2006: Joins eNature, stays for about 6 months and afterwards joins eSTRO in late 2006 2010: SangHo gets accused of being involved in the match fixing scandal (liquipedia link on match fixing scandal) but is found to be innocent. Unfortunately though, this incident together with his father falling ill made him decide to retire.
But then... in 2010 during GSL Open Season 2.. a player shows up under the name BabyByeBye.. It's the return of the Tae Kwan Do toss! After reaching the ro16 in this tournament and being invited to the GOM TV All-Stars invitational 2010 he earned himself a spot in Code A for the 2011 GSL tournaments, and became the suave baller we know and love today.
He's really one of those guys that worked himself up from scratch in GSL. Starting at the absolute bottom and clawing his way through the open seasons, through code A into the well earned spot in Code S he has today. Although he may not yet be a hard hitter like our GSL champions, this guy is always solid, and has his moments where he becomes an unstoppable monster.
Someone needs to add the story Artosis told during one of his matches where he bet everyone that he would go out and Beat Jaedong. Clip that story and add it.
We need to get a petition to get him to change his name back to Sangho! Sounds cooler.

and thanks for the vids and twitter, added it.
I'm not positive if this is the one, but this is an old VOD of him beating Jaedong.
SangHo is my second favorite player behind his former TSL Protoss teammate Tester. My jaw dropped watching his games against Phoenix in GSL Open #2 opening Nexus first and going into dual Stargate phoenix.
Ah sweet. I was hoping a Sangho fanclub would pop up eventually. I always keep an eye on how the old brood war pros do in SC2. Even though Sangho has been inconsistent so far I still root for him and hope that TSL's new stricter practice regimen pays off. Sign me up yo!
Sign me up for this! I talked to him on Skype a few hours ago! It was really really awesome.
It was really funny because I was wearing my Team Liquid jersey and he was asking me about that and at first I thought he was saying "Kim the kid" but after a while we worked it out and I learned that he was asking me about "Team Liquid". Say "Kim the kid" to yourself several times and it makes sense. He also said that they will be selling TSL jerseys soon so that is definitely something to look forward too!

Sangho hwaiting!
Yeah man. So nice. I ad him on skype and he called up, so sad I don't have a microphone haha! Kim the kid :D <3
I have to say that I was a little bit surprised to find out there was no fanclub for him yet, even though he has been a starcraft baller since debut in 2006.
Im talking ofcourse about non other then: SHIN SANG HO!!!
His skill in crushing nerd face into the pavement is only surpassed by his skill in producing epic new haircuts every few weeks.

The reason I made this fanclub is because although Killer may not be a player that really stands out, he has however been a player that has had a consistent performance in SC2 so far and has been in the scene for over 5 years. The support he has shown to his team (TSL) by giving them back the salary he earned really shows a level of sportsmanship and love for the SC2 scene we all could learn from.
Please help me with making this fanclub better by posting whatever content you think should be included in this thread. Thanks in advance!
NEXT MATCH: CODE S RO32 AUG 10, 18:10 KST GOGO CHEER HIM ON!!!
Im afraid he did not play on August 10th, HuK is playing in the NA Blizzcon invitational win thing so they had to postpone the game to the 16th. Although I like Killer I will have to root for HuK, Hes Canadian, Protoss and part of team liquid. Edit: Forgot to mention its on 13:10 KST (21 PDT I believe)
Also everyone should watch the New Path show made by Artosis, SangHo is in it a lot even though it is about Major. His english is improving a lot. Here is a link to episode two
How am I not part of this? Wow. I am disappointed in myself. I'll take some time to reflect, and come back later when SangHo rips another nerds face off.
BW recently had an unlikely protoss hero. Will SC2 have one, too? This handsome baller could be the one. He could easily have an all-terran run to the final... you can do it SangHo!
Bits from Sangho/Killer's interview after Code S Games today Question: Why are Protoss having such a hard time? Please be objective about this. Answer: I'll be cold and objective. It's not whining. Protoss is really gloomy. I don't think dealing with Terran's 1-1-1 became any better due to the patch. Realistically, Terrans have no need to adjust to the patch. Honestly, I feel sorry for the Zerg because they suddenly got nerfed even though they didn't do anything wrong [laugh]. While skill is the most important for a Progamer, if there's a racial balance that isn't even close to what's normal, then I think the game developers need to start thinking about it. If they want to hear what's so bad about Protoss and hear some advise, I'll logically organize it and explain it to them so I hope they contact me sometime. Dear David Kim, let's drink soju together, and have an sincere conversation with each other.
Manliest man Kaptain Killer volunteering to lead a Protoss contingent to discuss race design issues with DK over some soju. How can you refuse him?

OMG I just became an even bigger fan of this guy. Holy shit, he is awesome. I'm not saying I agree with his opinions on this, but his confidence, and awesome stuff like "dear david kim, let's drink soju together, and have a sincere conversation with each other" just makes me love him.

Oh and btw you guys should watch episode two of New Path from Artosis as well, at least the beginning, Killer shows off his gosu english skills, as well as being a dashing handsome baller.

Sign me up, been watching some interviews with him and he seems like the coolest korean pro out there imo. Also amazing play today in the GSL loved both the games
Sorry guys, I've been away for a while.. But i've updated the fanboy list and will include all the vids and pics you posted as soon as I have the time!
Sign me up forsure, Killer is a mad sick nerd baller. Without question is the most handsome player in the GSL alongside Nada Great games he showed this week!
SangHo played so unbelievably well last night. It is incredible how much his play has improved with last season. I just hope that his PvZ and PvP has improved as much. It makes me feel good to see him play up to his potential.

I would have said this too. Except seeing as coL signed Heart and NaDa with him + being in partnership with MVP means he can live in their team house I think? So it could turn out to be really good for him! I'm happy he's on a team
Oh and since he's on coL he might make an appearence at some foreign tournaments :D :D :D
So happy for SangHo, he definitely deserves a good team, and got one for sure! You can tell how much he cares about the game just by watching his last Code A match.
Today's GSL up&down matches and a very well thought "swag train" build made me a new Swagger's fan. Show us some swag in code S :D Edit: I can't believe no one has posted in Sangho's fanclub for so long. Come on, he deserves much much more love !
Edit2: Also this :

I went to watch GSL or WCS or whatever a couple years ago in Seoul, and I brought a sign that said "SANGHO I'LL LOVE YOU FOREVER" or something. I held it up every match. Not once did I make it on camera.
Next day in ASL I brought some generic sign about YAY ASL or something and immediately made it on camera. I suspect I violated some rule about never speaking of the past like the rotten foreigner I am 😂
