Dat 6 and 12 positon on Circuit Breaker for Terran is so good defense.
lol
PianO the man, the legend.
But don't worry, he'll probably choke later on in this group/
Sharp starts with an 8 rax against Zelot on Circuit Breakers
Sharp loses time lifting his rax as his defensive bunker goes down at his ramp. ZeLoT just attacks the defensive formation after critical mass zerglings and Sharp GGs. Neo Jade 2.0 for Game 2.

I know you've been away all year but have you caught up on the current scene?

Sharp SW, ZeLoT NW, who floats NE on Neo Jade 2.0 for Game 2. Another 8 rax? Dang.

its always ok to 8rax against ZeLoT

OL is hunted down by initial marines! This time ZeLoT is caught completely unprepared! His sunken finally repels the assault, but costs him another overlord. ZeLoT is delayed heavily, but lair is still coming. Zergling-tight wall at Sharp's natural. Two factory transition from Sharp.

well sharp is currently in great form definitely improved greatly over the year getting great results like making it to the Ro8 of the VANT Starleague which is the ongoing offline tournament.
Goliath-heavy mech from sharp engaged. Muta harass does some damage. Muta stack runs through to main fearlessly and continues bombing units. The first hydralisks start to clump up outside Sharp's base.
Sharp add a third factory. ZeLoT looking a bit sparse, Sharp pushes out so it's not a big deal. Mass muta hits the base and forces gols to retreat. ZeLoT's proxy at 4 o clock is being besieged. Mass muta attacks. Goliaths spill back towards the base in response. What's he going to snipe, just a bunch of SCVs? Doesn't seem to get much out of it other than a few turrets and workers.

silly Sharp thinks this is 2008 meta
Valkyrieeeee. Doesn't seem to accomplish much. Sharp ggs. I'm actually confused as to why ZeLoT apparently GG'd the first game, didn't he have the advantage?

Game 3, FS 1.3. Sharp NW corner, ZeLoT NE corner. Correct OL drift.
Sharp opting for a more standard start it seems. Nice 11 rax. 12 hatch gas pool from ZeLoT.
Silly drone snipe at the natch hatch from the first marine and scouting SCV. Sharp bunkers his natural.
Lair -> Spire for ZeLoT. players have resolved for a passive start. 2 Rax pumping rines. Eventually, Engineering Bay added, will finish around when mutas pop.
Two sunkerns are started at the natural. Base race!?!? The sunkens are dead, but ZeLoT has unchallenged lings on sharp's main plateau. They are dealt with. Both players are alright again, with Sharp seemingly more ahead having done structural damage. Muta harass has arrived. Sharp has very few rines, but a good number of turrets slowing down the harass.
ZeLoT is dealing major economic damage. Marine count is a bit beefier now, Mutalisks not really dying a lot though. Sniping turrets and rines at opportunity. Sharp has 3 rax. Muta stack is starting to take costly losses from each swipe. ZeLoT Still pouring it on. Second bunker replaces the lost turrets and seems to effectively repel the stack. Mutaling not doing much other than containing, and ZeLoT still on two bases with no tech development. Sharp pulling further ahead it seems.
ZeLoT pouring it on more and more, Marines and mutas are both 1-0.
ZeLoT needs to transition out of this, it's not going to be so effective forever. Muta stack engages marines directly. ZeLoT GGs after taking minor losses. Sharp takes it.
Now we're looking at Sharp vs PianO? This is tournament?
Sharp vs PianO TvT, shouldn't be too bad.

yeah sharp vs piano nexyt but its a Bo1, winners and losers game are Bo1 and final game is again Bo3

