HomeStoryCup III - Preview
June 22nd, 2011 18:34 GMT
The Biggest Little Lan
The benevolent patron, TaKe. Take a minute, close your eyes and drift off into a blissful memory. The extraordinary LAN that defined the experience for you, the one that still holds a special place in your heart. Now, focusing on that special memory, imagine the the feint murmur of casters growing louder in your ear, turning into the shrieks of excitement. You hear player names: Idra, Huk, White-Ra. As things become more clear, you realize that 35 of the best players in the world have all wandered into your LAN. Open your eyes. They're here.
It may sound like just a faint dream, but Take is turning that dream into reality. We're not kidding; the wealthy aristocrat Take actually invited 35 Starcraft 2 progamers to his apartment (Video (German) for a giant four day LAN tournament (and when we say LAN, we mean they'll have an equal disadvantage if Battle.net wants to act up). Yes, we're jealous. Luckily, Take realizes that many of us would kill (and more) for the kind of opportunity he's getting, so he decided to stream it for all of us to avoid an angry riot.
Here's the rundown:
DurationJune 23rd - 26th Prize Pool5,000 Euros Player List+ Show Spoiler [Players] +FormatGroup Stage - 8x four player groups, top two players from each group advance to the next round. All matches are best of three. Double Elimination Tournament - The top sixteen players compete in a double elimination tournament. All matches are best of three, the winners' finals and losers' finals are best of five, and the grand finals is a best of seven. Resources: Homepage (German) - Official TeamLiquid Thread - HD Stream Order
Or as some might call it - DreamHack II : Some dude's apartment.
Since TL's very own Zatic will be there to harass progamers and get them drunk bring us on-the-ground coverage, what's left for us to do here? I'm not going to take you through group previews, player profiles, and all that stuff. 90% of the players were at DreamHack, and I don't think they changed too much in the last three days. So TL's Dreamhack Summer preview should suffice for figuring the players out and providing analysis (except the parts where we were wrong). Instead, I'm going to focus on some of the story lines that are unique to this tournament.
Can Huk Repeat? Some may say that winning Dreamhack propelled Huk into #1 non-Korean spot, but I beg to differ. The guy has spent more than half his career in Korea at this point. So when I think about Huk and his accomplishments at Dreamhack, I'm not thinking of him as some protector of foreign pride - He's another Korean come to show the world what's up. And when you consider the performances of Koreans in foreign tournaments so far, I'd be surprised if Huk finished outside of the top four. Two big tournaments wins and advancement to the next round of Code-S? This could easily become Huk's best two weeks as a progamer. Will MC continue to increase Korea's national wealth? As long as we're speaking of Koreans, how about the scariest one of them all? Let it be known that MC has only been eliminated from an international tournament by a non-Korean ONCE (Thorzain in TSL3). Basically, if a fellow Korean doesn't knock him out, he wins the tournament. Now, all due respect to the remaining Koreans Jinro and Huk, but MC's gotta be pretty damn relieved that Bomber, July, and Moon decided to skip this cup. So while I like Huk's chances to win this tournament, I like MC's even more. Who is the best foreigner? The obvious question, now that I've dismissed all your claims about HuK being a foreigner (I'm not even going to argue about it). Well, damn, this is a hard one! I thought it was Thorzain for a while, but two early stage knockouts from Shoutcraft invitational and DreamHack hurt his cause. How about Naniwa, with his consistently solid play and high tournament finishes? Or maybe it's someone not even in the cup, an online monster like Nerchio who has yet to reveal himself in larger competitions. In any case, with none of the foreigners actually winning in the non-Korean tournaments, it seems like the best foreigner spot is up for grabs. While another Korean victory would continue the chaos, any foreigner who wins this tournament would have an extremely strong case to be declared the best amongst his brethren. The Starcraft Pub - Video (German)It turns out that there's an Irish pub (in Germany, go figure) in the same building as Take's apartment, so he's arranged a unique viewing experience for any fans who want to show up and watch the games. Obviously, he can't let everyone into the apartment itself, but he's worked out a deal where the games will be shown on TVs at the pub! As someone who's watched Starcraft at venues across multiple continents, I can tell you that this is really up there in awesomeness. So head on over to: Limericks Irish Pub Wiedenhofstr. 60 47798 Krefeld, GermanyThat's not all. In a fortuitous turn for the fans, Take, for all his magnanimosity and love of e-Sports, lacks common sense. From what I gather, he is actively coaxing the gathered progamers to go hang out in the aforementioned pub to get a drink or nine after the games, and hang out with the fans. This is a terrible, terrible, wonderful idea. Hopefully, the stories from HomeStoryCup III will be the stuff of Starcraft legend. Drama32 progamers are gonna be chilling together at some guy's apartment. What could possibly go right? For God's sake, Idra's there. By this point, who hasn't Idra pissed off, and who doesn't enjoy pissing Idra off? Imagine this scene: After a particularly egregious loss to a cheese rush, Idra heads to the bathroom to wash his face with cold water. As he hunches over the sink, droplets of water falling off his face, he feels an arm coming to rest along his shoulders. Idra looks up. It's MC.
"Are you angry?"
Anyway, I don't know enough German to really tell you any more. Take it away Zatic, it's up to you!

