On small maps the proxy reaper / marauder with factory at home producing cyclones (bunker at their 2nd base and if they don’t take one, contain them while you build cloack banshee at home or proxied to keep eco advantage) On other maps sometimes the double cyclone proxy, or expand proxy star port 4 hellions drop build. If I don’t wanna proxy I usually drop mines after an expo.

I've always had trouble wrapping my head around the match up. zealots and adepts are so strong At least in masters where the proxy meta is rampant I have found that evrey game it's a very strong move to proxy using one of the following variations: 1.proxy 1 rax reaper, 1 factory at home or proxied into proxy or in base cloak banshee. 2.proxy reactor factory cyclone Allin 3. Proxy hellion drop 4.proxy mine drop 5.proxy cyclone maurader 6.proxy 3 rax reins 7. Proxy 2 rax reaper (not highly viable but possible on maps with abusive cliffs) 8. Proxy 1-1-1 push (agian very cheesy) 9. Proxy 1 rax 1 factory feigned pressure into normal macro 10. Proxy cyclone drop. There are also powerful mind games you can exploit right now due to the amount of proxy builds and the extreme response Protoss use to hold them (often they go 2 gate sometimes before expo, sometimes 2 gate with a robo before expo) I like to just proxy a rax near my base sometimes take 2 gas but only mine with 1 scv in one geyser and 2 in the other than try to hide that I'm taking an expo from opponents probe and proceed to play a normal macro game with toss in an awkward spot.

https://drop.sc/replay/8748410 for the proxy marauder / cyclone from home build https://drop.sc/replay/8748411 for the proxy 1_1_1 build As for double cyclone I haven't pulled it off successfully recently so no replay available But the build is basically the same as in TvT

1st: You need to scout it. You should always be building a wall at the ramp, so he can't sneak in a pylon in your main. Many protosses are building the first pylon in your natural or on the wall to your main. 2nd: Killing the probe is really useful, if the Toss is careless, you can try and surround it with your workers. It is also often good having one SCV following his probe. However often Protoss sends a second probe aswell. 3rd: Try to kill the first pylons and cannons with 3-4 workers per building. I would prioritize cannons, but if he builds only one pylon you should snipe it so the cannons are unpowered. 4th: If he builds the cannons on the low ground of your natural, you should prioritize killing any structures on the high ground and denying him any vision. At that point you should have your first reaper or marines out, so kill any probe that tries to come up the ramp. 5th: If a cannon finishes don't try to fight it. Marines and workers will just die. Try to keep distance, build additional Barracks, make sure that you don't get supply blocked. Use your marines to hinder the protoss from making more buildings. You can also build bunkers to get more range, if you are in trouble. 6th: If he tries to contain you, build siege tanks. You can tech to starport and build a banshee or a drop ship or liberator. Basically anything that you can use to sneak past the protoss, go to his base and kill his probes in return.

A lot of the time pro terrans will either be greedier than this or more aggressive than this. But if you want a ladder build to play every TvP this is solid.

I can recommend this build order, which is kind of a classic and in my opinion very solid: https://terrancraft.com/2018/07/03/2-1-1-for-each-match-up/ (see the 2nd build order against protoss).

I believe upgrades are very important in TvP and Protoss often play a gateway heavy style with early upgrades nowadays, so you should also get upgrades as fast as possible.

I know that bio is good for TvP and 4M is best for TvZ, but currently TvT is my worst matchup.

I just started again after over a year and I find LotV quite different. I'm in P3 and wondering if I can just keep learning/relearning macro and viably hit Diamond+ going MM (or MMMM?) in each matchup. Or am I badly handycapping myself?
