Hello everyone!
Junnie is back! Well, after a terrible rain which has just stopped in Hanoi, I could use Internet once again. Do you know it had been raining here for 4 days without any second to stop? Then, my well loved city, the heart of Vietnam, Hanoi became a huge lake.
I don't have to go to school due to the heavy rain....wohoo. So during my stay at home, there are some pictures I wanna share with you about our rain. Behold, the most terrible rain in Hanoi's history
(note: You'd better have some pills by your side in order to prevent the sudden heart attack...hehe...j/k)
Show me how to swim. please! heheh But hey, don't worry. There are some ways for us to go out if you really want to. Check this out (and try to remember, too...hehe)
Someday, we will see him at the circus as a professional clown. Look! He's practicing...heheh
New kind of boat? Never thought of it xD
And I called it "excellent idea"
Woops, there are many ways for us to get out of our house
Be sure that you're rich if you want this 2 guys serve you by their whole hearts
"Hey hey, wait for me, please" "sorry, we ran out of space" xD
"I don't need anybody to help me. I can go myself. muahahaha"
Poor this 2 ladies if they don't know how to swim. Somebody helps them
"Fine, Everybody has gone. I'll stay"
Even they were living with flood, they still smiled ^^!
Waiting for someone?
Best way to get out of here!
With some empty bottles made from plastic, you can make a mini boat for yourself xD

look at that diluvian mare

I'm surprised cars can still drive through that.
That looks so fun and annoying at the same time.
Is your house flood damaged? That would suck.

wow crazy rain, good thing that at least u and many people in the pictures seem to take it with humor
|
That's pretty bad lol. I love how most people are just going about their business with water up to their waist, it's like meh whatever we'll do the same stuff just be wet while we do it xD
|
yeah and do you know the first day of the rain, when i was at class, my classroom became a mini fish tank
it was so much fun hahahah
|
Doesnt look like the people take it that bad. Does this happen regularly in vietnam?

Why do ppl have an umbrella open if they are standing in the water (like up to their waist)?
|
ahahaha epic, everyone seems to be enjoying themselves ^^
|
Doesn't the underground sewage system mix with that water, contaminating it and essentially making it one giant cesspool?

Haha, some of the solutions are pretty awesome. Must be shitty if you have a ground level house or apartment though...
|
Haha, did you take those pictures? That sucks for them though
|
@ -slo.m1ke: lol . I don't know. You should ask them instead of me ;D
@ VyzhiS: hehe, it's not only annoying but also fun ^^!
@ ahole-surprise: maybe yes...xD
@ keit: yeah. and as i know, somewhere in hanoi, the water level reached nearly their second floor

was it the same situation in Laos not very long time ago? it was flooded everywhere as i remember water was of the highest level for decades
I believe in the last pic, the man behind is doing some kind of fishing. Tons of fishes out there ^^.

@ kara: hehe
@ guilford: lol. how do you know it? yeah. that's true..heheh, crazy xD
@ economist_: I remember the moment when a guy carried a huge number oF fishes across my neighborhood. Unfortunately, he fell down on the ground because the ground was sooo slippy. As we expected, the fishes rushed into the water outside and the guy...hmm....he was standing there crying. I guessed he must have lost a big amount of money. While everyone in neighborhood tried to catch his fish, i had some special feelings inside ^^! The man was standing there crying....it was an unforgettable moment for me ^^!
