Content creators are in a spot of trouble from the start. Not because of you, but because the majority of us (maybe not stuchiu or wax, but they are superior human beings) want our hard work to be validated through support and praise from our readers/viewers (I’d look really stupid if this only applies to me TT) . This is an entirely human thing and I admit that am guilty of it.
And yet, for all the people who said mean things, there are so many more who have been incredibly supportive. I want you to know I hear you and your words matter. I remember the guy who said he made an account on the site after I wrote Fourth because “this is possibly the greatest article I have ever read in my entire life”. I remember how a ton of people said Eo Yun Soo was the best article they had read on teamliquid in years. I remember all the people who were glad I wrote PROTOSSED and addressed the irrational hate the race and those who play it recieve head on. There are so many kind words like that I couldn’t list them all if I tried. What I’m getting at, is I want the community to know that, while I write for myself, the support offered by readers means a lot to me, especially when I take risks to write articles that I know will piss some people off. I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for me since I starting writing. I’m sure other content creators feel the same way about those who cheer us on.
