Last Code A prelims, he was rooting for Hack so hard in the finals.
They casted maybe all of Superstar's games (I didn't get up early enough to know whether or not the first one was), albeit mostly in Korean, because he's pretty famous there and the only stream that was broadcasting the qualifiers was the English stream.

Yellow won his first match, but lost 2-1 against a protoss in the second match.

Almost every prediction/hope I had for the qualifiers was wrong aside from Hero making it through, but aside from Boxer and maybe Seal or Min not making it through to code A, the results weren't too disappointing.
2 T, 5 Z, 5 P - I can feel code A getting more racially balanced. Unless everyone from the up-and-downs who ends up in code A is a Terran. =P

Was hoping to see BoxeR & Yellow qualify.. Oh well! Still some great names in there.

jinro needs to be a beast again

5 Toss and 5 Zergs. I wish they just sell code A ticket separately for like $3 so I could watch it only. No need to watch TvT in code S lol

I am happy with the 5-5-2 race distribution. I wonder if the tournament brackets were set up in such a way so that Terrans take out each other in a lot of cases.

I am sure they weren't. But if they were if be happy with that too. I am so sick of watching tvt every other game!

i just noticed, does the liquipedia not cover the whole preliminaries? cus there's only bracket space for about 150 people
so does this mean there were like 2 more rounds before the brackets? (where players like cella must have lost in)

At the top, "12 groups, each with a maximum of 32 players" "Maximum number of players participating in the preliminaries: 576 ". I think the reason for not posting a full 32 player bracket was due to the amount of BYEs. This is the first time prelim brackets have been posted on Liquipedia with the help of John and Wolf, usually we just put up a table of the qualified players. It is possible to post full brackets if the information is available (example: MLG open brackets).

Man, I was watching on my ipod in bed last night and the "Konglish" casts were the greatest thing ever. Mr. Chae and the Geoshin were awesome. Felt like watching a BW cast

Poor Jinro. Loses 2-1 to the guy to goes 2-0 with the rest of the group to get Code A

Yeah, I was about to say that too. :<
He's the only guy who took a game off the winner of his group.

They helped this along by choosing P/Z-favored maps, or rather, no heavily T-favored maps were introduced.

John the Translator has said that several pro teams have approached Shinystar, but his parents won't allow him to join one. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/ShinyStar
God damn, your kid just made his 2nd Code A qualifier. Let him join a team already.

Haha Superstar and Curious qualifying, I wonder what Artosis thinks about that.

Dual sight according to TLPD is T favored. It was expeycted to see so many P qualifying seeing most of players that joined was P, but zerg had the smaller number of players entering and came out tied with protoss, quite good resultss for Z. Either way i guess gom is happy, no one seems to be enjoying only terrans, not even the terran fans.
