Where did you read that?

i put my bet on coLMVP, but i think its going to be pretty close :>
|
our teams have huge... rosters
|
Keep in mind these matches were played about a month ago. Because of this, they do not reflect the recent QIM split or Naniwa's transferral to QxG (despite the fact that the QIM roster shows him as a team member).

Quantic is gonna slap Col/MvP so hard its not even funny.

These games are indeed from just before the player transfer of Naniwa from coL to Quantic. Also, just to reiterate, Quantic IM even after parting ways, have agreed to finish out the Team Arena Challenge as one team. These games are less than one month old, btw. The farther we get along in this tournament, the more recent the replays are. With a different tournament in a different country every weekend for the past four weeks, this tournament has been a rewarding, yet challenging one to schedule.

I don't expect IM to field MVP/Nestea. They didnt even play in GSTL often times. Then IM isn't left with that many star players (Losira, Happy, Yonghwa), and I expect to see Fenix and foreigners from QxG as well. I think its pretty even.
|
This feels like most stacked teams yet, soo many good players omg. O_O
|
Gogogo quantic HWAITING! :D
|
This is going to be a good match, the first match between the Big 3 teams (QIM, Slayers, colMVP). Could go either way, but we already know that colMVP has no qualms about throwing in their big guns in Tails and Keen. Other than Sase, I do not think Quantic can put up much of a fight by themselves, and I am sure the IM coach realizes this too.
|
I'm feeling this will be the best match yet in this team league. Both are stacked with talent, and it's very unlikely that either will be all-killed.
|
naniwa better play in this one.

You realize he would be playing for Complexity, not Quantic?
imhappppppppppppppppppppppppppppy bout to all kill
|
I wonder if we'll see majority A-teamers. Definitely can't underestimate either team.
|
When you have Destiny, Naniwa, SaSe, Losira, NesTea, MVP, and Happy its pretty hard to lose lol
|
Makes me sad, seeing QxG and IM parting. Hopefully we'll see a cooperation between QxG + Startale soon and some other plan of the IM coach to get his player abroad.
But looking forward to more SaSe, that guy was a beast last time. :o

Not long until we air this series! Don't miss it around 8 hours from now. =P

i think Keen will get 1 or 2 wins :D
|
Mostly depends on if they use koreans and if so what ones, so it's hard to predict...QIM should win though.

Hello folks! Only two and a half hours to go before our cast!
We've got a daily giveaway again for tonight's cast, but there's a new giveaway on our Facebook for people who are into Diablo III: http://www.facebook.com/IGNProLeague?sk=app_121121694568521
It's Blizzard's official art book for Diablo III, and acts like an artifact from the game itself. Check it out if you're interested and it will help you keep up with all of IGNProLeague's doings in StarCraft 2!

Well since its team league.
+ Show Spoiler +QIM will take 4-0 lead then ColMVP sends DRG and he all kills everyone.
|
If IM weren't involved this would be easy to give to CoLMVP. Seeing as QiM is performing as one unit I'm sure they're the ones who came out with the W here.

I'd rather watch all these B-Team players. If QIM goes with their A-Team players than it will be a blowout. I hate how these teams have partnerships and we will actually never get to see a true clanwar between coL and QxG

I somewhat feel the same way. I would definitely rather see the actual team members play rather then their korean partners. However, if one team does decide to throw their allstars out to play, as the opposing team i would do the same to bolster my chances for victory.
My bets go out to QIM though, I think they will tear it up tonight!
|
Meh, could go either way. Depends on how many Koreans play for either side.

I wonder if we're gonna see any worker rushes today.

I'm glad some other people share the same opinion. I really think it's pathetic that a team doesn't trust in it's own players enough to where they pay another team to play matches for them.
|
I hope Col send Naniwa and IM did send out Nestea... That would be just epic. Ps Quantic have this in the bag
|
hey IPL, why not releasing starting players beforehand?
|
dting888 David Ting I heard in the hallway that the best player in @Starcraft will be playing tonight on @IGNProLeague. Casts will start at 5PM Pacific.
So they somehow got MVP to play?

has this clanwar alrdy been played a month ago? was naniwa in the team then.

So they somehow got MVP to play? That would be very surprising... IM rarely uses their top players in any team leagues (Nestea, MVP, Losira). They do have a few very good players besides these 3 though, so I still think QIM should take this.. But it should be a close match at the very least; MVP has some good players as well.

It's IM without MVP and Nestea (they never play teamleagues), the line-ups are more comparable than one may think

7 medivacs out for terran and still no AoE for protoss...not good

Finally some upgrades for tails but it's probably too late.

IMNestea was in the chat . . ..

IMNestea has left the game O.o. Edit: And DRG is next, maybe they use nestea to snipe DRG?

