Still reasonable though, I don't think they'll take even maps of the biggest teams, but beating a Renegade, LG, or eUnited should be quite doable and a first step! Well they made a bit of a scratch atleast..

No. I watched Liquid vs Luminosity as well as parts of mibr vs Renegades, mibr vs NRG and eUnited vs Fnatic, and none of those games had those problems. I first thought it was a problem with my ipad before checking twitch chat to see that everyone was complaining.

Onto a lighter note, how often has HenryG used the term "the default" this tournament thus far?

I said it before, but on t-side nuke they need to take ramp and outside more often and work more slowly. It seems everything they do is a rush, or a delayed rush where the cts have all the advantages. Taking ramp and outside gives the terrorists more options, and effectively boxes the cts in, instead of vice versa.

Also, having everyone bottleneck at 1 chokepoint on a retake is a recipe for disaster. Spread out and retake from multiple angles.

All of these teams have similar levels of gunskill, so what really separates the best from the rest is their strategy, teamwork, and chemistry. For example, 1 round on T-side inferno Liquid was attempting to run their default 3b/2a. Before the players at B had even got a chance to do anything, the 2 players A had already peaked apt, and got mowed down by a heavy apt setup by Astralis. I have to ask, what was the purpose of that? You are not going to be hitting the A bombsite yet, so why even peak? If they had waited for their team to regroup, and hit A together, the players coming up middle would have been aware of a heavy apt stack and been able to relay that information. No point in getting picked off piecemeal. Congrats to Astralis they definitely deserved to win.

Then Nuke, ugh. I know it's not their fault, and their map pool stacks poorly against Astralis (given their Cache near-permaban), but still, feels like Train could've gone better than Nuke at this point. But as soon as they started getting smashed on Nuke, it felt like this was the end already. Sad, but Twistzz still had a great tournament, so there's that. Also NAF and those clutches, lol.
