9 votes is still too early to draw any definite conclusions. Furthermore, I think most people have misread the poll as who they want to win rather who they think will win. Still, Vile has gained a lot of fans and supporters this tournament.
I think as long as Polt isn't allowed to go crazy, Vile has a chance. Still think TSL wins it, but I'm pulling hard for Vile. I'd really like to see PsY come out at least once, but I doubt that will happen any time soon.
Quick question: Inori's been playing for Reign in TAC (hell, he played AGAINST TSL in the first round). Reign's been eliminated (in multiple ways), but is he even eligible to come out for TSL?

Don't know if TSL is going to put out a B-teamer first and second and third... but I can't see Vile winning this overall x.x
Hoping for some exciting games, though I wouldn't be surprised to see a 5-0 or 5-1 from TSL.
Yeah some people said that vs dignitas and fxo... Weird vile pulled insane games in both clan war... Maybe some day people like you will realize how bad is vile under rated... Not saying that vile will win or not but that just make me laugh to see people like you say vile gonna lose 5-0 every clan war they do...
And stop thinking illusion is THE player of vile.... They have à fully strong line up...
The problem is, Vile won't necessarily have had time to prepare for Inori, because TSL have just signed him. It might catch them off guard if TSL plays Inori at the right time. Other than that, Vile have an outside chance at this.

Edit: yeah i agree with pos above...
I'm a agreeing and disagreeing with you at the same time. I don't see vile taking this either, however I can definitely see them taking the series to a 3-5. If any of the outcome of the team games of vile told me something, then it is that they don't go down without putting a good fight.

5-2 against StarTale, whatever.
I think another 15 years old no-name TSL zerg will destroy Vile and not a single polt will given.

I don't know about that. Vile gave FXO a surprising amount of trouble, and it just might give TSL some trouble as well.

i will be surprised if they win more than 3 map.
I'm a Vile fan and I think Vile is the definite underdogs here, but I think Vile will at least take 2 games, and really hoping that they could pull out the upset and win.
And no i do not think inori should be able to play because he started the tournament with Reign and is now on TSL i hope there are rules against this because it wouldnt be right. Most tournaments like this if a team disbands or players leave they finish the tournament that they started and by those rules inori is done.
If TSL wins this, theres going to be a crapton of ZvZs with Liquid facing the winners, so I hope that Vile plays well and wins it. Expect something like a 5-4, 5-3 for TSL though.

Anyway, this series begins in just two hours! =D
Well, then Vile's chances just took a huge blow. TSL weakness in comparison to other teams was its lack of depth and racial balance, and with Inori able to play should really help TSL's game here.
Well, I don't know the time delay on these games, but since Inori joined TSL ~2 days ago, this might have been played before he joined the team. Guess we'll see if he comes out or not!

Both Mouz and Empire have a shot against Hoseo and TL is more than a match for TSL if TSL beat Vile.

mouz vs empire NOOooooooooooooooooooo i didn't see that actually i haven't looked at the loosers bracket at all
but i would predict NSHS over both of them. NSHS is just korean...
and actually TL vs TSL would be cool, glad TL is getting far in this i guess?

Well, Empire did beat col-MVP and lose to Prime barely 4-5. Mouz has also beaten Slayers, col-MVP, and QIM in the last TAC. I think it might actually be quite even.

It must be awkward for Morrow if they face off against NSHS.

Mouz has looked a little weak in team leagues this year though, while Empire has impressed for the most part. I'd give it to Empire but Mouz definitely have a shot. I'd say Empire has a better chance of winning vs NSH though, as they seem to be weak vT and Empire have a Kas, beastyqt and Happy.

empire and mouz are very strong teams imo .
in the empire vs col-mvp, there was no korean players. it was all col - not MVP. That match vs prime was so close !!! but i still predicted right ALL the korean teams have advantage going into game 9 IMO.
That was the LAST TAC. this is the 2nd one. Its different, slayers isn't even here, and qim ???

So once upon a time, stream access to watch BW games live was not a guaranteed thing for most people, and often there would only be a couple people who could watch, so they would LR and post a lot. Even though streams have become more and more consistent and easy to access over the years, there's still a lot of that original mentality(which, honestly, I like).
SC2 is the opposite, pretty much every event has extremely easy to access streaming, so LRing seems a bit frowned upon.