Waaay to late on those upgrades by Tails. I don't know why he waited so long when doing such a heavy gateway style.
DongRaeGu time though, coL.MVP not pulling any punches.

DRG will get sniped if he wins.
|
So DreamerTT>Tails>Sase>Liquid lol
|
hmmm...i think nestea may play this team league, he hasn't had a good gsl run in a few months so maybe this will be worthwhile to him. *fingers crossed*

thing is, after such disapointing runs at MLG, GSL, Blizzcon and everything, if Nestea comes out and gets asskicked by someone from colMVP team B it really is a bad spot for him lol

I dont think its THAT much of a delay with most stuff, they said in yesterdays cast that the next team arena games were being played literally hours before they were due to be casted and they might have to cast another game while they wait for them to finish etc
|
Pneumothorax + collapsed lung sucks.... hope sC gets better.
Air gets to the space around the lung, and thus since the pressure isn't less than the pressure inside the lung the lung will collapse instead of stay adhered outward.

Fuck that! Let's do it live!

Since the teams are playing in their team houses, streaming live open the possibility of cheating. Not saying the teams would cheat but it might be open to some accusations. I guess they can delay for like 5-10 minutes but that is the same as 1-2 hours anyways.

He scored 20-5 records beating tons of great players like VIBE, CatZ, Machine, TLO, Boxer, Select, Slush, etc
He also was brilliant in Blizzcon beating some of best players like BratOK, Naniwa, Sheth and even MVP in the first of best of 3

Good point, I recall there was some discussion surrounding Nestea's GSL run, basically that he had one of the easiest runs possible.

What about a player regarded as "the Emperor of Starcraft 1", who was in total slump for like more than1 year.
What about MMA scored 1-4 against zerg(which is best mu) who was seeded as first group and only needs 3 wins to win all. but finished as 8th in MLG Providence

What base are you insisting, Haypro is not a progamer who can compete havig a possiblity to beat some of the best players like NesTea, MVP. Haypro's maco and decision making was really aweseome vs them.
Moreover, progamers sometimes lose. Don't push them like "your total value as professionals gonna disappear if you ever lose to those who practice all time long!"
Well. Maybe you seem like being shocked when Ganzi, a code S player lost to Gatored, a code B player which is shouldn't be possible in your head and When Alicia lost to ToD in MLG ( back then he was in Code S )

I'm just going to post on this once because its rather offtopic
1) Nestea is quite clearly not in the dominating position that he held for the majority of 2011. 2) All of your "oh look at this sucker" examples are SlayerS players... Nice little bias 2.1) Boxer is old. He talks about it in an MLG video (3 mins or so)-he can no longer compete as well as his protege's, but he's trying his best because he knows his fans still love him. 2.2) I hate to rag on Alicia, but he was really pretty much a 1-shot cannon. Showed some insanely brilliant play and then dropped off the map~arguably we've seen better results from the SlayerS P's in the ESV weekly 2.3) You can't say "progamers sometimes lose" without pretty much excusing your entire counter argument 3) Nestea's lack of recent results has only been exacerbated by the rise of Leenock, and his MLG run didn't quite match up to fans expectations (not saying he's terrible, just saying that it was a disappointment.)
Whew MVP vs SC! Sc playing like a boss, excellent play from him so far! :D

It's not fanboyism when he's talking about someone who is almost universally considered the best player in the world. He's not saying random shit, he's talking about what a big deal it is that MVP is being dropped in this clan war, and it is a big deal, and coL.MVP is going to have to pull out something impressive to deal with him.

Not IM's fault that Sase lost in his match though. And complexity should just change their names to MVP. They cannot compete at all without the korean team.

ForGG's got the momentum and hype going right now.
Unfortunately, Mvp has both the experience and accolades to back up his worthiness of the throne. Only until we see a series between these two as well as how consistent ForGG can maintain his game will we have any notion of how well he fares in comparison.

I mean this might as well have been MvP vs IM ... Except for sase.
They end up being best players of one team vs. best players of the other. If these best players happen to be korean, so be it. If the foreigners really want to be a competitive choice for their team they would have to earn it by being on the level of koreans.

well the best players on the both teams are all koreans by a few miles. if the their ace is a korean, itd be stupid of them not to send out that korean.

painuser said last night on inside the game that Quantic and IM had decided to play the tournament out as one team.

How do you know these were played a month ago? I know the Dignitas vs Slayers match was played during Providence, but I heard that Slayers vs Mouz is actaully being played a few hours before it's being casted.

These games are/were about 2 weeks old, before Naniwa's transfer to QIM last week.

Does anyone know name of the IPL-song that has been played recently in between the games?
It's so catchy...

+ Show Spoiler +MVP is insane man. I believe since MLG Anaheim (which he won), he's come top 4 in every single tournament he has entered. Crushing nerds in supposedly his weakest matchup.

IM: the only team with two aces