I didn't know this Homestory cup existed! seems like extremely fun. Also i like the fact that it works like the 18th and 19th century art gatherings, with a noble patron who supported said art. In this case, SC2 is the art :D

Will this all be on the US server because the EU-Kor connection sucks so much?
|
i wish we had great tournies without koreans =(
|
I can't wait. This is gonna be at least as awesome as Dreamhack
|

|
it says 23-36. June
|
so hyped :D GO HSC III epicness!
|
This looks like it will be a pretty sick tournament. Any information on who will be casting?
|

As all gamers are at Takes place, all games will probably be played on EU-server.
|
Idra and MC in the same apartment without security guards?
|
On June 23 2011 03:41 DeltruS wrote: Will this all be on the US server because the EU-Kor connection sucks so much?
Obviously EU, since they will be all together in Take's apartment...
|
ROFLLL... "IdrA feels an arm on his shoulder... He looks up and there's MC... 'Are you angry??'"
Beautiful, almost as good as the forcefielded MLG booth!
Anyway, super excited, this LAN is so cool in so many ways!
|
Wish I had the money for an event like this
|

did you read anything? O_o all named players are going to be in takes apartment/krefeld/europe/earth... so why should they play exactly on us? :D
|
omg I am beyond pumped for this! I hope there is tons of drama and drunkenness, to go along with what will surely be great games!
|
Yay. At least this time IdrA has no group of death. Go Zerg!

Pretty stoked for this! But I wholeheartedly disagree with you about HuK and Jinro being considered Korean(I'm not even going to argue about it)
|
what the hell that is just around the corner, 20+ km AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
|
god this look delicious :d
|
go take this is amazing thanks for this unique tournament!
|
Mmm maybe i should drive down there for the irish pub and treat some players on a drink mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm wonder how far it is
looking forward to this!
|
Results and skill wise, HuK is the best non-Korean. I guess by your logic, he`s not the best foreigner, though.
|
should have ended the last part with mc saying to idra "u mad?"
|
Holy shit, its only 150km drive!!!! Thats close!

actually Take took pretty big depts to bring us this event so I hope a lot of people will pay the puny 3-4€ for the HD stream so he can do this again for us
|
I'm pretty sure I saw that image somewhere before DeviantART or something...
|
... this is just mind blowing. I would do anything, absolutely anything (other than pay for flight tickets and travel time and convincing my wife how video games are important and all that stuff) to be there for this event... Can somebody find a way to get me there.
On a positive note Take is the MAN!
HomeStory Cup Fighting!!!

Are you angry? :D
Haha, this will be an amazing tournament.

This. No matter where they live or practice they will always represent their home country. I think MC is going to win this one, Thorzain, Naniwa and Huk are the players that could threaten him.
|
Wahhh, I'm gonna be there on saturday - all day long. I hope the Pub contains enough Guinness as I'm gonna "travel" all the way from Stuttgart, and its actually my first offline event. I'm so excited for this. Hope to see some of you there, just to have a good time.
<3 this
|
This is pretty awesome, I guess he got quite a large apartment to hold that many pro gamers at once.
This is sick, will be watching the stream for sure. :D
Btw, great job on the writeup.
|
I'm blown away that this is happening. Mad respect to TaKe! And I live in Düsseldorf, so I'm definitely going to try to get over there for at least one day.
By the way, OP indicates that the tournament is running from the 23rd to the 36th of June. I'm very much in favor of some of the world's best SC2 players hanging out in my neck of the woods until June 36th comes along, but maybe you meant the 26th?
|
Any idea who this guy TaKe is ? Pretty hard to google with a name like that :s

Depts? Or Debts? If its the latter then is kind of a risky investment...at least TL made this post so more people will know about it and the chances that HD passes will be bought are higher but still...the guy must really like SC
GL HF to all the players and a big thank you to our host

