ESV TV and Blizzard Entertainment are proud to bring you the 2011 Chinese Blizzcon Qualifiers! 32 players will fight through an intense online qualifier where only 8 will advance to the LIVE qualifier LAN event in Shanghai, China!
|
I remade this thread so people could find the stream info, no need to punish the players for behind the scenes drama.
|
|
I am so confused? So Blizzard stopped you guys because you were associated with ICCUP. What is the problem with ESV?
|
Only few of the matches are casted, some additional casting can be good, what does Blizz think?

I can't get a straight answer. I spent most of the day talking to Blizz NA about this cast, and they were SUPER excited for it. Blizz NA claiming no knowledge (I fully believe them, Blizz NA has been GREAT!), I WILL keep digging but anything concrete might take a couple days.
But let's try and not derail this too much as there is a lot of finger pointing going on behind the scenes, so until everyone's finger is pointed one direction let's not pass judgement.
Also does anyone know how to get the actual English stream? I keep clicking the link and getting Chinese streams?
Edit: Just to be beyond 100% clear, I am pretty confident Blizz NA had nothing to do with this, and my contact in their e-sports department (Rob) is a REALLY cool guy (much <3 to him btw). He has been VERY helpful.

I can't get it to run in either firefox or chrome. Are you running IE?
|
IE is required for the stream and you need to install the plugin.
|
It's not compatible with Firefox or Chrome
|
Who's casting in english?
I can't get the stream to work. I went on the site in IE, installed the plugin, and it popped an error up while trying to load the stream saying NSIS Error: "Error writing temporary file. Make sure your temp folder is valid."

When I first heard about this I was pretty excited because I knew he would qualify and shock the world in the final Blizzcon.
I think the burden is on Lovecd now, that kid is sick good.
Edt: I'm not laggin anymore but getting microphone static. Anyone else?
Holy god how is Macsed winning this? He was pretty far behind 0_O!
Edit 2: Anyone have an updated brackets?

Doubt it. Plus the stream keeps giving out anyways. Staring at a black screen atm.

It's working for me but REALLY laggy and they are showing the Kerrigan cutscene. Seems to be clearing up a bit as I type this.
Edit: nm lagging again.

It's WoW arena next anyway.

Wtf? F91 0-3 in group stage? Infi not even reaching the group stage? As it stand, I think loner and lovett will go to Blizzcon

There's no way Zerg is dominant in China
|
Oh cool this should be the forge fe > +1 zealot timing > +2 blink 7 gate timing. I LOVE this build! Looks like it so far.
Edit: Nm that got messed up pretty bad

As long as Xigua makes it I'll be happy.

Hope Macsed can get a spot to Blizzcon too :D

Is Xiagua really as incredible as I seem to think he is based on what other people have said? And is he the favorite to win?

Xigua won? sick, that guys awesome. Looking forward to seeing how he stacks up with international competition ^^
|
Glad Xigua won. With Xiaot retiring I think Xigua is the only Chinese player who can compete against the SC2 elite.
|
FYI anyone who watched this stream, go to task manager, even if you've uninstalled ppap the streaming software you'll still see it running..... it uploads anything you've streamed to other users who are viewing the videos (apparently) so worth working out how to get rid of it completly.
|
These chinese players have got so strange names.
|
damn, looking like Naniwa might be the only protoss at blizzcon at this rate.
|
Is there a replay pack for the LAN finals anywhere? Can't find it on the Blizzcon website...
