With impressive victories over both gosugamers and sc2gg , Teamliquid reaffirmed its status as the strongest community site in the foreign scene. With few worthy opponents remaining, Teamliquid went on a hunt to seek out the greatest possible opponents possible. Finally, after weeks of waiting, I am pleased to announce that we have a worthy opponent - the great Korean replay site YGOSU aka ygclan.
For those you who are unfamiliar with YGOSU, they are one of the premier replays sites on the net. They have a vast selection of the very best replays you can find as well as supporting a thriving community that, like Teamliquid, celebrates the beauty of Starcraft. In many ways are our two sites similar; they have the YGOSU Database, we have TLPD, they have ygclan, we have Liquid` and so on. Indeed, ygosu is probably the most similar Korean site to Teamliquid.
Notable memebrs of [yG] include the progamers XellOs and Canata.
At Blizzcon we had the opportunity to discuss a number things with YGOSU, and were even interviewed by them between the Starcraft matches. It wasn't long before we were planning a showmatch between us to bridge the gap between the foreign scene and the Koreans. Unlike past inter-site brawls, this series will feature the best gamers from our respective communities. Teamliquid has selected its finest members to play and defend Teamliquid's honor and prove to the Koreans that TeamLiquid is no pushover.
Wait? What's going on exactly?
The showmatch rules are very simple, send your very best members from your community to play and defend your community's honor. There will be 7 matches played between TL and YG - all 7 will be played regardless of score. The showmatch will be played on the 6th of December at 4pm KST and will consist of five 1v1 games, one 2v2 and one 3v3. The order of the games is as follows.

The lineups will be announced moments before the event takes place - that means neither side will know where each player is playing. Both sides will have a roster confirmed before the event.
Okay, but who is playing for TeamLiquid
After a lengthy search, the following players will be fighting for TeamLiquid's honor and pride against YGOSU;
So will this be streamed? How can I watch?
As with all Teamliquid showmatches, this will be streamed with commentary. However due to the event being played at 2am EST the broadcast will unfortunately be delayed until 4pm EST the same day. This is to give our users (and casters) a decent hour in which to watch and enjoy these games. There will also be a Korean stream running live at 2am EST commentated on by ilovezil, LosingID8 and lilsusie. You are welcome to watch the Korean stream live, but please refrain from putting spoilers in obvious places for those who are waiting until the 4pm EST stream. There will also be a special announcement occurring sometime during the 4pm broadcast (which is not TSL2).
Get ready, and get hyped for 7 sick games between the best of the best
TL fighting!~