Wow, that is really neat about being able to watch it in the pub. Just last night my roommate was telling me "man it would be genius to have some sort of bar or place where you can watch streamed matches".
|
awesome as allways take.
group E the death group ???
|
Why did my ancestors move from Germany!? That'd be so cool to see.
|
|
Haha, this is quite funny. One man's love for SC has given us all more entertainment. Want to see what will happen, wonder if the 35 invites will take this as serious as any other tournament. I guess the prize pool will fuel them to compete... or I hope so!
|
I lol'd at the mc bathroom scene
|
This sure will be alot of fun
|
Nice, grubby can defiantly take 2nd in his group!

200 m² ^^ - and btw - he is not some kind of aristocrate (for those who took the nice article by word) just aa ESL-caster who's enjoying his job and found great sponsores + private investment from his job @ esl.
For those who didnt' -> watch some parts of HSC 1&2 to get the feeling for the most awesome events ever ^^
|
Already bought the pass, can't wait :D
|
|
Thanks for the liquipedia link, for some reason searching "take" on liquipedia doesn't yield any results... case sensitive i guess...
|
Hahaha, this should be awesome!
Liquid'Tyler fighting!!!

Predictions, anyone?
I'm thinking,
Group A: Nightend + SaSe: Sase's been playing well lately, and Nightend is generally solid. Jinro has been struggling, and MoMan seems a little out of his league.
Group B: Thorzain + HasuObs: TSL3 champion still sounds good to me, especially in this group. Of the rest, I suppose I just see Hasu as the least likely to screw up.
Group C: IdrA + ClouD: Idra is something of a no-brainer, while I am giving cloud the nod not for being especially good, necessarily, but because his competition isn't very impressive.
Group D: Ret + Socke: Both were looking good at Dreamhack, and while Adel and Jimpo are both GOOD, neither of them are particularly scary.
Group E: MC + DeMuslim: MC is MC. Aside from that, DeMuslim hasn't really been on the top of his game since his injury, but XlorD is not really top-tier, and Tyler... I want to believe, but...
Group F: Huk + Stephano: Can't expect Huk to bomb out of this middling group after winning dreamhack. Otherwise, Stephano just... well honestly, he has the best record of the other three, so
Group G: Naniwa + Dimaga: Bischu and Tarson are good. Naniwa and Dimaga are great. It's not a sure thing but, I'd say they're obvious favourites.
Group H: WhiteRa + White Ra: Special tactics will win him both first and second place in this group.
Well that was fun!
|
Hahaha, oh my, Waxangel never fails to deliver :D:D ♥♥
|
Careful guys, because with the pub (and demuslim ) + IdrA and Huk/MC when you say fighting, it might actually be Fighting

will there be vods? if not, what time does the stream go up

it's more fun to pretend that he's Baron Take von Esports and he's entertaining his costly hobby with his vast fortune.

The art at the top says 23-36 June. I assuming since later on in the post the dates are the 23-26 I'm assuming its just a typo. Didnt see anyone else mention it yet.

Are really all the players gonna be present? In the past there where always some player playing from home. This is going to be so awesome and sad at the same time, because beeing there in person would be just too much epicness.

This is going to be legendary. Premium pass bought!

going to krefeld tomorrow, going to leave the pub sunday night/monday morning.
best plan i ever had.

awwwww yeah i cannot wait for it to see all the players hanging out in the pub and grab a beer with them! :D take you're the man for making this happen again! thank you sooooooo much <3

I dont remember (or know) the exact numbers, but it was something like the whole thing (with new apartment, renovation, equip...) put him 20k € in debt (or it was "only" 16k. pretty sure it's one of those 2)
Edited: Checked some logs (from chat with friends) - 50k invested. 25k savings. 20k loaned.

This tournament will be SO sick :O
I wish i could get drunk in the pub and scream at the players when they are standing at the windows :D
And i would scream nice things.
Also can i request Idra and Rotterdam cast a PvZ, would be the most whiny thing in all of SC2 history ^^

Very exciting :D
It turns out that there's an Irish pub (in Germany, go figure)

I am kind of sad we dont have any amazing zergs here in this tournament. Idra wont make it, he just thinks he will autolose vs good protosses. He is amazing, but if he gets thrown off his game, he loses, this would extend to his mental state also.
Dimaga can make it if he has a good day, all the time, and dont choke and get scared like vs Socke in DH.

