I think Bong was like "I'll make an a dark archon and shuttle it into his main. He'll look at it for 10 seconds wondering why I unloaded a dark archon in his main".
During those ten seconds bong will destroy sun's natural
I was so fucking hyped for once this Proleague (due to playoff spots making things recently making it tense), and then we got fucking Bong, Bbyong, Sacsri to come out.
This just goes to show that kespa didn't just hand pick the only good kespa sc2 players and put them in the wcs, you could easily replace all wcs kespa players with another random group and see similar results. They are all getting so good so fast.

Wouldn't go that far. Fantasy and Jangbi? Yes.
But Effort/Jaedong/Sun are the best KeSPA has to offer at this moment. You couldn't randomly pick players and have them get similar results.

Maybe not randomly, but I would feel just as confident with any other 'name' bw player taking their place.

It's so awesome to see my 2 favorite zergs (jaedong being my absolute favorite but I was always a fan of effort to) doing so well in sc2 :D.

Stale ? You are talking about the guy who own zergs in broodwar with a 71.51% winning records that isn't stale from a statistical point of view it actually says that he is dominating that matchup like he owns it .

He could do a better job of not losing to shitty Zerg all-ins in OSL prelims.

he has qualified for 0 bw starleagues in 2012
he would qualified if there is still a msl tourney
Those were sick flanks to kill off those Infestors. Trading Stalkers to kill off the Infestors was an interesting choice.
Bisu able to kill off EffOrt's 4th with this aggression. Looks like EffOrt was able to sneak in some Contaminates to delay Colossus production.
Bisu ahead in supply, but EffOrt banking up a ton of money to make the big Broodlord switch once his Greater Spire finishes. Both players get their 4ths up and running.
I saw Effort only had 254 minerals, but he had his drones with his army. I thought he was gonna spread 'em and put extractors everywhere... but... holy shit.
I think Effort doesn't know you can't build an extractor on a mined out gas, and therefor only build an extractor in bisu's third and none in his main or nat.
On August 18 2012 14:37 Clefairy wrote: Apparently Effort was building an extractor but cancelled it to build a hatchery lol
Ouch that sucks no wonder Leta was pissed hahaha
he had 251 minerals when he had 1 building. he thought he gonna build more extractors on the main or the natural, but you cant build extrator on depleted gas

Me to.
Also Team 8 still in first ^_^ hope they win tonight :D

Bisu's Response:
But coach, the fangirls, I couldn't let them go home disappointed [poker face]
dunno if someone mentioned it before but people should stop shitting on effort, you can't build extractors on depleted gasses, I doubt he knew about that.

PvP may be a horrible matchup but its super exciting to watch.
PvT I love, hate people who say its a "one battle engagement" when theres so much early poking + storm manuvering and so much positional battling. And top level PvT, when played by both players to the max, exemplifies how it doesn't come down to one battle. Usually when its one battle engagement its cause someone fucked up.
ZvP is probably the most "boring" p sc2 matchup, but that game(and the time when you posted it) was FRICKIN EPIC. So much drama/excitement. I was literally out of my couch screaming waving my arms when Bisu almost lost his army like 5 times.

Yeah, even I kinda blanked out on that one. Base races are high stress situations.
On a side note, that was, not exaggerating, the most broodlords I have ever seen in a single army. When I watch most IPL for example, in ZvP, casters are impressed/concerned when there are even 8 brood lords on the field. I think Effort had at least 24!
Man Effort was an absolute beast in ZvP in BW . It's sad to see him struggle so bad against protoss . The thing is ZvP lategame design doesn't suit his style . Zergs are forced to use a ton of static defence and broodlords which are fucking immobile . Ultras aren't good unless you have an overwhelming eco advantage . He should try Muta/Ling middle game i think will suit him better .

Bisu also used to be pretty good at PvZ in BW, however only in SC2 a game like this could happen
Game 1 : Both players on 2 bases, but Snow secure an advantage by attacking Best. Game 2 : Rain goes dt expand, Bong respond with fast 3rd but gets dt'ed and storm dropped. Game 3 : Rock paper scissors (9 pool vs 14cc)
Game 4 : Fantasy wins with good harrass that kills a bunch of colossii, leaving hero[join] with a bad unit composition and die to ghost. Game 5 : Skyhigh pushes with Thor and scvs to repair and banshees, dealing a ton of damage. Game 6 : Just watch it.

Awww, games four and five actually sound interesting. Pity that I missed them.
i'm so happy to see bisu won :D 2nd win in sc2... woot!!!
and boxer is so happy too, that was priceless... well actually, leta pissed off at effort was more priceless, the look on cj's faces and esp. effort's are the most priceless hehehe
go skt!!! finally, you're climbing the ladder! THIS IS SKT!

leta was so mad. he was fuming. it was so funny but at the same time i felt so bad laughing. poor effort
Finally Bisu is showing rapid improvement with the rest of his peers. Bisu two weeks ago would have been embarrassed by Effort. A week ago(bisu's first win) bisu showing solid improvement and says in his interview he is finally getting better, he probably would have put up a decent fight vs Effort but ultimately get rolled over. This week he had Effort dead to rights and only allowed effort to come back from some late game timing issues.

Thats also why ONLY 2 of the kespa players in WCS made it through the preliminaries into the OSL. If they were the absolute best like you said, then shouldn't more of them have qualified. And out of the 2 that did qualify rain is the only one that made it into the ro16. You could take any average kespa player and they would do just as well in WCS.

"Pretty good?" lol Bisu was THE BvZ. Pretty good is a terrible term when it comes to BvZ, I'd say it was more like him vs Zergs in general. If you can find another BW player that did what he was able to in a match like PvZ, then I'm all ears.
But seriously SKT wins right off with BoxeR rejoining? lol Now just need oov back and everything will right in the world once again.

8 is usually not quite enough. 12+ is better to block everything with broodlings.
Even more important are Infestors and depending on the opponent Corrupters though.
He wasn't actually looking at effort in the second pic but still pretty funny... I also liked how Leta was walking about 5 paces ahead of his team when they went for the goodbye bow.

All the Kespa players are improving. But except Reality, the other Kespa players in WCS were seeded due to their PL results and most of them are aces for their team in sc2. So I think they were the best Kespa sc2 players. Are the leagues ahead of the rest where they cannot lose? Of course not. But they were definitely the top end of the Kespa players and not 'average' like you claim.
Okay so basically what happened was that Bisu killed all hatcheries of Effort and so every single buildings was revealed. Bisu looked around and saw the last Extractor in which he got just in time before Effort's army could reach to protect it. Honestly don't know what was Effort thinking, he should have turtles his ass around that one building.

I couldn't tell if that was what happened or he gg'd as it was late last night and I didn't watch the full vod, just the game and not the replay afterwards. Still can't believe Effort built the extractor there, the main had all his army there so he should have gone there. ^^

I think that was the plan since he had drones and minerals there. But the gases in the main were depleted so extractor couldn't be built. And he realized too late and could get back in time to protect the last extractor.