It can be done quite well (see any GSL thread), but it's more official (generally 1 LRer per thread). They quote their own posts and have timestamps and formatting, so it's a great resource for "skimming" the games without watching the VODs after the fact (that's why they're generally linked in OPs).

LRing in BW LR threads has always been more chaotic; usually there's a handful of people who LR a lot, but sometimes multiple people will be LRing the same game and no one links it in the OP and there's no self-quoting or any of that. Until recently, BW LR threads(unless it was like the OSL finals or a KTF/SKT match or something) tended to be 50 pages on the outside, so no one really cares.
Also, interestingly, I feel like there's more discussion about what's going on in the game during the game in BW LR threads than in SC2 LR threads. Personally I like the BW LR threads better, but to each their own.

I think another 15 years old no-name TSL zerg will destroy Vile and not a single polt will given.

Because you have complete map dominance, force spores, and you can full scout? You can stop some roach pushes with phoenixes, but Yong overproduced Phoenixes that game. Should have added in Immortals or Collosi faster.

I'm just frustrated that every game I see a Protoss go Stargate FFE they get totally clobbered, especially against koreans. It just doesn't work, period if the player knows how to micro at all. You might kill 8-10 workers but you're left with a huge supply differential for the investment.

What I find bizarre is the fact that Stragate into Phoenixes is supposed to push Zerg away from Mutalisks (see Genius vs Nestea), which means roaches (maybe hydras, maybe) in the midgame, yet Protosses never prepare for the eventual roach push.

Another night of quality viewing! Thanks IPL, think about charging us a subsrcription fee of $4.99 per month($9.99 is the most I would pay) if you keep putting out the content like this.

Yeah, it was quite surprising to me how underwhelming he has been, considering how quickly he qualified for Code A (4 months of SC2 or something insane like that), especially considering when players like Puma still can't qualify.

Puma's play can be studied in his replays though, so it's not inconceivable that aspiring Code A players can snipe him as long as they do their homework.
Kinda surprised how HyuN got to Code A with the play he's been showing so far. So shakey and wasteful, though unpredictable.

Vile just impresses me more and more every single time I see them play. I look forward to watching their future results, even if they do not win today.
Damn, sad to see Vile fall, but they had an amazing run through it all, winning the first qualifer and putting up a good fight against 2 Korean teams and beating Dignitas.
Congrats TSL, but the next match with Liquid is going to have too many ZvZs for my liking.

It's an autoloss if you rush it against a competent Zerg, I agree. DTs are no longer a rush strat, in my opinion.
I like seeing DTs (vs HTs) if you scout Roaches instead of Mutas, because you use DTs to deny expansions and use Zealot Archon instead. But rushing for DTs is just lame.
I just noticed that TSL deployed 4 zergs out of 4... They should look at Slayers in GSTL last year and learn that relying on 1 race is recipe for disaster.
Thank you for all our fans Was a pleasure playing these games with some of the most amazing team! Though were done in IPL TAC this season we will continue to play! Root for us as we play EGMCSL

TSL has Polt and Inori... They're both pretty freaking good vs Protoss.
Polt has been shaky as fuck against toss recently and I believe these were played before TSL picked up Inori...

shaky against toss?
not really.
vP has always been Polt's best matchup (mainly bec he is great, possibly one of the best, at bio and vP is basically always bio), but when you consider his over-all play, there is a feeling that he is less than invulnerable even in his favored matchup.
I wouldn't call any of those Protosses favored or even vs Polt though. When HerO loses it always seems to be vs Terran, and Inca... no one can figure out if Inca is good or bad lol. Even Creator, who lost to NaDa yesterday, isn't exactly near Polt's level in that matchup.
Anyway in the hypothetical universe that it would have happened Polt > State, but I would say he'd have a shot at least.

gg Vile! I'm sure the entire SC2 community is impressed by your efforts in IPLTAC2. Definitely the team to break out in this tournament.

Was that during the GSTL? I remember him looking really drowzy and out of it in the booth that day.
I'm not saying Polt is bad or mediocre or even good. His vP is awesome, but because his overall results have been disappointing (I'd say he is in a slump overall), even his invulnerability in vP looks suspect.
v State if he weren't slumping, 100% win v State now that he is not doing so great, 80% win
It didn't happen anyway so I dunno why we are arguing XD

He did the opposite, he took time off from university to focus more on SC2