Holy shit that is insanely cool.
35 absolute top players playing a tournament in some guys apartment. Can it get any more awesomemer?
Take must have an absolutely huge apartment in order for this to work and after watching that vid it turns out that yes, he has. Big props to Take for arranging this. I'll definitely be watching. Let's just hope that those drunken progamers don't trash the place.
Oh, and also it's really cool and kinda surprising that so many top players have actually accepted the invitation and traveled there so big thanks for the players as well.
|
So much envy at TaKe -- it must be awesome, fulfilling your dream of having all the best players from across Europe and more just chilling at his pad to have fun and play a big weekend event for the THIRD TIME. Sounds like soooooo much fun.

Alternate Ending:
After a particularly egregious loss to a cheese rush, Idra heads to the bathroom to wash his face with cold water. Dario Wünsch is dressed as a Hula-girl and is waving a giant leaf to the Barons great pleasure and comfort. In the meantime, Hayder, dressed in the same manner, is feeding the Baron with delicious grapes in various colours.
Baron Take von Esports: "Wave faster Dario!" Dario: "Yes, Baron" Baron Take von Esports: "I want to laugh, where is my Jesters?" *claps his hands loudly*
Two Jesters walks in, their uniforms are the same but with different colors, one green and one purple. MC's hat is decorated with 3 forcefields hanging down to his shoulders, while Idra's hat is not decorated at all but seems to be too small for his head.
Baron Take von Esports: "Make me laugh!" MC: "So, me and Idra walk into a bar, oh wait, he can't, I forcefielded the door!" Baron Take von Esports: *Frowns* Idra: "I hate protoss" Baron Take laughs while swallowing another delicious grape.

holy amazing sauce. I mean, i have never heard of this guy or this tournament, but hot dang, this is like the coolest news ever. So sick that all these great players will be there, even better that they will all be hanging out together. How big is this guys apparment??
|
So who's casting this ? I'd pay for HD if it was something like demuslim+rotterdam as is the standard (is it still?) on ESL TV but I have a terrible feeling this is going to be casted in german only. Please prove me wrong.

I just hope it wont be commentated in that bloody German language... :D

This cup sounds awesome! First thing I imagined when I read about this cup was a TaKe's house. I bet it huge and mansionlike ;O

Wow this sounds awesome, crazy awesome!

The second Homestory Cup was in English so I suppose this wouldn't change

Very nice article! I am sure it will be the best tournement this year! I saw the location, how Take built everything up and I know him from his active Warcraft 3 times. This guy rocks!

Best... tournament... ever...

Huk is Korean? Just no, no. With OP's logic it's like saying that Dirk Nowitzki is not one of the best European players in NBA. With OP's logic he's American.
|
zatic i want the best coverage ever including LOTS of interviews!!! :D
|
Looking forward to this, already bought premium. Is there a (tentative?) schedule available yet? I'll be traveling until 5PM on Friday, so it'd be nice to know when the games start and how long they'll be playing.
The game casted by Dimaga + Haypro from HSC 2 is still one of the funniest SC2 casts around!
|
This Irish pub thing looks absolutely amazing! Watching some Starcraft with friends while drinking a good beer? Coolest thing in the world!
Other than that, sick line-up, games should be good! I'm gonna go with a safe bet and say MC, HuK or IdrA take it but I would love to see ToD do well.
|
if you want to know more about take, his home and the homestory cup then you should realy watch this two videos

Everyone should get a HD pass. Just to support Take - a nerd like you and me with a dream!

So glad its not in some nerds poor moms basement. Dunno if she could handle so much geekiness at once. TaKe on the other hand is well suited and I'm sure this will go off without a hitch. Very cool.

Nowitzki still plays a more European style of basketball, whereas HuK's style has gone from foreign (NA/EU basically all play similar styles imo) to Korean, and he has developed intensely since going to Korea.

Still it's all about where were u born. Like it's in NBA U just don't start calling people Korean because they are training there.
"The NBA defines an "international player" as a player who was born outside the United States."

Giyom, Rek, Leg, Elky were all always considered foreigners, regardless of how well a lot of them could speak Korean/time they lived there. Calling Huk Korean is silly if we go by BW standards, which is what gave us the term foreigner in the first place. Either way decent writeup, really wasn't expecting one.

32 progamers are gonna be chilling together at some guy's apartment. What could possibly go right? For God's sake, Idra's there. By this point, who hasn't Idra pissed off, and who doesn't enjoy pissing Idra off? Imagine this scene:
After a particularly egregious loss to a cheese rush, Idra heads to the bathroom to wash his face with cold water. As he hunches over the sink, droplets of water falling off his face, he feels an arm coming to rest along his shoulders. Idra looks up. It's MC.

