András Belicza (icza) is generously offering to update his Go-based replay parser if he knows the changes. Currently there's no parser available in Go, Js and other popular modern programming languages, and this would enable interesting use cases for BW-related open source software that does not rely on the Windows ecosystem. I'd sure like to play around with it.
András' parser simply converts a .rep into a json file with useful data about the header, actions and map details. It doesn't do anything fancy; what it does do though is enable anyone to build upon it, which is something Blizzard is lacking a little bit at the moment.
