MSL R32 Group A Spoiler, don't read if you don't know the result.
+ Show Spoiler +Jaedong vs Hwasin Winner's Match was the worst ZvT Jaedong played in his life. It was painful to the eyes
omg! I got a Ling in my icon! eeehew! WOOT!!!

Flash is easily the best player right now though and will beat Jaedong down in time.

Nice to see Mind solid at the #5 rank, the guy's great.

His ZvT seems slow to react to the changes we have seen lately in Terran FE->Mass rax play. I mean every game i've seen him play lately he can barely keep his 3rd expansion up, his muta harass does no damage.. I just dont know. He still controls his army like a motherfucker but it doesnt matter because he goes typical muta->lurker->defiler and it just doesnt work lately: /
|
Well despite his recent results vs Terran I belive he'll come back. You can see that he is easily one of the best players in terms of gamesense, micro/macro in the world. I think he will win the MSL, he just needs his confidence back. JD that is

Jaedong got cheesed multiple times, even by his teammate Backho. That kind of skews the perspective =) I think he's still a great ZvT player, just not a great 'anticheeser' like Savior once was.

Hwasin will rise to the top!! I can feel it!
Hwasinsurance....DENIED. Please stand by to be owned

JaeDong is good, Flash is also good, it's something like the BoxeR/Yellow or the Oov/July rivalry.
|
Kespa seems pretty accurate for once. I hope Jaedong and Flash split the starleague titles again so that there's some suspense. Flash dominating would just be too oppressive.

His recent game vs Hwasin was the first 3 hatch muta vs fe game in a while that he lost though. Checking TLPD, his recent losses have been to cheese (vs casy), failed 2 hatch muta (vs ruby), proxy rush (vs mind), failed cheese (vs flash), and to flash in GOM invitational (can't remember, once to metal again probably), sunken breaks (vs frozean and flash), and metal. But his poor performance vs Hwasin on Wuthering Heights by itself is enough to make me doubt how good his zvt is now, and if not that then certainly the latest game vs Hwasin in MSL.

I like the drop in points from Bisu to Mind xD. 4 top players leading the pack.

From those games, cheese would be: Casy's proxy Barracks in this OSL, Mind's proxy Barracks on Blue Storm in the previous MSL, and Jaedong's cheese attempt to sunken in Flash in the GSI.

Jaedong's form will return, and he'll defeat the new TvZ style! Gooo legend killer!
Interesting how Mind is slowly sneaking up the ranks (5th already). Or maybe he hasn't changed place and I haven't noticed.

look at that. #5 is wayyy below the rest. holy crap. and i thought 250 points between #1 and #2, (jaedong and flash) was a big gap.
and the last few games of jaedong i've seen, he lost all of them, seemed to be like a slight dip in in the short term, but i guess he's still way up there huh... does anyone know the formula for kespa ranking?
|
Total newbie to progaming scene here. Does KeSPA use the Elo system? That's what it looks like.

Out of curiosity... did something happen before/during his game with Hwasin? Watching the vod he just wasn't himself, and when they showed him on screen he looked PISSED. Even before he started blowing it.

I'm not sure if anything crazy happened off set, but I can guess at what his frustrations were. First of all, there were a lot of technical issues at the studio that delayed the start of the games by quite some time. Then, during the game Hwasin found Jaedong's expansion and attacked it seconds before his two Lurkers finished morphing. Jaedong had a few other Lurkers morphing ready to come in behind as well. I'm sure what was running through his head immediately after that was 'Wow. Another couple seconds and I'm way ahead in this game, but now I've lost those Lurkers and can't flank with my others, and I'm going to lose the expansion. GG.'
Of course, there was quite a big deal made later about his mouse. Apparently something might have been wrong with it, and that was causing some issues he was having vs Hwasin or something. I'm really unsure if anyone ever was able to get decent confirmation on that, though.

About Jaedong, I'm just wondering:
Who does he practice his ZvZ with? Does he even bother anymore? He's good in any matchup, but ZvZ is essentially instan-win for Jaedong.
32-9 (78.05%)
Freakin' ridiculous. Who has a 75%+ win ratio in a match-up with 40+ games? Did iloveoov even play that many games when he had those really high win ratios?

For what length does Kespa ranking counts? Is it like last 1 month?

feels good having a Zerg at the top again, although i still wish it was sAviOr :/

There WERE issues with his mouse, hence the delays to start the games. Did he have problems with it during his game vs Hwasin? I don't know. I suppose the BW related shows on Korean TV investigated the matter, but I haven't seen any post related to this on TL.net. That would explain why he lost 5 lurkers without even burrowing them, and why he was furious after the game. And why he waved his new mouse to the camera after crushing Bisu.
Back to topic : Lecaf has 2 players in the top 10. Nice job imo. Ho Yong Jong fighting!!!

Well if you check the tlpd, till oov lost to july on the osl he had an 77 wins - 20 losses (79.38%) record.
Talk about dominance! Vs terran: 32 wins - 15 losses (68.09%) Vs protoss: 18 wins - 5 losses (78.26%) Vs zerg: 27 wins - 0 loss (100.00%)
