I wish i knew
A few days late, but Fantasy stated that he'll focus on SC2 for now, but may play BW in December of next year (nothing confirmed). He watched the BJ destruction match Bo. 4 and Flash vs. Effort ASL finals, but is otherwise not involved in BW.
December of next year? Fantasy pls, I can't wait that long T_T

It's because those are not original tile set ramps and had to be made manually in an advanced editor from pieces of other ramps, so the artwork doesn't match perfectly (and sometimes has other issues).

He said the thread is not worth the time and energy.
'tofucake' did not even start to talk about why it should be closed and reacted dramatically
Can someone please validate this and move back to the 'Brood War Strategy' topic

Loooool
Yep, that works =]
This was posted 19 hours ago. I read it instantly and logged on to play ladder. Needless to say, I play protoss. I scouted with scouts and I poked with them, it was too ez to force ggs and gaim mmr points. Ez guide, ez wins, ez life. Thanks for the life-changing guide, op. You are a beautiful human being and in 18 years of playing, I've never seen a better guide.
he closed your thread because it was useless and it hurt my brain to read. i think you're either a little kid, mentally slow or a troll, either way closing it was the right decision

maybe you don't know how to understand things, other people said it helped

Ah, so I see you've met Ninazerg.
I would recommend looking over the liquipedia for general strategies. StarCraft has come a long way from initial strategy discussions, and I think this would help you out a lot: Portal:Beginners
I'd recommend taking the discussion off of this thread however. The admins have made a decision and talking about it probably won't change their minds, if not make them ban you.

Fine, this is my last post about it then.
One of the professional things in life is to be open-minded, if you you're not, then you miss out on many good things in life.
If someone has a lack of insight, it means there is something wrong with them.
I'm trying to improve people, if there is something wrong with my guide, then prove it to me, its best to talk things out in life before attacking.
Ninazerg wrote: This is some excellent advice. I really appreciate how well thought-out this is, and will certainly help me a lot in future games. Thanks for making this amazing guide. I can see it took you a lot of work to put this together, and I appreciate it.

in fact i want lost temple on too, add like 15+ maps and increase the veto proportionately, allow a free market place of maps for the greatest amount of broodwar, why this artificial and rotating limit? let people play what they want, they will suffer the consequential wait time if their choice is unpopular, afterall

Custom game -> create game -> opponent voluntary joins -> start the game

You'll experience even longer delays queuing for unpopular maps because there will be more modern/standard maps that more people won't veto.

what am I missing?
The opportunity to beat new school playes for points on old maps that only old school players play on, I'm guessing lol.

a match maker? any form of identification outside of guessing as to whether the player is good, or honest?

And presumably some modern maps* will fall out of favour, and perhaps a few old maps will be played. I dont really mind whatever the configuration of popularity is, just that my choice is being denied.
*besides whats modern at this point? 2008 onwards? still tons of maps were not playing even from this era. Theres like 8 maps at any one point, forgive me for finding this rather unsatisfying as I was never a player to spam a single build on a single map, i utilized iccups map variation, and the ladder as is is simply pitifully barren.
