There really, really aren't many of us. The regular staff for fomos' who works in the field is the largest esports staff and they only have 1-2 at regular matches (usually Mr.Kang/Mani plus one other or Mr.Shim writing reports.) Then Daily Esports has Sora-nim and sometimes Mr.Kim turns up. The press room is only ever packed for very special events or finals. I've worked in there alone for many events including regular Dungeon/Fighter league, FPS events and Kart Rider league.

Yea, he's magic. Once he left MBC, they started sucking too (I think at least, not 100% sure about this. Plexa can probably confirm, he would be aware of MBC sucking).

Most definately but it must have been a close call with EffOrt's overall dominance. Now if he could just pull off some consistency in the individual leagues next season. sKyhigh fighting!
Bisu and Jaedong were just sick this season, they deserve their prizes. I guess Flash's mini slump in round 4 and the fact KTF hasn't made the playoffs is what robbed him of a MVP award.
And Coach Park is just awesome, he made wonders with SKT1, took it from the last places to no1. This man is amazing.

Yes. Soon he will be the first coach to win two PL titles on different teams. That man is magic.
That's weird, logically it must be because Effort didn't qualify as a rookie in some way but I can't find any way in which he would be less of a rookie than Skyhigh in Proleague.
It's too bad that KT didn't make the playoffs or Flash would've been a lock for the MVP, especially if he took his match against STX.
im glad skyhigh won. he's just too good. any nominees for next season's rookie of the year? then we'll have a great laugh next year when we look back on these predictions.
I'm guessing that Effort playing in a Starleague before the 08-09 proleague year disqualified him for the rookie title. Bisu Jaedong well deserved MVPs.

my guess: mbc's ace
my guess is horang2, my second guess would be mbc's ameba
[he was known as ameba then for some reason ace in tlpd, then got switched back to ameba today! thank tlpd guys...whoever u are?]
Either split it between JD/Bisu/Flash if one ignores WL playoffs like they are ignoring the finals playoffs, or give it to JD, as his WL playoffs performance set himself above the other two, even though he did slightly worse in the season. Bisu getting it but not Flash is just stupid.
Then again when you have Skyhigh and H2 over Effort it's hard to argue for this being right, unless they are considering Effort not a rookie?
I remember when Skyhigh made the semifinals of GOM Season2, I cheered for him SO HARD, especially when the other three Bisu, Jangbi, and Free at era of the Dragons >_<
I'm thinking he got it over Effort because Effort made a Ro32 appearance in Incruit OSL, which might have been too long to be considered a rookie at that point.
Congrats to him. And also to Jaedong, Bisu, and Coach Park
If KTF would made it to final, I think Flash could be with those two as MVP. Really surprised for SkyHigh Rookie award, he did got a godlike reverse all-kill but if Effort is so powerful now.. But then, it's a PL award so I guess it's ok
guys, just because a player explodes at a certain time doesn't mean he's instantly a candidate for rookie of the year. effort isn't a rookie in this season of proleague, he's not eligible for the award

I hate to say it, but I don't feel like it was the coach so much as the players, which decided to start anti-sucking. I mean look at SKT1's lineup! They shouldn't have been #6 even without a coach.

Yeah It was the first match I saw when really getting into watching proSC. He was such a man there and now in playoffs too...

What is it that Park Yong-un does differently than other coaches? I realize each coach has their own style for motivation but this guy has the magic touch, how can a coach make that big of a difference?

No one here knows. For all we know, he's not the best coach. He's had the best results with his team, which could just as easily be because of the players, or because of the other coaches (oov, kingdom). Or, because the team was coincidentally slumping at the beginning of the year, making him look especially good?
It feels like it kinda takes a bit away from the prize when there's more than one winner. Bisu really shouldn't have gotten it since his team is so strong. He has canata, best, fantasy, etc. but Jaedong has no one =/

Well, then how do you feel about Flash and Jaedong sharing most kills?
JD chose the wrong time to peak during the PL this season, netting a 7-1 record that during a period that didn't count and they still lost the WL finals.

How's that relevant? As ACE shows, quantity of practice partners> quality. You need a depth of people to practice with in order to get the wildly varying degree of styles and timings. In that Jaedong does as adequately as Bisu or any other team, excluding ace. In terms of demanding schedule, regardless of depth of team, Bisu and Jaedong are equally plagued...

It's relevant because MVP stands for most valuable player. Bisu has a strong cast behind him, while Jaedong has been pulling Hwaseung OZ behind him pretty much singlehandedly. Jaedong has played 13 ace matches while Bisu has played only 6. Without Bisu, SKTT1 would still be a strong contender. Without Jaedong, Oz would be near the bottom of the rankings.

I don't understand the question.
They have the same number of wins, and shared the prize. Same thing.