Wasn't going to LR this one but proxy Starport from PianO at SW natch. PianO top left, Sharp bottom right, FS 1.3. Right now 2 base on 2 base. First wraith beelines for Sharp's main plateau, is chased off by the first goliaths.
PianO adds two more factories, floats his Starport waaaaay back to his base. Floating sharp barracks is killed. Wraith is out of the game. PianO loses a mech battle at his bridge, ends in a standoff. Neither player has siege yet, Sharp gets it first. Odd situation as PianO's forces grab his 3rd plateau, then charge off it as additional tanks move in from the west. Looking like Red Alert 2 up in here, with all these tank wars. Starport has returned and is making Dropships. This is signature PianO, when what he's doing is working he gets something else ready.
Dropship hits Sharp's main with 4 vults, which do minor damage and don't drop any mines interestingly. Mines are dropped instead at Sharp's third plateau. PianO has taken a 3rd at 11:00 but Sharp still on two bases. Sharp gunning straight for PianO's base! Tank battle! PianO emerges victorious.

Tune back in to see ZeLoT yoloing all his hydras in and getting halfway through those cannons. ZeLoT is eliminated.
Best and PianO vying for the last spot! Let's go PianO! Game 1 is on Circuit Breakers, farpos! Best SW corner, PianO NE corner.
Looks like standard play from Jinmook. Two gate core from Best, scouted. Marines cross the field.SUPPLY DEPOT IN FRONT OF 2GATE. CUTE KIN MOOK. DRAGOON DELAYED IN ADDRESSING VULTURE AT NAT. Okay no big deal he lost like three probes. Bunker in place in front of PianO's base, dragoons in front of Best's. One factory build. Floatover 3rd being built for PianO.
Robo tech is complete. Best's goons get collectively hit by a mine. Observer complete. Engi bay complete. Arbiter tech requirements on the way. Forge follows it up.

its circuit breaker
BeSt completes his mineral-only. He has two vultures sitting behind it unaware of it. Through absurd blind timing they spring on those probes and kill 3 before the cannon completes. PianO taking a 4th at 12:00, simultaneously with BeSt at 6 o clock. Mines are really hurting BeSt's goons as they cross the field. BeSt has map control. Arbiters coming. Very passive phase of the game.

Conspicuous recall, which includes a shuttle, hits main directly. BeSts remaining forces scramble to attack 12:00 as those forces are mopped up, Four Supply Depots lost, and PianO's tanks in trouble. Vulture force scrambles to repel the attack on 12:00. Damage to PianO is not too bad. He's still on 4 bases versus 4. BeSt setting up at 9:00 to compensate. Additional recall on top of main plateau tanks from last engagement. This time it does way better. PianO is actually running out of Supply Depots!? Additional BeSt base at NW spawn plateau. ADDITIONAL RECALL IN PianO main! PianO has no forces left. The Factories are all dying, BeSt rolling across the field with far superior numbers. This is dragon power! Tanks are in trouble. Science Facility sniped, PianO's gg timing is absurd. What is he waiting for. Recall under 3 Science vesels of pure speedlot. Dancing on his head. PianO finally GGs.
Enjoying BeSt's style.
Piano gg.

10/15; make 3 goons; robo and then reaver. Build "provided" by Bisu says the caster
Proxy Robotics facility from BeSt. His 8 marines 1 vult and one tank push out, kill one of the three goons that's sitting outside. Observer and Support Bay go up inside BeSt's base.
BeSt still hasn't expanded. PianO's natural just finished. One Base Protoss timing push! Dragoons camping waiting for robo units.
ALLEYCAT BLUES49034 Posts
nice mine daebak and reaver shot.
Holy shit, disastrous mine drag does extreme damage to retreating SCVs, initial Reaver suicides to kill a tank which allows the goon platoon to advance. PianO walls. He holds, with minor damage sustained. This means that BeSt is behind. His expansion is going up shortly.

vulture driveby catching a few probes.