It's all about your nationality and not where you live and practice. That's how every other sport works and how BW worked and it's how SC2 should work. Just imagine someone who doesn't know much about Starcraft and he/she visits TL and reads the OP and it says that Huk and Jinro are korean...It might get a little confusing...

Awesome tournament.
OP: Your logic on Huk being a Korean is just terrible. People theorized that Koreans are genetically superior when it comes to the skillsets needed to succeed at Starcraft (multitasking and apm foremost). Huk proves this is not the case. What his success combined with the dominance of the Korean pro's does prove is that Korean training > 'foreigner' training. But this isn't exactly news.

Just got here. Have to say this place is so awesome. Dream apartment for any self respecting Starcraft nerd. I guess it's fix that Take and Rotterdam will cast, besides that every one of the 32 players who would like to cast, can cast. Take usually asks player to cast (it totally adds to the feeling of the cup)

As far as i know, Take isn't very wealthy at all. This is a big misunderstanding. It was already mentioned, that he took almost all of his own money (25k €) in addition to raising a credit (it was something like 20k €), in order to be able to finance this project. Also his employer, the ESL, financed some of it too and part of the deal between the ESL and Take is, that the ESL will "rent" his appartment for future Events, so Take can get the money he spent back over time...
Edit: You can buy the HD Pass at http://tv.esl.eu/de/order/?utm_campaign=ifngm&killcache=true

IdrA and MC going to tear it up. I hope HuK does ok too, but as of now I'm not convinced he's actually the best right now. ^^
|
So what player were invited and did not attend eventually?
|
So Huk is now Korean because he has been there a while. You said Naniwa or Thorzain might be the best foreigner. But they are going to Korea and by your logic will magically turn Korean and thus won't count either. Soon everyone who has set foot in Korea will be considered Korean in your eyes. How about you stick to using the real definitions of words so Korean makes someone who has Korean citizenship and leave the thinking to the big boys.

Guy stop complaining about HuK mentioned as "korean". You probably have to admit, that HuK counts as "korean" practise-wise, because he lives in korea for a long time now. Thats the whole intention of the OP.

If HuK's a 'korean', isn't IdrA also? He only left Korea recently, and easily spent half his time as a sc2 progamer in Korea.

The point is, it doesn't really matter. He is a Canadian by birth, practices on the Korean server with a Korean pro team. A rose by any other name is just as sweet.

It turns out that there's an Irish pub (in Germany, go figure) in the same building as Take's apartment, so he's arranged a unique viewing experience for any fans who want to show up and watch the games. Obviously, he can't let everyone into the apartment itself, but he's worked out a deal where the games will be shown on TVs at the pub! As someone who's watched Starcraft at venues across multiple continents, I can tell you that this is really up there in awesomeness. So head on over to:
Limericks Irish Pub Wiedenhofstr. 60 47798 Krefeld, Germany
That's not all.
Best thing ever! I wish I was in Germany.

Why is Takes homepage in German? :/ English is the language everyone uses in western esports and germans speak english so I don´t understand why he would limit himself with a german homepage.
Will all the streams be in german aswell?
|
The whole event will be streamed in english! Take posts on TL for english viewers
|
The whole tournament will be streamed in English. You can also expect some pros to cast some of the games. I'm looking forward to see MC cast again.
|
I wanna give a short recap of what I know so far:
1. Everything will be broadcasted in english 2. Casters: Rotterdam, Take, TLO, various players (I know that HasuObs seemed to enjoy casting a lot during the first two editions, and he did an excellent job imho) 3. Free low quality Stream and Premium Stream available, Premium Stream accessible by purchasing an HD Pass or having ESL TV Premium subscription (events are included, but you can of course still by the HD pass if you want to support Take and this event, at least that's what I did)
Homepage of ESL TV / Streams will be there tomorrow, link to HD Pass there as well
Homepage of TakeTV
I saw some people asking for these Infos, so I hope it's useful for some people here.
It'll start tomorrow at 12:00 local time (CEST).
I'm so looking forward to this... The coming 4 days are blocked.
Thx Take for all that work and effort!

