Placing it there allows you to defend your main with 1 hatch. Your expo isnt as fast but you wont die to a player who walks around your nat and into your main. | ||

If he does some fast dropship build, of course you must adapt to it with some speedling in your main. | ||

The only reason i 11/10 is because its easier to defend vs bunkers and whatnot. you can 12/11 also though. I think travis' advice is better though, you should listen to him instead of me | ||

If you are really worried about fag-style T openings, just 10-12 pool before hatch(Then make a hatch or two where you can line up sunkens). Gaema is unique because although it has two ramps, there is no unreachable raised cliff like on Lost Temple making tank drop/cliffing worthless. Unfortunately whoever made Gaema Gowon is a fucking idiot and didn't see it fit to make all the bases more unified, so some positions are absolutely horrible for a Z player(3 on Shin Gaema comes to mind due to it's wide lower choke and upper choke being completely seperate from the lower and needing it's own sunken line). My personal preference on the map for a safe start is 9/9 hat/pool and teching straight to lurkers while making as many lings to stop early marines as necessary, hopefully if you are fast enough the timing for your lurkers will make sunken hoarding unnecessary and you will have not wasted a lot of minerals and time and will be in a better position for the mid game than if you had wasted money on the sunken line. You can drone-up later and power all over the map while developing the unit selection of your choice. Gg;; | ||

It's Like This.. when i got your nat hat up, T will have about 3-4 rines coming to u (mayb scvS TOO!) then they will just walk up the ramp right away.. even if u 10 hat and got a sucken and some ling there... ling will lose to rines and sucken wont reach those marine which r walking up the ramp... mayb u can get like 1 irne or something... or T can even choose not to walk up the ramp but take the way around your natural hat and sucken and go in your main I think they should make the ramp closer to Natural Expansion so Sucken can reach the ramp and u can put some ling up onthe ramp. | ||
