I won't be able to finish until after release as the old units such as goliaths won't be available until then. I'm going to start with the original stats but will balance as needed. I just have a few problems and questions that are best answered by the community.
I also plan on making small = light and large = armored, but what do I do with medium units such as the old hydralisk? A lot of old units do partial damage to medium units, and how would new units handle it?
What map do I make it on? I have full access to all of the 1 player maps, and would prefer that. I want to do it on a 4 position map to give better flexibility for 1v1s 2v2s FFA, etc. I can use a player made map, but I won't use without permission from maker and I'll need a good reason. Of course I would give credit for the map design. I was thinking either Lost Temple since it crosses SC1 and SC2 or Metalopolis for the balanced design of the map. I think I'm only going to get 1 shot at this UMS map so I want to make it a good one unless someone knows how to change the map and keep the data/trigger settings.
How do the attack cool down numbers in the following table compare in seconds on normal speed?