Wow I hadn't even heard of this tournament until now. Pretty damn impressive lineup considering the prizepool is 'only' 5000 euros.
My group predictions
A: Sase, Jinro (If Jinro doesn't make it out of this group then it's confirmed 100% that he is no longer an elite player. I hope he does well) B: Thorzain, Hasuobs C: Idra, Grubby D: Ret, Socke E: MC, Tyler F: Huk, Stephano G: Naniwa, Dimaga H: White-ra, Darkforce

from what I hear none of the players are actually confirmed to cast, but it's likely?

yeah, it's pretty much guaranteed that many players are going to cast. In the last two cups they just sat down, casted a game or two and had a beer meanwhile... I think almost every player at HSC 2 made at least one or two casts. Peer pressure I guess, so I don't think that'll change, since it's adds a lot to the awesomeness of the Homestory Cups.

From what I've heard there will be one stream with the casted games and the other one will show webcames that are installed in nearly every room. And there will be mTws Naruto interviewing the players, you can suggest questions here

Ah, if only I was a rich aristocrat.

Actually you are supporting the implication of calling him a Korean. If it was genetics it wouldn't make sense at all to say he is Korean.

Just want to inform you guys that some stream is already online: The TakeTV HSC Spycam
There you can see right now idra and tarson (does look like him) playing and Delphi setting up his gear.
So it looks like we can watch on this stream the player and chill area.

In Firefox 4 it is one of the options to delete when you chosse to clear your latest history, logfiles, chronic... dunno how it's called in english in german it is "Neueste Chronik löschen" and then just select "Everything, all, or something of that sort" (in german "Alles") in the dropdown menu on top of the appearing window and check "cache" in the options where you can select what to delete.

Shouldn't it be GMT +1 (UTC+1) since it's CEST in Germany? But maybe GMT does not have summer time, so in that case, i'd take everything back.
Let's agree on: It should start by the next full hour (in 22min), whichever that may be in your respective timezone.

?!?! What's over?! The HD stream is offline indeed and not a single game has started yet and won't start unless the streams are up and runnging...

to me this tournament seems a little bit "made on ones knees" [it's an unfortunate translation from a say in my language, and it is actually non-sexual]. ESL sent the mail at 2 AM and because of this seems poorly promoted and poorly managed and feels like a last minute made event.
i am not trying to take anything from organizers, i can totally understand how difficult it is from logistics and management point of view.
what i am actually trying to say is: really good players but poor promotion and the technical difficulties, which are unavoidable to some degree, take away from the viewing pleasure and experience.

One would hope so... But you can never be sure these days. You should view the comments on some community pages that involve CS... They capslock and go aggressive for lesser reasons than a 100mins delay...

I agree with you. The promotion on the international level could definetly have been better. But in the german scene it was promoted extremely well and you could see every little step of the preparation on youtube etc.

premium stream up (at the moment at least)

why does the standard stream don't work?

at this point its getting frustrating because i wok up at 3 in the morning to watch this and now they are 2 hours late

@ Tal0n: That sux, i know the feeling (or a similar one), i often stayed up till 1-4am to watch NHL and then the stream wouldn't work -.-
Has anyone else had sound for some seconds on the lq stream a few mins ago?
|
Well on premium the show has started... Take and Rotterdam talking etc.
|
I feel like the most annoying thing is that they don't tell us what the problem is and what they are trying to do to fix it. But just waiting and refreshing the site every once in a while and getting no updates is soooo frustrating.
|
So the games are broadcast on the free stream, right?
|
@hrough: no sound here
has anyone an idea why this doesn't work?

This sounds soooo great! If it wasen't a time of celebration in Denmark today, i would definitely see it
|
I heard that the premium stream is accessible for free at the moment (but I can't confirm that, since I have premium anyway)...
Maybe just try it.
|
the refresh button from inside the Owned ui made it work for me (black before)

Premium stream says you need to buy it. Regular stream not working.

1. try refresh in the own3d ui, next to play button (multiple times if necessary) 2. try premium, even if you didn't buy hd pass 3. if it still doesn't work, disable adblock and clear browser cache and try 1 and 2 again
everything seems to be up now (according to german chatroom)

But perhaps replace Rotterdamn...

|
pretty unique atmosphere...
castingduos:
whitera with mc whitera with dimaga mc with idra ^^ (that would be pretty awesome) huk with mc naruto with dimaga tarson with naruto tyler with mc idra with dimaga hasu with naruto
|
I love this tournament, it's a really laid back less serious tournament where the gamers just have fun. The casting is both entertaining and educating, but more entertaining and fun because the casters are all wasted as with half of the gamers there. It is such a good tournament and I hope TaKe continues the HomeStory Cups, and hopefully other aristocrats and people host such similar tournaments. This is my favorite tournament thus far in esports
