Lol no basis?

Well, my thought is that Artosis has an "opinon" as to "how zerg should be played", and anyone who doesn't play that way - especially if he's being successful despite Artosis' unfriendly predictions (Kyrix, and Nestea before the season 2 final) - is instantly looked down on by Artosis. Which is kind of pathetic, to be frank. Of course he does that to P/T players as well (one base player gets the most hate from him, unless he's Boxer/Foxer/MC), which is annoying. Some of the tactics are definitely considered cheese (cannons, marine/scv, etc.), IMO. But not every strategy out of one-base is cheese/all-in. Heck you can even transition into mid-game after 4 gate.
lol he wasn't the biggest fan of Foxer when he was on SoTG and he also questioned a lot of stuff Boxer did in his series against Nestea.

Good games today. Boxer played very well. Respect Hyperdub for saying he would try and show macro games, and delivered.
Hongun played pretty well.
OgsTheWind played alright but it was a bit disappointing. He was really hesitant to expand after stopping pushes. And his scouting really hurt him the first game.

Rain is terran, Choya is protoss. It's just not Zerg, I think they are joking about cheesy players in general, you just haven't followed closely enough I've followed all GSL so far. Yeah and I'm aware that he does that to T/P players as well. But he does that in such a personal way to zergs, usually labeling them as all-in'er or cheeser. He even labeled nestea as ling/roache all-in'er in season 2 until he reached the final, and constantly tried to remind viewers how shitty he was when even I could see nestea was such a solid player compared to, say, zenio. I'm guessing it's because he plays Z. Inferiority complex, maybe?
if my memory serves me correctly, artosis actually praised nestea alot so idk what your talking about.

His attitude towards Nestea changed once Nestea was the only Z in Ro4. Prior to that point you hear plenty about ling/roach all-in and dismissive comments about Nestea. And Kyrix = cheeser to date even though I don't remember a single game where Kyrix initiated a cheese himself.

i do see your point. Artosis has just this smug/elitist personality about him. Remember John said he didn't have a good first impression of him. But that's just him. I'm sure he's a great guy when you get to know him.
About him belittling cheese, i attribute it to his passion for the game. He said himself he lives and breathes starcraft. He thinks the game should be played a different way. He probably knows a lot of these guys, he plays them on ladder so he knows what he's talking about. So when he sees cheese, he just have to call out or 'belittle as you say' the guy who did it. It's him and i do believe he should learn to stop doing it at least on air. Or at least adopt a neutral tone, unlike what you see now where you can clearly see the sarcasm and disdain.
Though methinks CHEESE is fine if you're playing for money!!!! lol

Does anyone know when are the offline up-down Code B qualifiers are? Thanks.

I have no idea where he gets the idea that Kyrix is a cheeser. He constantly belittles him for whatever reason since he beat HongUnPrime in GSL season 2. It seems like any zerg that initiates attack before 3 hatcheries or maxed is considered a cheeser by him. (He probably missed Kyrix v. ST_Ace series in season 2, where Kyrix beat Ace's zealot/cannon cheese and went onto crush him with 200 army) I consider Kyrix the foxer of zerg and there aren't many zergs that play like him. Yet, Artosis speak so highly of foxer, but Kyrix = cheeser. I wish he shut up with his biased, personal comments and concentrated more on actual games. yeah it's strange he went from "best zerg in the world" to "cheesing scum" :D And artosis don't like foxer I think btw. Kyrix is just an aggressive zerg, wich is refreshing I think, but in fact since season 2 he changed his style to a more conservative one iirc.

But, yeah, Artosis has definite opinions on different players, and he lets it show. Maybe he lets it show a little too much, but it's good to let it show a little.

Your opinion has been noted.
Mute the stream if you don't like it.

Boxer v. Hyperdub was mind-blowing.
It was awesome to see in the first place just because of how BW-esque it was. Great to see hugely macro games like that.
And if that wasn't enough, he comes out of nowhere with this mass orbital business. It should be interesting to see if that actually develops into something viable, or was only possible because of how far ahead he already was.

estee can't make it once again ?
edit: Guess he's still on his flight or resting from the flight. I will try to make a LR then since I don't have much work today.
edit2: Someone else posted LR thread before I could so I'm leaving it to him.

That's just the way Artosis is. Him and Idra have this silly idea that standard macro play is the best (and Really is better than Leta lol). As we've seen from Really, he's going nowhere fast and Idra hasn't come close to winning any GSLs. Artosis still gives credit where it's due though, praising Foxer for his insanely effective pressure builds and etc.

Hyperdub managing to win vs HogunPrime without cheesing was really impressive. He really deserved to go on to RO16. It didn't look quite that way after the first match, but looking back on it, he played very solid that match as well.
I feel that these BO3 vs two different opponents instead of one opponent helps you avoid unlucky draws/match-ups and keeps the matches super-exciting to watch. It takes a bit of time getting used to, but I prefer it a lot to the old RO64/RO32 that had quite a lot of boring, uninteresting matches.
I do mislike the observer/commentators being so much out of sync - it's more annoying than Tasteless observing the wrong spot. Another thing with the observer is that he doesn't seem to select relevant units so you can see how much health they have left, so no way of seeing if its a badly damage force that should be easy to clean up, or a healthy one that will be hard to take out.

Wow, Boxer and Hyperdub really proved that Terran can play a macro game against Zerg and Toss, and even make TvT entertaining. With the exception of Boxer vs TheWind and the first game of Hyperdub vs HongUn, I've only found TvT and ZvZ to be interesting because everything else is just about exploiting timings. Hopefully we see more of this kind of play.
