Just scroll down the page and look at the bottom left for the Team Liquid server info ^^. Once you get in, you just have to scroll down until you find TL Heroes (hint: use Ctrl + F).

Sweet, thanks ^^ that was me who popped in just now (DasGleiche).

Games are pretty meh anyway, completely opposite of what we had at Blizzcon and Blizzcon qualifiers, every game you see same 10-15 picks and that is about it, you can predict picks and bans for each team blindly just by hearing on which map they are playing...
Really? I enjoyed the 2 games I watched so far. 2nd support bans seem to be fashionable, and Tyrael/ETC are very popular warriors. Pretty close games, where one good play/positioning mistake is all it takes.
I missed a Nova play while playing Nova. Sad day, but guess I didn't missed to much. They really should try Bruiser Kharazim with Stim drone some time !

Kaelaris that was not nice to say ;_; .
He almost took VortiX down for a moment. Not a spectacular play but well, it's something... It was a hype moment.
What a sick ending, was sure fnatic had lost for a while. 0 mosh pits for the longest time due to every member on the other team having a disable. Then 1 hero moshpit into gg

And the improved mighty gust at the final base race was insane too, wp Fnatic!
I haven't followed TL's heroes team after they bombed out of MGA and failed to qualify for Blizzcon. I'm tuning in and I see a troll rexxar pick from Liquid and they didn't get a single kill against Fnatic. Seems like Liquid still haven't escape their slump. Even with the two new players they seemed lost when it comes to the draft and behind the meta. Man, I was hoping they improved. Sucks to see them struggling after a dominant run in the beginning of two his year.

In my opinion your judgement is wrong, you just had bad luck when watching at them. Lot of people inside the community think they came back with the new roster as strong as they were or even stronger, and they beat Fnatic at the Fragbite Masters' Grand Finals a week ago 3-2. The Rexxar pick was kind of experiment I guess, but I don't think we can't judge them for just this game. Of course this is just my opinion talking...
As I'm writing this they seem to be struggling against Fnatic game 2 right now lol

Well, it was the winners match also, so they must have done stuff right in the 1st game. And seeing that G2 won with a "troll Nova pick", it looks like it's a good time to experiment even on a tournament stage after the last huuuge patch - the meta might be in the least stale state ever right now.
FN won, and deserved it, definitely, but as TL won last weak vs them, I would not call it "struggling" yet - I guess today will show if it was just an experiment or they wanted to hide their best team vs FN as there was not much to lose, or if they really bomb out ^^;.
Both Fnatic and Team Liquid are looking spectacular. Team Liquid is looking shaky here and there, but it's only a matter of time before they find their stride.
The good news is that we get to see Team Liquid play a bit sooner! :D
I've been a big G2 supporter in the past, but I don't think they're looking especially great this tournament, and I think it's likely that Liquid will repeat their 2-0 domination from the first day.
They did a good job of bringing it back. The first half of the game was really sloppy, but those rotations from about 16 onward were really strong. They really are starting to resemble classic Tempo Storm -> lose all game, then get Level 20 and win.
Liquid with another rexxar troll pick against Dignitas. Seriously, what is Liquid doing? They lose the first map. Rexxar didn't do anything. The rexxar didn't work against fnatic, too. Stop trying to make it work in a tournament.

Rexxar isn't a troll pick on Dragon Shire
Only if you're Cloud9. I feel like they are the only team that makes rexxar work. For the other teams like Liquid...not so much.

I'm more or less in agreement. iDream is the only really good Rexxar player I know of at the moment. VortiX was looking quite shaky in comparison.
Meta has been so different from pre-patch in this tourney for the matches I have watched. Tons of ETC and Falstad. More KT than Jaina. Zeratul has dropped completely out of the meta for a while now. Thrall seeing play. Diablo just got picked over Johanna by Dignitas. Medic was just banned.
I'm traumatised because I lost a game in similar fashion last night, though we defended the core against leoric twice when it was on 1%, killed all of them, went to their core, only for nazeebo to refuse to back when we asked him to because he was silenced and we lost to a catapault wave
Yep people don't seem to know how to follow the instructions for unlocking Cho'gall. Of course it should be pretty easy and quick to get him just playing 2 games against ai with the many people who haven't completed the 2k gold quest for playing 4 games with someone who doesn't have Cho'gall.

