Please sign so GomTV doesnt change him as a GSL Code A caster! Im gonna make a Moletrap fanclub since i think its such a shame he doesnt have one by now!
Ah i remember the finals were july got his golden mouse 08(ithink?) vs best as if it were yesterday(i remember all the 3 games very accurately even ). have been listening to moletrap back then for a while already
Moletrap was always a good caster (he'd disagree - for as long as I'd listened to him, he was) - now he's evolving into a great caster. He's also been a really pleasant guy in every conversation I've had with him. Personally, I think it's great to see the passion for the game that led him to cast Starleague Finals from his car in a university parking lot rewarded with this commentating gig in Korea, and I hope he stays to keep doing it as long as he wants to.
Moletrap is such a legend.....he makes a great GSL caster. i still remember when he cast MSL's and OSL's with the likes of rise and klazart. always amazing and enthusiastic casts. Keep it up moletrap you rule
Although he doesn't understand the game as well as would be entirely optimal, he does a wonderful job considering (Tyler said something to this effect on SoTG)
All the people who are hating disregard the fact that he has the right skillset to cast, he will eventually have the in depth knowledge everyone would want him to have. He has the dedication and the will.
Yeah Moletrap! Been a fan of his since the BW days. I still try to watch any video he uploads on youtube. Pretty much him and Diggity are the only people I subscribe to that I do that.
Sign me up yo. Moletrap I've been following you since your brood war days and I am so happy for you that you get to live your dream by casting code A. I hope GOM keeps you forever.
sign me up, haters gonna hate, Moletrap if u read this: dont listen to the trolls, do your thing you know your real fans enjoy your casting and the rest can go ***** themselves
Sign me up! One of the few casters who did bw commentary back when I first got interested in bw in 2008. Huge thanks to him and really appreciate the work he has done!

is he fired or what? he was pretty good imo. i've not seen his sc1 commentaries. i think he just needs to act a little less surprised and try to take control of the crowd, instead of being a jittery fanboy XD
I just want to say that whether people like Moletrap or not I am ashamed at the SC2 community who post on the GOMTV website and choose to air their frustration in terms of violence or bigotry. If you've read the comments sections there you know what I mean.
It takes a lot of skill and practice to be a commentator and I applaud Moletrap for giving it his all in Korea!

Well said sir. I am really disappointed in sc2 fans as well. The hate toward Moletrap on gomtv and on tl was undeserved.

I'd like to expand on this, because not only is the behavior of those who post on gomtv extremely juvenile and disrespectful towards Moletrap, but it also renders the comments section useless for discussion about the actual game because 90% of the posts are Moletrap hate posts. I've been using the web my entire life but it never ceases to amaze me the extent that people use it as a platform to vent their anger and spam insults towards anyone that they can.
Oh well. I'll miss Moletrap. Hopefully he'll continue to be a source of commentary in the SC2 scene.
GSL is rotating the Code A commentators, so he isnt fired he knew he would be there for 1 months and then leave. Also I do hope he gets hired by them full time when all the other commentators have been tried out because he surely is one of the best and I love his casting. I just hope the trolls wont get to him, please continue casting. Much love <3

Those were just some of the nice quotes from this man. He got really good towards the later weeks. Personally I think he Moletrap and Wolf was a great casting team. I would like for Moletrap to be able to get back to GSL for some more casting - the anonymous rage was totally undeserved.

I agree. Same deal with Kelly (yes people had problems understanding her due to her accent but the criticism should be constructive instead of just insults sometimes).

It seems really strange that they would do this at a time when they are left with a solo caster though, way too boring for me to watch.
he is decent at shouting really loud when battles start. his game knowledge is pathetically lacking , especially for ZvX match ups. combine that with him actually being condescending to players while commentating wrong makes him a perma mute when i watch him cast. also he lacks a lot of multitask(this is an understatement) to commentate efficiently
that criticism aside, i hope he continues casting, and i definitely hope he IMPROVES as a caster, because he does have his moments and im not exactly sure why i would hate someone who loves sc2 as much as he does.

Nice, that's good constructive criticism . Like I said earlier, criticism is okay but only if it's constructive and not just outright hateful or negative.Sadly on the GOMTV forums, posts weren't really nice .
I'm sure he can easily improve if people would just give him "constructive feedback" (not too harsh, not too negative, just the facts and how to improve, etc).
Anyway I started watching a few recent BW videos he has casted and he definitely has contributed a lot at least in BW.
Plus he should get some slack because he has done a lot for the community ever since BW (he is open to suggestions).
Anyway while he isn't as good (currently) in SC2, I'm sure he can improve.
I've loved Moletrap since SC1, i used to watch his YouTube casts all day. Really glad he's getting some SC2 opportunities, hope he can become even more popular so we start seeing him a lot more.
Just popping in to say keep up the good work, Moletrap. You've really improved a lot, and I'm sure you'll keep improving as well. Love your enthusiasm and your impressive player-research efforts.
He's a great caster. The amount of hate this guy gets is so unfair. He gives up his life, friends and family to go to a foreign country to cast games for us, with great gamesense and a lot of enthusiasm. We should be so thankful for guys like that, but instead all he gets is "whine whine whine, omg I hate his voice my world ends"
Yeah sure, he has some little problems he should work on, like having a hard time of reading when the co-caster is done talking, but that comes with experience and easily fixed and it's actually his enthusiasm that causes that.
Moletrap brings some spice to the cast, I love that.
Merited or not I think that If I can give any piece of advice is that credit willl be given where credit is due. You don't hav eto worry about your input being appreciated or not. Anyways, thanks for sticking around for sc2. I liked your bw casts.
it took me a while to get used to his style, but now am a huge fan. Please sign me up and let continue the support. Moletrap is very passionate about esports and he deserves all the support.
Moletrap is pretty damn awesome, his passion for SC and SCII shows through in those intense battles. Glad that he is a part of the community and casting GSL.
I have a vivid memory of Moletrap uploading some of his own sc2 games where he played as Zerg under the alias Moletrap, I think around the time of release of sc2.
I can't find the videos on his youtube accounts any longer. Could he have deleted them out of shame of his poor play? Or can they be found somewhere?
In the beginning I didnt think that this could happen but now I think that Moletrap is almost my favourite GOM caster. I think he has improved a lot since he joined.
While I am not a real fan of Moletrap, I salute him nonetheless. It is the continuing effort of guys like Moletrap which allows e-sports being that big of a phenomenon. When I see him casting and think about what I have done, I feel so small.
Not only Moletraps mistake but this OSL cast/show is kinda lame... no real content in between games. The biggest thing about OSL is the big names who transition out of SC:BW. The production of OSL is nowhere near GSL
Great job these past 2 days Moletrap, really stepped up your game, never liked your casting for GOM, but you've changed a lot, less frantic casting is better for you I feel, although sometimes it's so good :D
i swear to god i hope they didnt fire him. he released a vid talkin about it but if the haters really cost moletrap his job ima be pissed. Such a fun caster, a good entertainer imo. please sign me up! I approve of the legend that is moletrap!!!!!
Basically, Moletrap was really good in BW and I hope more people know this before just blindly flaming him. He isn't as good in BW but he did great in BW and had the potential to do great in SC2 too.
