This frustrates me because in TL.net it's like a communism.
If you're new you're poor. If you're a veteran you're rich (metaphorically of course) and virtually untouchable.
And if you're mainfesto you're a demi-god.

He's already notified people that they aren't allowed to be Dino fans... that's a pretty good warning, and one that he wasn't even required to give. Do you even know who Dino is, and what he does

Personally I'm all for it. Anyone that dumb is only going to make this site worse with their posts. Think of it as a university. You don't want idiots in your university classes because they make the experience worse for everyone (e.g. making noise, asking REALLY dumb questions, etc.).

Let My people go! Oppressed so hard they could not stand, Let My people go! Go down, Moses, Way down in Egypt’s land; Tell old Pharaoh To let My people go! No more shall they in bondage toil, Let My people go! Let them come out with Egypt’s spoil, Let My people go! Oh, let us all from bondage flee, Let My people go! Supporting Dino is like saying you support Islamic extremists and suicide bombers. I don't see how it could possibly generate any meaningful discussion, so thus you're going to get banned. America is a democracy, but terrorists still get thrown into jail, so your analogy sucks balls.

It is the moderators' jobs to do that. A person who is stubborn in voicing an opinion that is widely seen as stupid or inflammatory will get punished. If I were to go down the street yelling "KILL THE JEWS, THEY ARE THE DOWNFALL OF THIS COUNTRY!" it is just me voicing my opinion, right? Who can judge me for it? Unfortunately it is a stupid opinion, and is punishable. However, this is not even a general case. It is very clear that hackers deserve to be banned. I think you agree with me on this. If hackers are banned, but people are still supporting hackers, aren't they damaging the community as much as the hackers are? Just because they didn't install and run the program themselves, they still support the same idea that cheating is okay, and possibly that hackers shouldn't be punished for what they've done. Voicing this pro-hacker opinion on an anti-hacker gaming website and starting arguments over it is just as stupid as walking down the street in America spewing hateful slurs that undermine the nation's principles of equality.

It's the fact that most of the moderators of this forum should probably put a little more into what should be a ban and what shouldn't. Members who have super high post counts should not have diplomatic immunity. Sure they will always get more lee-way than a person who has less than 1000 posts but should also factor in time as well. Of course freedom of speech has it's limits and the moderators are here to keep that in line and we don't want a super polluted forum. If a person is damaging the community and actually fully supporting it sure fine by me. If they are just voicing a opinion that goes against the majority, that should never ever be a ban unless it is just plain stupid. Dino won't be someone accepted into the community very quickly, but he shows he can still compete well with some of the higher end USA gamers without the use of hacks. I don't support the way Dino competes or people who worship him, but I am still able to see that people change. There are two good example of this in Testie and Trek, sure I wasn't around when they hacked but I know about most of the situation. Maybe Dino's willing to change, maybe not. Just power-trips need to stop.

wiki: Islamic Extremism is a term used to describe the actions and beliefs of violent Islamic activists, though many mainstream Muslims would say they are not Islamic at all. Another term for this may be "jihadist". Its definition is debated, but it is distinct from Islamic fundamentalism and Islamism in that neither of those necessarily denote or condone violence. If you support that and live in the US, then yes you can probably get thrown into jail

It's not some freedom of speech thing where we're banning people simply because we disagree with their opinions on politics or something. This site and its forums and its community is dedicated to honest, skilled, and competitive video gaming. It's a slap to all of our collective faces to have people talking positively about a hacker. You don't go to a police station and tout the achievements of a cop-killer. Also, it has nothing to do with veteranness or post count so I don't know why you even brought that up.

Of course if you disagree with USA then your a terrorist or against national security or something like that? I guess I should be glad I don't live in a country that freely kills innocent people on a daily basis. I actually hate this word of Islaamic Extremism. Who is to judge what is extreme? Yes I think Usaamah ibn Ladan is extreme and 9/11 was wrong and bombings in the UK tube. The people in Iraq fighting the USA soldiers is not terrorism in that rather the USA are doing terrorism and killing innocent people. War on Terror loooooooooool They went in for 'weapons of mass destruction' and they are the only one doing destruction. Of course those people doing "Jihad" in Iraq/Kashmir/Cheyncha are all 'extremists' in most people's eyes but you don't see their view that their land is being taken/people are being killed/ kids being killed and woman getting raped? You think USA helped Iraq lol? They just go around killing innocent people and then make a big news post every time 10 soldiers die but do not care when 100 Iraqis die and whoever they want to get they just say they have links with al-Qaeda. and btw another thing.. al-Wahabiyaah [i.e Wahabis] or the correct term Salafi's are not extremist Jihaadi and people that go around doing 9/11 and stuipid stuff like that [killing innocent people]. I am sure that they have a policy they keep out of the publics eye. totally agree. someone also questioning the same thing i am

if you spent half the energy you put into this thread on something else you could've fed ten starving kids in africa. it's an internet forum. sorry if it offends your horribly skewed value judgements. also, This frustrates me because in TL.net it's like a communism. made me vomit in sheer disbelief

I want an explanation.!!! This frustrates me because in TL.net it's like a communism. If you're new you're poor. If you're a veteran you're rich (metaphorically of course) and virtually untouchable. And if you're mainfesto you're a demi-god. TL.net, it's like a communism.

IF YOU POST BAD, WE WILL BAN YOU. IF YOU HAVE A HIGH POSTCOUNT, YOU HAVE NOT POSTED BAD we don't fucking look at someone's postcount before we make a moderation decision, that's absurd

Another term for this may be "jihadist". Its definition is debated, but it is distinct from Islamic fundamentalism and Islamism in that neither of those necessarily denote or condone violence. If you support that and live in the US, then yes you can probably get thrown into jail and USA is not doing terrorism in Iraq amongst other places? I am not trolling btw. Also, I should've made this a blog but I'm kinda lazy. This guy speaks the absolute truth.

Most people are not fit to govern anyway, they only reason you give them a say is so that they will shut up. If we had some kind of democratic mod system, then tl.net would be a shitpile of our summed stupidity.

Read the Ten Commandments. Notice how--unlike in some real-world pussy democracies--you are not allowed to use foreign languages, you are not allowed to spam, you don't get to fully show your advocacy for software piracy (even if you're from Sweden), and you are generally not allowed to flame others. Don't try to change TL.net: it is how it is. If you don't like it, you can just leave (much better than how actual democracies work).