?
MVP.Black won a tournament 1 or 2 weeks before Blizzcon against team DK with Rexxar. Rexxar is very situational pick, but that doesn't mean that he isn't viable.

wow that was a big mistake. Falstad wanted to fly to his team since they were seen, but lacked the range and ran into Sonya. And well the disengage was missing because of it. Otherwise it would have been a good delay.
I think Lucifron is the weakest player on Liquid. He should be kicked, but Vortix will probably leave, too. Who's the shotcaller on Liquid. The decision making is pretty bad.
Liquid's objective goals are pretty poor, too. They tend to go for kills and not go for bosses/objectives. Fnatic is so good playing the map. They remind me of the old Liquid.
This current Liquid squad seems worse than the old Liquid squad. The old squad was so good at playing the map and taking onjectives like camp. This current squad seems to be always a step behind. They react instead of being proactive.
Liquid falstad play is subpar. I rarely see him split pushing to get a level advantage. What's the point of getting the hero if you aren't going to split push. He seems to always be grouped up.
On November 28 2015 08:41 Garbels wrote: I think you are overreacting and the falstad thing is just not true.
You don't think the old Liquid squad is better than this current group? This current team plays so sloppily. The old group was so good at playing the map.
I would have really liked if Falstad would have went for the old burst damage build. With the new Gathering power you can really go wild with vikings on the enemy team. Also Vikings player to sleepy to play against Falstad lol.
I want a regame with Uther taking mule intead of the never been used cleanse.
Wow, Liquid just threw hardcore. If they just went for the core after the falstad kill they would have won. Instead, they went chasing after hero kills. The decision making of Liquid was so poor.
Maybe falcon, blackcorps and grandpkt wasn't the problem. Lucifron was caught out so many times. Vortix multi tasking with the vikings was pretty slow. His apm was not up to par.
So, Liquid failed to win a championship in csgo, heroes, and starcraft at winter. Man, what a disappointing showing. Liquid needs to pick up squads that are winners. We need to see some results.
Dreamhack use to be Liquid's turf. We had so many championships with Taeja and HerO. We had the Heroes squad win multiple titles. Lately, Liquid have been struggling at Dreamhacks to win titles. What happened to the winning tradition? I feel like Liquid as an organization is in a slump.

They just got 1st and 2nd in two pretty stacked tournaments with the new squad, which is an improvement from what the old one did in the end. Also, they went from being behind the meta, struggeling hard with multiple warrior comps, to defining it with introducing Thrall as a Morales counter and bruiser Karazim.
The Duran brothers were pretty much 1 and 2 in Europe in SC2 for a while, so they know what it takes. TL is based around them. They did get to the finals by beating Dignitas, remember...

2nd is OK. It's not a championship, but it's not incredibly disappointing.

Last game was a tense finish. Was a bit of a strange game, Lucifron had a very poor game on the vikings but Fanatic feared the teamfight so much, they were running each time from the viking longboat which mostly ended up with teamliquid gaining ground and temple shots while the vikings still did damage. Then fanatic turned around and Liquid ran with Fanatic getting the better end out of deal basically as the xp lead from viking play was nonexistant. Lucifron was not up to par that last series but that can happen, doesn't mean the player is crap instantly or something. Arguably falstad is also one of the best counters to abathur/vikings soaking capability. You can't just rely on checking the minimap to be safe, falstad can fly right on you and chase you with his higher movement, it's really one of the counters to those heroes.
ETC being so popular is interesting to see, in a sense he is basically a kerrigan with better hitpoints. I found it curious though there wasn't a single stage dive. Mosh pit is obviously the better ult but there were games where every hero had a counter to moshpit and moshpit did absolutely nothing, it got only attempted once or twice and instantly interrupted. I see that there is value in purely the threat of it but not that much i'd say. Stage dive isn't great per se but is actually quite useful when it comes to those later situations where it's splitting up a lot of times. And from level 16 ETC can still do his old splitpush style that is actually even more effective then. Falstad being so popular was also a bit curious to me. The autoattack build on him is better now and basically the only choice as you can finally get the better hammer range AND seasoned marksman. A really curious case where by putting a talent from level 1 to level 4 he got better as the second best level 1 talent is better than his level 4 choices. I still don't see him being all that good to pick him so much, he's nice for gust of wind combo's and as a counter to aba/vikings but I found it a bit weird he was picked so early so much. 31 out of 36 games saw him contested while jaina only 20 games, I think it's mostly an europe thing i guess.
Melee assassins are in sad state though. Warriors just do their role but better it seems. Looking at a brawler like illidan/butcher? just take sonya instead. A ganking hero like kerrigan? ETC (or mura) does that for you. Thrall was responsible for 7 out of the 9 melee assassin picks, he at least brings something unique to the table with his ranged poke. This class of heroes seems to similar I guess, where one of them sits on top (sonya this case) that pushes most others out. Some of the counters are also a bit too harsh, that 50% on reverberation from Mura is tough to deal with.
I think the Falstad pick made TLV much more difficult to play than in past tournaments. Much easier to see when an opponent leaves lane when they have to travel rather than almost instantly fly to your Vikings.
well a few silly death to falstad. Teamfight going on top -> Vikings push hard -> Team fight ends -> Middle lane Viking doesn't get pulled back. Wrong decision to play Vikings that late in the day Imo. That being said. It is nice to see that many games now at live events ... but they cramp them so much in one goes that you really notice extreme fatigue late in the day.
