No, seriously..
I was going for Blink Stalkers/Disruptors.
Any time I try to engage he spams Corrosive Bile at me and I need to move back. So I can't ever really engage him.
I keep getting good disruptor hits but they're so far in between that they're not enough for me to be able to engage with the rest of my army.
By the time I have enough disruptors to be able to do meaningful damage, he's got like 6 Ultras on the field.
Basically, Corrosive bile with THAT many Ravagers means I cant ever fight him.....
Please note that this is in a real game not a unit tester... if I try to get Carriers or whatever he just attacks my base and kills me. Suggestions like Carriers/Tempests are not helpful.
In this game I went Nexus first and took an EXTREMELY greedy 3rd vs his 3 hatch play. So my econ was strong.
Also, I have whined about Ravagers plenty in other threads. Just looking for strategic help here pls, no balance discussion.

Have you tried chargelot archon? the ravagers have less hit points, still take the bonus damage from archons and are larger models so more zealots can attack them at once. Corrosive bile is not as effective as you are pushing into them.
Of course the next problem is if they back up into lurkers.

Right. Archons are super gas intensive and you run the risk of spending all that money simply to run into Lurkers.
That's why I didn't know what to do.
Zealots don't really play well with Disruptors either.

What about blinking forward? you should be a-ok if he didnt have lings to zone you out. I had some success against Ravagers by having templar out . Zealot+Archon seems like a good composition as well, because the ravagers are so big.

what if you mix in immortals, that way you are ready vs ultras too.

Post a replay, we can help you more. While I haven't faced that specific composition, I'd try getting a bunch of Void Rays, Immortals and Colossus supported by Stalkers. I don't really like Disruptors at all. Their damage is inconsistent, and I still prefer Colossus. Sentries probably aren't a bad idea either, you can force them to waste their shots on forcefields instead of your army.
By the way I saw you play in the NESC2 league, I used to play in that league, and plan to get back into SC2.

I played you at a LAN once. You beat me 2-1 but at the time I was like Plat and you were Masters. DTs hehe.
EDIT - will post the replay when I get home. I have no idea how to engage that kind of army.

Although the ravager has less hitpoints it is not armoured. 12 stalker shots to kill a roach 14 stalker shots to kill a ravager
3 immortal shots to kill a roach 7 immortal shots to kill a ravager
New plan, open with oracles, head to chargelot archon. Keep vision on the army, stasis ward part of it before charging in and use their own units to trap them. If there are lurkers, aim to keep revelation on them and stasis ward them first. Plan to head for chargelot/archon void ray and other air units late game.

I open oracle carrier void ray although I will take probe loss but I usually have enough carrier (2/3) to roll em over after. O I don't take a 3rd till I have my first carrier building.
