Liquibition 27 - Expansion
February 2nd, 2009 23:31 GMT
Is there anyone who can stop IefNaij? Just under a month ago, IefNaij became tied with person who holds the most wins in a row in Liquibition as he laid waste to HoRRoR, 4-0. As it stands, JF boasts the impressive record of 16-5 in Liquibition and recently won the Stamina tournament. He has also earned himself a cool $300 so far and will be playing for another $100 this weekend against none other than F91. The complete history of Liquibition can be found in the spoiler below.

Special Liquibitions Xmas Special - Twisted 4-3 Drone December 28, 2008 For those of you who don't know who F91 is, he is one of the top Zerg players outside of Korea, and arguably the best Zerg in China. In the recent IEF he went 1-2 against Stork and boasts an impressive tournament record. He made it to the Ro16 in Stamina where he narrowly lost out to CastrO, 1-2. On top of that he is a fan favorite and always produces fun and entertaining games. He recently joined up with the ridiculously strong Fnatic. squad and took part in the 6-0 beat down of the now disbanded MYM team, where he took out Dreiven 2-1. Without doubt, F91 will test IefNaij to his limit.
And what about IefNaij? He is the pride of Canada, the resident TSL champion, winner of Stamina and on track to win his fifth straight Liquibition match. He has slaughtered every single opponent we have sent his way showcasing his brilliant play on the way. As Artosis said in Liquibition #26, whenever there's money on the line, he steps up his game to a whole new level and becomes a near unbeatable force. After he slaughtered HoRRor many of you called for this matchup - and we have answered your call.
The players have decided upon the first six maps as per usual, and it is up to you to pick the final map. The poll for that will be up shortly. IefNaij chose Andromeda, Destination and Sin Chupung-Ryeong. F91, on the other hand, chose Rush Hour 3, Blue Storm 1.2 and Andromeda. That means the map list for the first six games is as follows;
So who will it be? IefNaij or F91? You can find out this Saturday at 11am EST. That is, February 7, at 11am EST, 5pm CET, February 8, at 12am for China, 1am KST. Yes that's a lot of time zones, but hopefully it means that you will not miss this event, because if you do, Manifesto7 will personally come to your house and devour your soul.

I believe lefNaij take another set AND the record
Nice, been waiting for this.
I really don't know. F91 is really gosu. This is going to be probably the best Liquibition yet, IMO, as far as 'skill' is concerned. Really like the maps too, Sin Chupung-Reyung ftw :>
yeah f91!
Break the JF revolution.
Finally, a challenge for JF.

Oh wow, I am really stoked for this. Hopefully F91's style can produce some interesting games! Thanks, Plexa!
Do we know who's casting yet? Chill or Artosis would be pretty sexy.

Man, this will be an epic Liquibition, no doubt. 2 entertaining players to watch, and I really think F91 can break JF's ruling line if he is on top of his game.
I don't know if anyone short of Mondi can stop JF right now... but if there is a Zerg who can, it would be F91. gogo zerg fighting!

I kinda want F91 to win just for a change of scenery. I'm torn because I want Mondragon to be the one to dethrone Iefnaij but if F91 is the one to do oh well.

good matchup! Hopefully not so one-sided like last time. F91 Fighting!
Please, PLEASE! No delays this time.
I realize it's a dick thing to say because it's a lot of work getting the stream up and running, but I've been telling friends about it, and they weren't impressed during the last Liquibition.
I'm trying to expand our audience! Dammit!
God, this is going to be fun to watch though. Who will commentate?
in the history it should say 2009 in horrors game
JianFei five consecutive wins =D
Sounds great, hopefully it will run better than JF vs Horror .
Btw: JF for the win... The only guy i want to win vs JF is Mondragon...

Woot. JF is finally gonna be taken down.
On a side note, Liquibition #26 (IefNaij/HoRRoR) was in 2009 and the stream won't start until 11:15 AM EST
go F91 Naji needs to lose =]
hard one for JF
I'll root for F91! GOGOGO 2. best foreigner Zerg! ;-)
Saturday at 11am EST. That is, February 8, at 11am EST
Saturday is the 7th, Sunday is the 8th. So... is this happening on Saturday or Sunday?
go JF! Destroy the chinese!! XDD
I will miss this event on purpose, if it means Manifesto comes to my place ^^
F91, is arguably the best non-korean zerg I would say. No doubt that he is the best chinese one.
Ok so I'll probably come like about 6PM CET, because that's the most probable start. This'll be a great, greeeaaat match up, and I think they'll play at least 5 games, and I hope, of course, for 7.
Don't you mean SUNDAY, not saturday, February 8th ?? I'm confused.

Jianfei is Chinese lol.

are you gonna test out a new technology to see that it will work this time?
I remember when I first saw f91's wedding photos, he was the only zerg i ever supported.
Go Canada Go! Go Protoss Go!
This is tough, I have to pick JF or a Zerg... hmm.... Go JF!!!
I'll probably be rooting for F91 just for a change of pace, and so we can see some ZvTs in the future. I think this will be fairly close given the player's abilities.

Playing sc makes more $$$ than the average wage in China by a pretty large margin.
Wow, me and JF are both Fujianese! Sweet :D Good luck hope for some good games
Will be there to support JF, once again.

They make money!? I thought their was no way considering the lack of interest in Starcraft in China. Where do they get the money? I believe the PGL was pretty much empty.
F91 isn't the tiptop level as a korean but still tho really awsome It will be chinese vs chinese sience JF is actually chinese if I'm not misstaking.
This should be awesome. Both are top notch foreigners

Yea srsly, let's have a less epic countdown this time though
I can't bare to see another puppy killed because of technical difficulties
