It's probably because it's not just "pulling it out". Some people's are still under the gums and they need to cut you open to pull the teeth out. Mine were like that I think.

It might without insurance. I believe it's dependent on whether or not you need to have anesthetic or not. I got my wisdom teeth "buds" out (and 4-6 super supernumerary permanent teeth) when I was 8 =) Unfortunately one little runt tooth regrew, but it's not cramping my other teeth ^^

2/3 ananas juice add sour cream add ice blend your pina colada and have awesome fruity goodness. Perfect now that its summer. Also no more pain, altough there is a risk of sudden need for fatty food after your 10th pina colada or so, which kinda brings us back to the original problem. But by then your prolly can eat a raw steak and not feel the pain.

Why do it in 2 go's? I'm not trying to sound rude just curious. I was really surprised how short the surgery was (like 40 min?). Would definitely want to do it all in 1 sitting. My mom is making me an egg and cheese omlette right now and my dad going out to get some ground beef to put in some super mushy hamburger helper. Will let you all know if I get a dry socket for being a dumbass.

Mine was $400 a tooth + $399 for going under, so just about $2000 for my four teeth.

Pre-insurance it was about $350 per tooth, $200 for NOS.

I can see the benefit of having one side of your mouth more functional for talking/eating sooner, and I assumed it was usually done this way, until I talked to some of my friends about theirs and they ALL say they got them out in one go. I'm not sure why, but it was recommended by the dentist that I do one side at a time.

I agree that the majority of the items on that site are disgusting objects I wouldn't wish on anyone, however, there are also a few items, regardless of their gut busting, heart stopping power, that I would definitely try. >_>

Misery, if not for the constant milkshakes. I mean, every walking minute for 3 days. Milkshakes. ...actually it was still misery. I had dry socket and basically felt like shit for months.

I didn't blend the food though, just put it in my mouth, wait for it to soften/dissolve and swallow Any food seems to work fine (even hamburgers, just chop them up), just not any hard food.
