Always liked that format from Wc3 clanfights. There's still a lot of coaching involved, although it does open up to sniping a lot more.

As it is the normal Bo5 w/race rules is a great format to determine which teams are the best and most well-rounded, but after a couple of rounds of it WL is a great way to mix it up for just a round. So I voted that I like the 'Traditional Format' the most, even though they both have their pros and cons and I believe they both have a place in PL.

The winner's format feels more like a showmatch, and like others are saying, it feels less 'balanced' in terms of ranking the teams. They will switch back. This season's PL consists of 5 rounds. the first two wounds were regular PL style, the current (third) round is WL, round 4 and 5 will be regular PL style again.

It will probably get tiresome. It would be nice if they switched it up every round, as some others have suggested

In the traditional format, I was able to take a break from studying/homework/whatever and tune in approximately when my favorites were playing, enjoy their games, and then go back to work. It became impossible for me to do that yesterday since I would basically have to watch the entirety of the event...and possibly not even see who I wanted to see! Still, I voted Winners League, and I thought it was a nice change from the old routine, and as many others said before, it would be nice to have a mix of the two.

But the question is which do I prefer, and the answer for me is the traditional. WL certainly can be fun to watch, but I like to see all the matchups and get hyped for the event, and I can study all the matchups and whatnot. Also I like how in the traditional format the teams are forced to use all the races. But any format gets tiresome after you see it all the time. I wonder if all these people will still vote WL after months of matches as opposed to just a week of them. Probably about 50-50.

Luxury for KTF, Leta for OGN It is nice to watch it for now but I will definitely look forward back to the 'old' proleague. Still I have voted winners league

I think I'm biased though, since almost every time I watch PL, I'm always eager to see the 4th set, and it ends 3-0

Like... 1 player may only play 2 games in a row. Yes no allkill excitment but that way teams with *deep* lineups would have a better chance of doing good whiteout hurting the *big* names to much.

Also, not knowing who could come out next for the teams after a loss is pretty exciting! But this way a "bad" team could get carried by a dominant player, so it is not really rating the team as a whole, like the the traditional PL did.

It does bring more escitement to things like Lecaf vs ACE, since there will be a possible all Kill. I Really like the old proleague but this one is good too. I dont know...

Anytime destroy Samsung KHAN, finishing with a rape of FBH Seriously, I think WL favors the talented players over the workaholics.who practice a map (and sometimes player) dependant BO 15H/day for 1 week. Because apart from dedicated snipers (who can provide exciting upsets, btw), the players have to practice on several maps and against all races. And I think a lot of leeser known players can get air time too, as snipers or as match beginners, as the coaches (understandably) seem reluctant to send their Ace(s) straight away.

I thought a mix would be good but for me I think I prefer the Trad prolegue, as a vod watcher I'm finding it impossible to watch without spoiling the result of every game by reading the filename of the next match.

It's the stuff of legends. The argument USED to be well if team A has player X he'll stomp the other teams. Argument against that is that the player talent pool has increased sufficiently that no one player has been able to dominate for an extended period of time or for a long enough streak. If they can .. well... read my first sentence. Legends will be made!

Saving Bisu as a streak breaker is like sending him out to only one map, but with more drama. Sending him out early means good odds to see even more Bisu. I see no downside?

The nevake videos now just read Team A vs Team B Set N, except for the first set, since you know which players are playing anyways.

WL takes pressure off the coaches and puts it all on the best players.

In one of the special events (STX Cup maybe?) the winner stayed and the loser's team could bring up the 2v2 if they wanted, after which both teams sent out new players. Teams rarely used it, and it pretty much killed the momentum/tension when they did, so I'm not a fan. It was especially bad when the 2v2 was the deciding game, ugh. A separate 2v2 league would be nice though.
