You're right! We need another George Bush in office. I mean, look at what he did with the Georgian conflict

I'm glad you jump to such a conclusion as what the SCOTUS would rule. Why even have the SCOTUS when we have you. It's a pretty logical conclusion, based on the writings of John Jay to Washington and the other founders at the time as to what Natural-Born citizen actually means (Born from two citizens of the USA), but the SCOTUS has never clarified the actual meaning. That is why I posit the case that Obama is not a naturalized citizen and is therefore exempt from becoming the President.
Permit me to hint, whether it would be wise and seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government; and to declare expressly that the Commander in Chief of the American army shall not be given to nor devolve on, any but a natural born Citizen.
I think this pretty clearly extends a line of logic that a natural born citizen is one born to two naturalized citizens of the US. This is where we should be hammering our case to the SCOTUS. Not on where he was born....we have a much stronger case here on these grounds than in any other.

This comes down to founding father intent vs literalism, like the second amendment question (although the shoe's on the other foot this time) and other questions. The Supreme Court will not overturn the election of the President because of the "writings of John Jay and other founders." You can say that I'm unqualified to say this and maybe I am. But until someone brings a case to court arguing what you're pushing, it's simply stupid to talk about it.

Uh aren't you considered a natural born citizen if your born on US soil no matter who your parents were? Ive heard that illegal immigrant children born here are and that sometimes women will jump the border close to birth to get their children as US citizens. This is all BS anyway. I really love how he hasn't been in office a full year and people are already like "WHAT? PROBLEMS NOT FIXED YET?! HE SUCKS" Jesus people, how many times has he and pretty much everyone else said its going to take YEARS to fix this shit?

So I guess the thousands of Europeans who immigrated to the US in the 1700's didn't give birth to citizens?
Anchor babies get citizenship too last time I checked.

No. You are a naturalized citizen of the US, but not a natural born citizen. The 14th needs to get amended anyways to stop anchor babies.

A natural born citizen is not the same thing as a naturalized citizen.

You obviously have no understanding. Let me clarify in the simplest of terms.
A Naturalized Citizen is a citizen who was born in America, however their parents either one or both were not either Natural Born citizens or Naturalized Citizens. Also, in order for an immigrant to become a Naturalized Citizen of the US, they must pass a test on the history of America and our Constitution and residing continuosly in America for 5 years. Once they pass this test they become a Naturalized Citizen. For a more indepth read about naturalization read this: http://www.visaus.com/citizen.html
A Natural Born Citizen is a person born to either two Natural Born Citizens, or two Naturalized Citizens.
In Obama's case, his Father was NOT a Citizen either Naturalized or Natural Born of America. He was a British citizen. Therefore Obama is not a Natural Born citizen which is a REQUIREMENT to become the President of the US. The reason why people like Gov. Shwarzenaeggar who is a Naturalized Citizen cannot become the President is precisely because he is not a Natural Born citizen.
If you make no distinction between the two, then you nullify the Constitution and allow any immigrant who becomes a naturalized citizen to become President. If you don't know this causes significant and grave danger to the citizens of the US. If you have never heard of a Manchurian Candidate and the possibilities then I suggest a little reading up.

If a foreign spy manages to win an election I think the country has bigger issues at hand. I don't think a rule about natural born citizens is the biggest obstacle to planting an agent in the Oval Office. The whole election aspect probably poses a bigger hurdle.
