Sometimes i really do like these low Key drama anime, so is this series good? Heard a lot of praise on mal. I enjoyed Honey and Clover a lot, ist from the same mangaka right? Have you tried Pop team epic from this season? It's a bit like that in that you have those 60sec (or way less than that) skits just that in this case it's dirty jokes. But youtube does explaining better than trying to explain it with words, have a look at this 60sec clip to get an idea: Anime of the Decade Eh, I felt like it was the perfect description for K-ON... S1 was kind of OK. About half of the episodes had some decent laughs. The second season overstayed its welcome though. It was painfully long and really repetitive.

They actually made a mini series that tried to emphasis the character points - which completely backfired because it's so stupid to rip the last veil that disguises the fact that every character can be summed up with 3 bullet points. Anyways, yes, they do form a band, to some cool songs, drink lots of tea and eat cake and then do the typical school stuff. You know, class trips, studying, festivities. oh interesting. Ya, it sounded extremely boring to me so never bothered to give it a try.

I mean, there's way more character growth and like, goals for the characters in K-On though, and it ends with satisfying conclusions at the end of both seasons. in SYD its just random arcs to justify the lewd jokes, nothing really happens. It's like the flagship of that.

I enjoyed it. A lot of people did. I also got a lot of good music out of it because Hikasa Yoko is a fucking amazing singer. And the actual playing of the music instruments in the songs made by HTT is really good and sold a fuckton of tickets on shows all around Japan. Please don't call an anime bad or shit just because it's not what you were looking for. K-On was really good in what it wanted to do. I just wish they gave Yui the voice of Mio, since she deserves the "main singer" role much more, and Yui kind of sounds like a crack-whore. Honestly, I don't even think "slice of life" should be in K-On's genre list. School, Comedy, Music sounds like enough. Also, Aria was the most boring anime I have ever attempted to watch, and I will never understand how people enjoy it, cause I would literally enjoy watching a mosquito fly around in my room more. The top review on MAL literally gave it a 9 and said it was so "relaxing" that he was falling asleep while watching it, so it took him a longer-than-usual-time to finish.

Sent is just a big tsundere when it comes to K-on. He even has his own yui towel! But yeah I think the lifetours are worth mentioning. I still crack up every time i think about how they made hikasa learn the bass left handed because Mio is left handed in the series. That must be the worst Oh right, had my birthday yesterday and got more weebshit!

Thoughts about Shinsekai Yori? Started it recently, 4 episodes in. So far pretty weird, but the Story is super interesting.

Shinsekai yori is considered really good by a lot of people, but I personally have attempted to watch it like 3-4 times over the years, and i never get past the first 3-8 episodes.

You thought K-On was good but you thought Aria was boring? I don't even know what to say about that. I guess thats impressive, in a certain way?
