Thanks I'm not a fan of seaweed or (cold) kimchi, but I like the Pork BBQ, cutlets (kodonburo cheese chicken cutlet is so good!) Korean style curry and also a lot of the items you can buy at street stalls like Ddekbokki (rice cakes in spicy sauce I think), soondae (intestines XD) and the flat pancakes with sweet bean filling. Some of the restaurants are really nice as well - there's an excellent range of food from Italian to traditional Korean in Seoul so we try somewhere new often.
My friend and I went to a waffle house yesterday for a massive warm and fluffy waffle (they serve them a lot during Winter here.) with caramel glazed apple slices, soft whipped cream, cinnamon and caramel sauce - so yummy.

I love how asians try to translate or write some awkward phrases on their clothing. Something under the lines like "taking a dump, heaven" then wearing it without knowing what it means.

lol ddukbboki is amazing. it's somewhat spicy but it's really awesome, seriously. those food stalls kick ass.
it must taste amazing during the extremely cold winter there. =]

A new shop/stand just opened up down the road from me too - the ddukbboki are HUGE and so cheap - you get loads for 1.500won. It's really nice and their soondae is excellent too. They also do one of my other favourites pat bing soo in the Summer apparently.

Awesome photos, would've been nice with a bit more city photos, your outside shots especially on the car in the alley had such great lightning and colors.

Either I'm stoned or you are really talented, because these pictures are awesome.

False!
Thanks for these pics, egg. Good job on em!
Seems like Seoul is a cool place to be for christmas. I'd like to see pics from Tokio now, somehow. Don't ask me why.

Hey that's Dutch. Means 'minimal feast (meal)' (nope, doesn't make much sense) Where did you find this?

These are very cool pictures! I've always been a fan of random urban picture taking.

Some awesome photo's. Does your lens have image stabilisation? I get tremendous amounts of camera shake when I try and take photos 150mm+ (That aren't close-up), I don't have IS. And if I try and increase shutter speed to compensate, it comes out too dark. I fail at photography .

I think 70-200 EX has a widest aperture of F/2.8 so with proper metering it should be fine

Thanks - yeah he was just some old guy who then proceeded to follow me and my friend around the shopping centre we went into - weird, but amusing.

The first ones are sweet potato fries, the second I'm not sure about, the ones with chips/french fries stuck to them are usually batter with sausage inside and the other one is sausage with bacon or seaweed wrap - all very yummy.

A general rule to go by is to have your shutter speed > the lens length ie. if you have a 200mm lens use at least 1/200s shutter speed or faster so you don't get camera shake blurring the picture.
Nevergg, I really like the picture of the car in the alley, I love the lighting on it and how you only really see the headlights of the car. That food looks really good too

Those were hanging up inside Miglione shopping centre in Myeongdong - most of the photos are from that area along with City Hall.
@Rekrul - I just loved the name. That place looked dodgy as hell.
