Predictions: GGPlay over Up. Dunno bout this one, but GGPlay is 2-0 against Up, so I'll give it to GGPlay
Hwasin over July. July is on a rather bad streak against terran right now at 0-4, and Hwasin has a pretty strong TvZ, and a decent streak going against zerg players. Going purely by momentum I'm giving this to Hwasin.
Jaedong over Stork. I think people downplay Jaedong's ZvP and Stork's PvZ a bit too Much. Theyre still ~50% for the matchups, and that's not bad at all. However, going purely by momentum again, I'm giving it to Jaedong who's been winning a LOT lately.
sAviOr over Flash. I'm just giving this to sAviOr cuz hes friggin sAviOr. I honestly think this could go either way though
Up over GGplay cause I'm a fanboy July over Hwasin cause of the IEST fiasco! Stork over Jaedong cause common, Jaedong got destroyed by Nal_rock.... Savior over Flash cause I like Savior more I guess. EDIT: As you can see I don't bother actually trying to predict who wins, I Just pick whoever I like more
GGplay > Up: Blue storm is ok for ZvT and GGplay's zvt is among the best. Hwasin > July: Hwasin is too hot to be taken down by July right now. Also Fantasy is ill-suited for July's aggressive style because of the starting location distance. A better defensive management zerg like GGplay or Savior would fare much better here. Jaedong > Stork: Neither player has shown particular strength in this matchup, but I believe neutral dark swarms are going to be Z favored. Flash > Savior: Katrina is a steaming pile of shit. P>T>Z. It's a good thing Savior is nearly a lock to advance from his group. He'd have to lose and then frozean win just to force a tiebreak.
I don't know... the games should be good, but only one really counts for anything if all you're concerned about is qualifying (and only for one player). Talk about low pressure. ~_~
Oops, I guess Flash could still qualify. MY BAD. Make that two people these games matter to. :d
As much as I'd love for Savior to win, Katrina is 5-2 in favor of T, so Flash might be able to take it. Jaedong and Stork should be a close one as well; both of them are clashing with their weakest match-ups.

What do you mean? I'm kinda looking forward to the games tonight.
There isn't much excitement in this OSL and I blame it on the last one I don't know the GGPlay vs Iris had 5 really good games but overall it was really boring compared to the other osls. So it didn't really create any really interesting theme. For instance the MSL has numerous things which makes fans interested
Bisu's hat-trick Savior's revenge Bisu vs Hwasin And more just can't remember
I used to think OSL was way better until GOM started sponsoring the MSL. Since GOMTV1 MSL to me MSL > OSL

After the group stages though there will for sure be some interesting things going on in this OSL.

1hr and 40ish minutes. Theres "TIME" at the top right and a bit under that it says "CALENDER" which has "Upcoming events" which will tell you when things happen.
A third MSL and first OSL maybe, or eliminating Hwasin thrice? Iuno, though he's on the ropes at the moment, he'd better be training to rape Shudder. I have a lot more faith in Bisu when he's playing a Bo3/5 because his mental strength gets to shine and he never fails to give it everything. A bigger reason to worry is the game is on Blue Storm, the shape of the map itself sucks for PvT and he absolutely needs to win, it's his bogey map so far.
Hmm Ggplay > up cause usually osl curse means losing first 2 games and winning last Hwasin > july sry july hwasin is looking really awesome and he has momentum after beating iris Stork > Jaedong can go either way Savior > flash will be close can go either way but i love savior

That you need to update it, probably. Click on the left button, this does it. (If not, you got a different message)
I missed GGPlay vs Up but Daum player is working fine now. It took a lot of time to load up the stream so I thought it's going to lag but it's absolutely lag free.
Which link did people click to get daum to work? I clicked the yellow 1번방 rectangle and it seems to lag like crazy. There's also an orange rectangle, and other menus.

Try going in a different room. Lots of people in first room usually. Also lower stream for me works smoother
july has his main, nat, and min only. no expo for hwasin, he's got two rax and fact with addon. july has lair, and spire i assume (didnt see any yet though). ah there it is.
hwasin moving out with mnm tank, seen by OL. lings out to flank. hwasin raped by lings. new force out for hwasin (small army). gets raped mostly before the lings die.
july clearing up with his mutas but losing a lot more than he should by fighting in open ground. now taking it to hwasins base. doing better now with mutas. hwasin still on 1 base against july's 3.
that's it, first it was Midas and now Hwasin. Why is it that fucking all the players that i like fucking chokes, i mean maybe not choke, but just can't win that one fuckign needed game. FUCK .

i am chilled now. 5'o clock position on Fantasy is the least preferred location for any programers. ..........damn hwasin...i really wanted you to win thi OSL. NOW, let LIGHT shine and give Hwasin another light into this OSL> !!!

