I haven't been able to catch the games live, but I want to say the stage looks AMAZING. I'm really excited for next year. Netease has done a lot for the scene, one aspect I've been kinda disappointed in them in the past few years, is they've been kinda stingey on prize pools. BUT, they've gone above and beyond and added more player slots, including Western slots so I need to give them props for that.
Anyway, I'm stunned of their 2019 plans. Really exciting stuff.
I really hope they will hotfix these current problems soon.
Cant find any laddergame, and custom games seem to not work properly. Chat channels also kinda bugged.
This is really annoying, especially because reinstalled the game after more than 5 years pause and im pretty hyped . unfortunatly right now its not working anymore
- Moon, Lyn & Infi gathered 51 Premiere Championships together, Foggy is on his way to win his first. - Every Gold League ever has been won by Chinese, Infi is the only remaining one to keep that streak alive. - The winner of Moon & Lyn will be the 2nd Korean finalist ever (Lyn, Fall 2016) - Foggy would be the first Western Champion since Grubby in 2009. - If Foggy wins the semifinal, it'd be the first foreigner final for a GOLD tournament ever - Could be the first World Championship for Moon since 2011 (same goes for the entire Nightelf Race) - Lyn & Moon are basically 50/50 in matches & maps, despite both playing for ~15 years - Until this year, Foggy couldnt beat Infi ever. This changed and he started a 3:0 winstreak. Infi won the last encounter though and won every match they had offline.
Quite a few cool storys, make sure to tune in to the Warcraft3 World Championships

Human winning would be nice. Chinese winning would not be so nice (streak breaking is always a cool story). Can't decide if I want to cheer for him or not...
Warcraft3 World Championship - Grand Final in 2,5hours!
For the past two weeks, the 24 best Warcraft players in the world gathered in Shanghai to fight for the Championship in the Warcraft GOLD League and $16,500.
After a fierce groupstage and two days of playoffs, the two nightelfs Moon (Korea) and Foggy (Ukraine) will face each other in the finals.
The game is scheduled to start at 20.30 CST (4.30 PST | 7.30 EST | 12.30 GMT | 13.30 CET | 15:30 MSK)
2 hours earlier, Lyn (Orc, Korea) and Infi (Human, China) will face each other in the Game for 3rd.
We will crown a new World Champion, as TH000,who won the previous two GOLD tournaments in November 2017 and June 2018, has already been eliminated in the groupstages.
- This will be the first GOLD League without a Chinese champion - This will be the first Premiere Title for a Nightelf since 2011 - If Moon wins, it’s the first Korean Premiere Title & World Championship since December 2016 (Lyn @ WCA 2016) - Moon is only the third foreigner in a GOLD League Final (following Lyn & Foggy) - If Foggy wins, it’s the first Western World Championship & Premiere Title since 2009 - If Foggy wins, it’s the first Ukrainian Premiere Title ever - It’s a Master vs. Apprentice battle, since Foggy takes a lot of his strategies from Moon - Moon has 15 years of competitive Warcraft experience - Foggy has 4 years of competitive Warcraft experience, playing only is 8th offline tournament