Good drop defense by BeSt
Observer sees all. PianO has two factories. 2 base versus two base. BeSt takes the 7:30 expansion. BeSt definitely has map control, PianO fixes that with a bunch of vultures. Vults miss the hidden robo tech, deal respectable economic damage with a good runby. BeSt has three bases, it's going to even out if he wins the next engagement. Tankship sneaks around and drops more vults in BeSt's base. More drops on the way. PianO muscling his way into the lead. Pure goon moves in. Zealot dropped behind the lines sabotages tank defenses, BeSt still holds with a few tanks left. Tank drop happening in NE corner of BeSt's main enclosure. Vults are dropped as well. Control your main BeSt!
PianO has shut down BeSt's main indefinitely and the nexus is at risk of death. Vults go right in do damage to the other bases. PianO is definitely controlling every aspect of this game. BeSt mops the drops up. By now PianO has his third base up and is fully teched. Clear lead for PianO.
Supply Depot wall interferes with desperation push by BeSt, who ggs as the engagement begins. PianO still had stuff in BeSt's base.
Deciding game on FS 1.3! PianO versus BeSt. Crosspos, PianO SW, BeSt NE.
Short visit to Youtube as the game opens.
Well, this game should end quickly, one way or the other...
BeSt continuing with the proxy shenanigans.
We didn't mss much Fast Citadel off one gate for BeSt, though. Proxy pylon in front of PianO's base. PianO is playing standard. Repels scouting probe. 2 gate off the proxy for a total of 3 gates, temp archives coming. PianO scouting around the wrong way, he's about to get blindsided.
PianO is expanding. ARTOSIS PYLON. DARK TEMPLAR OUT. One DT. Miraculous mine fails to meet its mark. Wall of Vulture mines shut the DTs down. one gets through with a single point of health. Fails to prevent ebay from completing. DTs doing significant damage around the turrets. New vultures with new mines, DTs at least force the expansion into the sky.
Hard situation to describe, Dragoons join the battle. SCVs flock to assist. PianO's economy is more or less on track, Both players stuck on one base. Siege is nominal and BeSt is forced to chill out and expand. Vultures enter the field through PianO's 3rd plateau. Econ transition. Vultures run by, one kills 5 probes in the main before dying. PianO is looking slightly ahead but certainly going full econ right now. BeSt teching. Vultures doing way more damage than the should to BeSt's economy.
Forces in midfield equalize one another. Mines are doing heavy damage to BeSt throughout this game. The proxy gates are finally dead to a tank force, in no small part due to midfield mines on the leftover goons.
And now we're back to a normal game...
Big mech push cuts across the field. Goons engage, get destroyed. PianO is in full control, and BeSt's mineral line is under siege. 6 gates and he's siege contained by 3 tanks and a mine. This is looking worse and worse for BeSt. He has a shuttle! Drops!
Zealots force the tanks back, they are chased down by dragoons. Dragoons now crossing the field, try to ascend PianO's third plateau, Dragoon glitches out under the landed Engineering bay and dies as its borthers retreat. BeSt takes his third as well, considerably later than PianO's.

Heh, but how we got here...
Nicely played by PianO. Scouted well. Blocked well. Didn't panic or overcommit, and then punished accordingly.
Minesweeping obsgoon force. BeSt's mineral lines looking kind of pathetic. Tanks cut to BeSt's third, sets up on the way to meet an equally large Protoss force. It's pure tank/vulture. Zealot bombs do nothing. BeSt ggs as his goons evaporate. So much for BeSt, PianO's TvP couldn't spare him.
LOL, the caster has called out the stream watchers to play him because he wants to show them that it's possible for Protoss to go 11 Nexus and stop 5 pool. He failed, and then was yelling, "It's because I didn't scout it!!! I'm telling you, it's possible!!!"
Protoss at 1 o clock and if Zerg is at 7, he says it's possible.
"If I can't do it this time, I'll apologize." Hahaha
Ah, now he says you cancel the nexus and plant a gateway and 2nd forge and you can stop it.
"Yeah, this is how it was."
LOOOL
"Ah, ok. It's impossible. My bad guys. I apologize..." hahaha
Edit: But he still claims it's been done before. Something about if a probe hops right in the gap I think.
