Good night and good luck in your exams.
rabble rabble i hope the results of the rest of the group don't some how force flash out of the Ro8 >_>
zzz..i can never stand watching these ones, i'll wait for the vods to come up then watch the whole sets =) I get heart attacks, when my favorite player loses the first game and i have to wait a week of horror (knowing hes down a game) to find out the result T_T
Very well executed by Action; however he was lucky that Bogus lost his tanks and mnm in such a fashion, had he been more careful his 3rd and 4th gas would've been in trouble.

Certainly not. I want a nice fast game so that i can watch those yummy zvzs :D
Do you get giddy counting larvae too. people who like zvz are an endangered species.
In fact I do, good larva usage is a thing of beauty, and good zvzer are pretty brilliant at that. Plus well microed zerglings and mutas give me a boner.
Fantasy delivered 100%. His only moment of weakness was slow reaction to vulture harass in the 3rd. Other than that typical stellar play from him. Those that don't see him as a strong contender for gold need to wake up yo!

?? Noone doubts he's a contender, he's a perennial finalist with an easy group and prepares for BoX's better than almost anyone. This is coming from an anti-fan
I thought that was a good time to push out by Rush also
He lost too many tanks in the process though and Fantasy capitalized on that pretty handily by seizing Rush's ridge, cutting off reinforcements to Rush's 3rd which left it open to being destroyed
Easy and comfortable Fantasy victory - wouldn't mind more tension but clean wins are also good
GG from Soulkey! Weird game, Soulkey looked fine when he held the first wave, then 1000 lings out of nowhere leave him with no drones while Shine teched up.
I don't like Shine, but that was brilliantly played. He was at a severe tech disadvantage, but hit the perfect timing for droning up, which then allowed him to produce Zerglings from 3 hatcheries in order to pressure Soulkey before his Mutas were out. The way he turned that around was just perfect.
Damn Soulkey made the wrong decision. He should have just kept going all lings and add 3rd hatch like Shine instead of teching up. He had a slight supply advantage before he decided to mine gas and tech.
Wow, Shine once again trolling us in the OSL. His ZvZ really is superb though. Very good decision-making despite somewhat of a disadvantage following the first failed attack.

SoO, the blue zerg in 5. ZerO, the orange zerg in 11.
Both express their inner artists by drawing funny pictures with their scouting ovies, because standard scouting is too passe. Both get ling scouts in bases!
Zero with the counter attack with mutas, dance dance over the main of SoO! ZerO makes lings and snipes drones, 13-21 in supply! Both players trying to stabilise.

Wouldn't a tiebreaker with two KT players hurt the team a lot? Considering they already have to play two games with BW/SC2 and then spend even more time on BW to practice plus actually find time to play the tiebreakers itself...

Wouldnt hurt them considering that could both adavance and most likely put on other sides of the bracket

You know, there's a possibility that Action would make it out of this group rather than Flash.
But effort did make it out of that into the Ro8 to eventually win over Flash in an epic 3-2 in the finals...
Has nothing to do with the unepic 3-way endless tiebreakers, which was what my post was about. It was just a cute little blast to the past. Be careful what you wish for, and all that.

Group C was epic =3
You keep using that word.
I do not think it means what you think it means.
No it's not a greek epic in songs and bards and poetry about myths, heroes, and adventures alluring to grand morality plays and fallacies. I don't think the now "traditional" use of it just being a long and drawn out eventful... thing does justice to the source material where the root word came from any way. Group C was great starcraft.

Um, my post was just a direct quote from the movie Princess Bride...

the most epic part of the endless tie-breakers was that guy that had the sign that said something along the lines of: "I was at home watching this, then I decided to walk here" hahahahah
This day of BW was weird, there's not many times when the ZvZ's are just as exciting (if not more-so) than the other match-ups lol
Shine going to win osl 2012 fitting end for us bw fans . Some people may not agree but I want to see some new faces clutching that osl trophy because this is probably their last chance . Screw the old favourites and bring in the new guns .

I want Soulkey to win it
Yeah I know that when i BADLY want something it doesn't fucking happen (although... wait, Russia won hockey last week :D )
but i still want it.
Or ZerO maybe, as he is more experienced.
Judging by player level now, Fantasy should pwn all, but Starleague format is such a big change to chances. Such troll players as ZerO, Soulkey, Jangbi (and Flash can be pretty much a troll too) can always change everything with crazy builds and good intuition.

So if you want soulkey to win it .... who will be his opponent ? Fantasy ?

i want it but because his grandma is always there watching him
seriously. I really really like action. His not the most consistent guy, but he has moments of extreme brilliance. His defiler play (when his in form) is quite possibly the best we've ever seen.
He had amazing muta control this game. The clutch vessel snipe probably won him the game.

Probably Soulkey vs. Fantasy finals would be pretty even and interesting to watch
Because Flash will still beat Soulkey to shit no matter what :D ( =/ )

If this happens, it's going to be the most amazing development ever. Here's to it!
