Nice to see that he went dt's reactively, this is a build similar to what he uses pretty often.

Oz is gonna win. pretty funny game

wow that was some clutch decision making, well played Oz!

Is hero watching? :D
well played by Oz <3

The PvP wizard of Oz. I wanna see him vs Elfi!
|
He had exactly enough for 2 robo and one obs, that's crazy. :p
|
That was an insane game. Highly recommended for shenanigans.
|
Close game. Good decision making by Oz, but that second robo was really close to being scouted beforehand.

I can't watch the stream so, What did happening in oz vs San ?

He also surrounded his robo with stalkers and did his best to convince San that that was his only detection. Then after San killed the powering pylon, he built his observer out of his other robo and San didn't find the second robo until the observer came out.

Did you see that? Jjakji put his hellion over the creep tumors and shot it so the splash would kill the tumors. So smart

I would love to see a raven with the banshee as the PDD blocks all zerg anti-air (excluding infested terran and fungal)
EDIT: or he could just kill everything with the banshees

Cringing at Jjakji's supply block =/

Would be awsome but you're pretty starved for gas early when doing this, and you have to wait like 1 full minute for the energy of a PDD.

Nice build from Jjakji. <3

Wow nicely done Jjakji, completely blind-sided Leenock

On March 07 2012 10:54 Type|NarutO wrote: If GuMiHo does lose I think it will look very dark for FXO I agree. Gumi is the best chance for FXO to make a strong run against NSHS. Hoseo has been typically weak vs Terran in the team leagues: all killed by Bomber, Marineking, and Gumiho. Gumiho is going to need to get several kills to get FXO back in this
|
I actually thing sending Gumiho before Leenock would have been better. Jjakji weakness is TvT, not TvLeenock. :<

2port banshee, best banshee

I like the part of the game where he built banshees and won.

People underestimate FXO. It's not just about these code S players. They have like 18 players on their roster. Anyone can kill anyone on a good day.

It's almost like watching Slayers vs toss I wouldn't say that. Sage's, San's, Seal's, Sting's vTs are not quite bad; they are just mostly Code B/A level players, and there is not much to be done about it.

Hey, guess which unit Gumiho will build now.
8D
|
With the quality of players that are coming out this could easily be a match in the GSTL and it's fucking criminal that it doesn't have more viewers.
|
In ladder this would so look like hack, haha.
|
1300 mineral banked while being below 100 supply by Gumiho.
|
What an ugly engagement, another case of stalkers tanking for zealots
|
How does GuMiHo float nearly 2000 minerals? :x
|
Gumiho has nearly 2k in the bank...at the thirteen minute mark. wtf? edit: ninja'd xD
|
United States97247 Posts
Gumiho needs more rax or something. so many minerals O_o
|
Gumiho should just drop another few barracks or a CC or something, what's the point of floating so many minerals?
|
I don't understand why Gumiho didn't made any viking tho. The way heavy sky terran work, you kill the obs with viking, PDD with the raven, and let the banshee kill everything.
|
2 Armory now ? What the hell is Gumiho doing ? Going Bio and mech at the same time ? Xx
|
|
LOL such good casting. Cats+doa work so well together.
|
Why is GuMiHo upgrading vehicle weapons? I think it might be a missclick because he's on 2 tanks, not building anymore... guess he wanted air attacks.
|
20 min Concussive shell timing :D

On March 07 2012 11:28 ampson wrote: LOL such good casting. Cats+doa work so well together.
Yeah, it's nice seeing doa cast with someone who actually gets his jokes. Every time he'd do a GSL cast and make a joke and Moletrap would just dead-eye stare at him would be so uncomfortable.
|
So many marines... Sage is going to roflstomp when they engage, unless something goes horribly wrong.
EDIT: lol, except looks like there never will be a head-to-head engage

Don't say that too early. If they have to fight army vs army, sage will probably roflstomp the battle.
edit : yeah, knew Gumigo would lose that. He never bother getting a 4th.

Ok Gumiho made around 10 more Vikings than necessary, there was only 2 or 3 Colossus so they were a colossal waste.

Yeah it's pretty bad for TvP. I think the best way to play it is funky micro build that don't involve going bio at the end. Sky Terran could work on it i guess.

I made the comment before I saw how much resources were banked up. Gumiho did more clever tricks though Sage was just too resilient

Well, Oz Leenock Gumiho Lucky is pretty good. They have better individual GSL results than NSHOSO players beside Jjakji.
|
Cannot believe FXO didn't save Oz specifically for Sage. Oz is so good at PvP and Sage is so bad at it, I figured everyone would know this by now and teams would have a PvP counter setup for Sage. Startale made the same mistake by throwing Ts and Zs at Sage when they could easily have used Squirtle or Parting. So silly.

Actually it is : FXO got 4 code S player, wheras Nhoseo got 1. I think it's enough to say their line-up is deeper :D

Yes but you don't need to send out your PvP sniper for San, use someone else. The key is "pretty solid", whereas there is a 50+% chance that Sage will go on an absolute tear against you if you don't throw a PvP at him right away. Whatever you do you gotta save a PvP for Sage or else you deserve to lose.

Historically, Sage's PvP has been mostly underestimated because of his tendency to go for what is essentially eco-cheese in the current metagame. When he plays standard he's not that bad, e.g. his match against Oz (a very good PvPer) in Code A was quite close. Granted, it's still his worse matchup and he's not good at it, but people keep marching on how "terrible" it are a bit too harsh and hear-saying in my opinion.
