So I decided to grow out my hair for five to six months, and finally decided to get it trimmed today.
So here's the result:
This is my hair with slight wax - the lady who trimmed my hair wxaed it for a bonus. And it looks a lot better with wax imo. So here's my quest for hair wax XD
What are the good kinds? The lady recommended me: Arimino Spice Sisters Freeze Wax. Where can I get that product? I googled it online but it seems like I can only buy it online?
Also, are there any other good wax products? ^^.....
cant believe u posted this the day after i cut my hair, and decided to buy some wax for the first time in my life lol :D
This is the one i bought

Ill tell you how it goes later on, since i havent tried it that much yet
Since we're all asian here, I'm gonna have to recommend you to some gatsby shit. They're expensive as hell when imported into the states, and you get em at oriential stores.
^ yeah, gatsby is really good... i tried it when my hong kong friend brought some of it back and it holds really well and doesnt make your hair look slick or shiny
but it's hard to get a hold of... unless you buy online

They are 9$ on amazon.
And the one I posted is much better than Gatsby, also made in Japan (by Shiseido). I don't know where you can get Uno though
The best one you will ever need bro, is made by short sexy hair, its called "Frenzy bulk up", Sold in pretty much any hair salon, looking close to 20 bucks, and is the best damn thing to hit the scalp.
Gatsby is definitely the way to go. The kind you'd buy really depends on what style you want. Air Rise is a little more messy, and doesn't hold as well - I prefer Matte. btw, don't get any kind of wax that makes your hair excessively shiny because that just looks immature.
Gatsy for sure. Because of the length of your hair I recommend the Moving Rubber series, more specifically Loose Shuffle (Orange container), or Air Rise (Green container), both will give your hair good hold without it being stiff like what gel or strong waxes will do. Warning though, I use Spikey edge (because I have short hair) and it might just be me but I find it takes more than one wash to get it all out of my hair.
Again Gatsby. Moving rubber series. The purple is the best imo. But they grey and pink ones are good too. They usually sell for like 8~9$ on Ebay. Hahahaha.
Gatsby is damn expensive, $8-10+ (I just use some cheaper alternative like Giovanni which is 5-8 bucks). Have fun spending forever washing, blow drying and styling at the sametime, then having to apply the wax. Depends on the length of your hair though, yours is pretty short. What style are you trying to get anyway? Should ask the people at the salon which style suits you best.
the only one you can fully trust in here is hyde, since everyone else is just throwing out names, presumably without even considering your hair type or length (though i guess they could be, but arent mentioning it, you know what i mean though).
the arimino one you posted is good as fuck but that one has been really really hard for me to find and i live in fob central (its also one of the more expensive ones if you care)
gatsby also isn't considered expensive (but i guess it isnt cheap either), rather its known to be the most cost-effective. most asian stores will typically only carry gatsby (as far as it goes for males).
your hair style and texture don't NEED it, but fyi if you ever wanted to try diff styles etc invest in good hair spray as well.
This site is legit. I ordered a gastby hairspray and it came in a reasonable time.
You sure? I might order some from here. The site is really plain and fishy though, probably because its only been online for a few months.
I can tell you I ordered from them a month or so ago and the product arrived in about a week I believe. They're pretty new but it seems legit. They ship from HK afaik
Oh yeah, they know how to speak english too. I had to change my shipping address to my university home and they did it in 2 days. All in all, not terrible.
oh yea, btw, i had like medium short/medium hair when i used hair wax (gatsby mat), and it took me ~30 minutes to dry my hair + put on the wax. lol. But this might be because I naturally have wavy hair, so it probably made it harder. Your hair seems a lot straighter, so it'll probably be easier to do.

speaking of this, any recommendations for hair spray? actually, also let me know why you would use hair spray instead of hair wax, or in addition to hair wax :o. As I understood it (I'm probably wrong), you might use it instead of wax if you have longer hair, to keep your hair together, and make it look cleanly kept/not messy.
gatsby red one :D got2b freeze spray. it will be all you ever need for hairdoing. maybe a teasing comb, but thats about it. i REALLY reccomend the spray though
