.
I will not hesitate to ask my doctor to give me extra time or to explain just once more the details of your loved one’s retirement. I might arrange a special appointment or ask that he telephone me at the end of his day for build order advice. Additionally, asking for clear answers to any questions regarding upgrades and researches I might have will benefit my timing attacks greatly. I understand the options available to me, and will take my time.
3. Bargaining
The normal reaction to feelings of helplessness and vulnerability is often a need to regain control–
If only TaeJa had retired sooner or never lost motivation… If only I got a second opinion from professional player… If only I had tried to be a better fan toward them… Secretly, I may have tried to make a deal with Flash or another higher power such as Mvp in an attempt to postpone the inevitable. This is a weaker line of defense to protect me from the painful reality.
4. Depression
Two types of depression are associated with Starcraft mourning. The first one is a reaction to practical implications relating to the loss. Sadness and regret predominate this type of depression, amplified by stuchiu talking about evil all the time. I worry about TaeJa's tax costs on prize money. I worry that, in my grief, I have spent less time with others that depend on my battle reports and LRs. This phase may be eased by simple clarification and reassurance. I might need a bit of helpful cooperation and a few kind words about TaeJa's career. The second type of depression is more subtle and, in a sense, perhaps more private, like progamers practicing. It is my quiet preparation to separate and to bid my loved one farewell. Sometimes all I really need is a zergling hug.
Reaching this stage of Starcraft mourning is a gift not afforded to everyone. Loss of passion may be sudden and unexpected or I may never see beyond my anger or denial of ESPORTS. It is not necessarily a mark of bravery to resist the inevitable and to deny myself the opportunity to make my peace with imbalanced races such as Zerg, which has all that fucking creep spread and mutalisks. This phase is marked by withdrawal and calm, in addition to leaving the game TaeJa-GG style. This is not a period of happiness and must be distinguished from depression.
Loved progamers that are close to retirement or otherwise aging appear to go through a final tournament on their way to the military. This is by no means a suggestion that they are aware of their own impending retirement or such, only that physical decline may be sufficient to produce a similar response. Their behavior implies that it is natural to reach a stage at which Starcraft interaction is limited. The dignity and grace shown by our soon-gone loved players may well be their last gift to us.
Coping with loss is a ultimately a deeply personal and singular experience — nobody can help me go through it more easily or understand all the emotions that I'm going through. But others can be there for me and help comfort me through this difficult process. The best thing I can do is to allow myself to feel the TaeJa vs Scarlett grief as it comes over me. Resisting it only will prolong the natural process of healing.

I would ban Vetharest (one of my brothers) in the hopes that he gets an email as a result and we can laugh about it. Everyone else on TL is either someone I want to stay away from or someone I'd rather not ban.
On a side note, banning staff would lead to complications and headaches so I would also avoid that.
Do you sometimes cry at night because you will never have a red hammer next to your Id?
No.

Curious, I downloaded and opened it and quickly discovered it was a forum dedicated to Starcraft, and I lurked for a while reading the entirety of this thread multiple times before looking on the other forums a bit. I couldn't access the SC2 maps section for some reason, so I got excited when I typed in teamliquid.net on safari and saw it on the sidebar. So, I signed up, mostly to post my attempts at maps.
Who's your favourite writer on TL, past or present? Can I go with future? If not, I'm going to go with myself in order to not offend anyone. Serious answer is probably stuchiu.

This goes for anyone that thinks you are dead, as well. I'll contain this to the writers since I don't know if anyone else would care to murder you. Lichter and stuchiu probably also would have said you were already dead. I'm also going to add Brindled to my suspect list since I don't quite know what's going on with him... he's supposedly gone for now but pops up at random.
I'd trust thecrazymunchkin because he is wide-eyed and innocent-looking, in addition to peanuts since he is supposedly also dead. I'm leaning towards Soularion and shtanjel for similar reasons to munchkin even though the latter is technically a trial.

What are the things? I love high-quality and exciting music, interesting mathematical equations, and Starcraft, in that order. Why am I going to hell? ;;

You can do anything you want with TL. What do you do? I would panic and start trying to figure out what on Earth I'm supposed to do. It's likely that I might not actually do anything cool because I am totally not fit to run TL.
At what age did you discover that (x - y)² = (y - x)² ?
I was probably five or six years old but I thought about it with some numbers, not variables, as I didn't understand that back then.

bonus: reply without actually saying "terran", "protoss", "zerg", or "random" I like battlecruiser rushing, so often I will queue on ladder with that intent. However, my macro excels when I gain access to instant unit production technology anywhere across the map, and quicker production cycles, so I have often aimed for those with access to such scientific knowledge. Other times, I leave it up to chance.

I am impressed. You will probably get my vote for next round unless you go against Aeromi, D4E or DLO.
