Then I thought further and think that it was reasonable. This is because I don't think MKP was meant to be Prime's Ace - rather, he was going to be their DRG sniper.
The match was lost when Nobelesse gained 3 victories - while he's an ok'ish player, he certainly wasn't of that caliber. Look at how BbongBong defeated him - he learnt the lessons from Terious - play defensively and stop his drops and you'll win, because Nobelesse's multi-tasking is not that stellar.
Even then, some blame should fall on MKP though - that 5-rax all-in was a tad ridiculous. When was the last time something like this succeeded? He should've just played standard. He crushed Bomber with it. It's not an allin it's a timing push build which can be transitionned out, the problem is that he made a really BAD decision which cost him the game, since you are supposed to push at the right timing. It's weird that such a thing happens to MarineKing, he is usually good at builds timing, but maybe he expected cloack or more banshee since it was gas first (pretty sure he knew it was gas first because he was able to see that there was only one marine, if there was 2 and only one chasing the scv it would have died by passing near the cliff but it didn't). It's really sad that it happened in a decisive game like this. I think that this 5 rax build is good against mech because it transitions into pure bio, Keen usually goes mech but maybe cuz it was metalopolis, he didn't so since he had upgrades that early MKP was fucked if he didnt push so he tried to gamble the win by sending scv, of course it didn't work. Plus he probably panicked after the successful banshee harass :/
MKP can play as an ace, he was VERY good in teamleague which weren't the GSTL, the ones before, so it's weird that he is playing relatively bad in GSTL.

whoa, at this point I think MKP is just trying to imitate everything yellow does... like I said in the liquibet, Prime will never win team league gold until he goes to the army.

It wasn't cheese until he realized he was too far behind. He literally could have ignored the banshee and killed keen, taken some scv losses, but then clean it up with the marine reinforcements. He literally waited just long enough for keen to get bunkers, stim, and combat shields. If anything he should have tried to find some other way to come back.

MKP loses to Keen?
Check wins and plays the most recommended game? Hurray :D
i wonder why they don't use HongUn, do they think he's just bad or what?
Edit:

Who won the most valuable player prize ?

I don´t get why people blame MKP so much for the loss of prime. Prime basically fed 2 Zergs to Nobelesse (who has an amazing TvZ) sent creator when the stakes were higher and he chocked...
BBB with the hero save and then..MKP when the stakes are even higher. They sent their most choke prone players into high pressure situations.

Considering that one of the zergs fed to Noblesse was the winner of the previous match and nearly won his matcvh and you have no supportive arguements for Creator choking unlike Marineking reveals your bias for MKP.

No it's not, it's pathetic. I could understand if he made one misclick that cost him the game, but MKP just threw up a hail mary hoping he would get lucky and just got owned. He lost because of a stupid decision and needs to just take the loss like a man. Emotional >>> robot player. If you cry, that means that you still care
Crying after each loss just makes you look like a cry baby. How many players cry after a loss? Not many that's for damn sure, but it doesn't mean they don't care or aren't passionate about what they do.

I would believe that if he didn't cry every single time. =/

You just answered your own question. It doesn't matter if you're prone to choking. It's his own damn fault for choking period.
If he had won that game and the next, probably would have been celebrated as the hero. But since he didn't he's feeling the wrath from some of his fans.

Dat crowd man.
Seriously sick audience today. Awesome games too. Kinda disappointed that MKP decided to all in that game, but still, MVP deserved the win, they played well.

Prime played well as well. When Check, Boobong and Creator lost it was obvious they had moments where they could've won as well in their matches and gave us matches worth watching.
Prime should look at what they accomplished after being in a terrible state before when the playoffs began.

awww~ im sorry marineking... its the curse of silver hanging like the sword of damocles
Well good job to MVP! they definitely have a team that is worthy of GSTL... just sad not Slayers here in finals to fight them
|
113 pages for this final is shameful lol...
and GSTL delivers, yet again. Congratulations MVP!

I would have like to seen MKP vs DRG ace match for sure!