Shit, this is the third time my stream shows the interval inbetween when jeadong starts his spire and when it finnishes. It keeps dieing when the spire finnishes and keeps restarting when the spire is started.
Jaedong continues to push his units toward center and aggressively take on Stork's forces. Stork has 20+ unit count than Jaedong but Jaedong does not stop attacking center. Stork unable to mass.
Stork is starting to take control over the map. There's just a lot of hydralurkling vs zealotsgoontemparchon battles, and they go back and forth. Stork is looking advantageous at the moment.
Jaedong vs Stork reminded me of Boxer vs Yellow in superfight on that old blue map ragnorock? In a sense we dont see really large unit scale battles 150+ supply

it might, just might, have worked if he could outexpo stork but if you play 4 base vs 4 base it\'s going to be a sure loss, anyone can see that.
also, storks micro was really good while jaedongs storm dodging was a bit suspicious.
savior 3 hatch before pool, while flash gets his cc at his nat after his rax. his rax and 2 depots form a wall so savior can't get in with drone, but his overlord scouts the expo. 2nd rax for flash now. pool and extractor for savior.
flash starting another 2 rax for 4 total. spire for savior. ling speed up and about 1 group of lings for him. no sunken yet. flash starting fac and moving out with his first mm army.

what rly how come eveyrone else is saying 2 hatch pool =. =
savior tries to attack flash\'s main with mutaling! but all lings die and he kill off a few marines. nothing too bad for either side, except probably worse for savior.
savior's spire is out, and he's looking to flank flash's first mm army with his lings. flash starting his starport now. savior also expoing to top left. savior attacks flash's nat with muta ling, but flash has like 2 groups there and easily defends. savior doesn't lose many muta, probably fair trade of units there. hydra den started for savior. science facility for flash and 2nd ebay.
flash has like 6 turrets at his nat. savior getting a 4th hatch at his main now. adding an evo chamber as well. savior micros his mutas to snipe flash's first vessel, so thats going to be a set back for him.
flash has 2 starport vessel now. moving out with about 2.5 groups of marine medic. and vessels. savior's mutas get irradiated and he takes a while to separate them out, so they take quite a bit of damage. flash going up to 7 rax now. savior 's main army attacks his nat, but its not good. flash has an army there and it defends easily. flash's main army going to take out savior's top left base now.
huge army from flash moving out from his main. he carelessly loses 1 vessel to scourge, but it doesn't matter. 3dropship for flash almost gets caught by scourge, by he unloads in time. view of flash's main shows that he's getting mass firebats to counter savior's hive tech. the 3 dropships reach savior's main and unload. mass defense matrix on the army as well. savior doesn't look like he'll be able to defend. drop on bottom left as well taking out savior's expo. savior counter attacks flash's main, but its not going very well. savior will gg soon.

Because they probably meant he made two more hatches than pool which is 3 hatch pool

i'm quite sure it was 3 hatch before pool. maybe they meant that he starts 2 hatch before his pool.

i think savior moved his scourge above them not around main, just silly positioning
poor play that game, he probably thought F it after the muta ling all in. I hope this game shines more light on people who say flash is just a cheeser, he can play good straight up and has good macro.
Up is up against 14-0 zvt. He has to come up with something cause i know no terran right now can play straight up against jaedong. I wish Bisu qualifies and hwasin and flash and savior.
Savior was obviously deliberately throwing this game, going for D2 place because he want to enter the final with Bisu(who's A2, yes, I don't need to wait another week to be sure for this) being his opponent.

Right...
But Stork really has bad luck if he faces Savior again...
Upmagic defeated shudder and bisu, and if for example 2 people are 2:1 whoever won between them is no1, since up defeated both the 1:1, he cannot be no2 because he played ggplay who is already out.
For group b, if light beats iris, he is 3:0 and is b1 and then theres a tiebreaker yes. If he loses, iris is 2:1, Light is 2:1 and july hwasin = 1:2, and if iris beats light and there both 2:1 then iris gets no1 because he won there encounter. Group C is simply Stork c1, Jaedong c2.
Group D is now, if Frozean defeats rock, Rock is out and savior/flash/frozean have three way tie
for example it could be: Savior vs Flash Savior vs Frozean Frozean vs Flash
If frozean loses, then Flash is d1, savior d2 since flash just defeated savior.

yea it'll really suck for stork if he gets eliminated by savior in 3 consecutive leagues lol.
C'mon, I don't think anyone honestly still thinks any Terran can beat Bisu. Jaedong has a nice bracket, he'll have an easy trip to the finals (Assuming Group D doesn't go to tie-breakers), but then he's getting his colon annihilated by Bisu.
On November 03 2007 07:37 Cambium wrote: Iris will eat Bisu alive... mark my words.
doubt it, hwasin is better in almost every aspect mechanically, the only thing iris has over hwasin is his aggressiveness and hard timing pushes.. but bisu is nearly immune to play like that. a player with bisu's intelligence, game sense, and timing will not lose the same way stork did last osl, and i cant see iris outplaying bisu in the long game.
fact: last time savior beat a ranked terran in a kespa event (proleague, osl, msl) where he didn't end up losing the series was in group stages of daum osl vs flash

well its convinient you missed out wcg where he defeated light 2:1 and lost to hwasin 1:2, and the fact that you say series when vs flash was just a bo1, he defeated fbh twice and iris once in bo3/5, his zvt still isnt top notch but he can still win, it just needs work again. Using facts that make savior look worse doesn't prove anything.
On November 03 2007 13:08 ShaLLoW[baY] wrote: actually, wcg isnt a kespa event afaik
ya i know but im sure this is correct but i read somewhere savior said he had wcg at the top of his to do list (not those words) so leaving it out of the equation is rather weird...
idk if its a kepsa event aswell but it is worth points (well wcg korea is)
