I know people are already bickering about audiences, but this was on Korean TV right? Does anyone have any data on viewing figures? Is Kespa happy with the figures? Are they concerned? Have Korean BW fans made the switch with the Kespa teams into SC2 or not?

Obviously, most BW fans won't switch. OGN must find new viewers.

Only OGN knows if this season of OSL was a success, everyone else is just speculating atm.

No matter how much you push it.

he mightve meant 2010 gsl s3, which was MC vs FNATIC.rain(not this rain). that was fairly one sided

Sure, the current situation makes it look like they won't. Or rather that only a majority of BW fans is not following. But that "obviously" still makes me cringe because it is not really a foregone conclusion even at this point.
People might not know much about SC2 there, but there is still some familiarity to it when you know BW. Maybe the former fans not watching SC2 OSL are going to LoL, maybe they just stopped watching any eSports, maybe they're happy with the BW amateur leagues or maybe they'll come around eventually after accepting the situation. If anyone actually knows and isn't just talking to support their personal bias, it would be interesting.

Am I missing something here or do the vods need a subscription? Cause from what i heard that a lot of bragging was about OSL having free vods.

If anyone actually knows and isn't just talking to support their personal bias, it would be interesting. Some know and they don't like the game as much. Others don't know that the new game is out. But for majority of the BW fans who aren't watching SC2, its not because someone 'killed' the BW scene with the new game called SC2. It's because they don't like watching SC2. It's simple as that. Like I said, the game isn't that popular in Korea right now; its even behind BW in pc cafe ratings. In addition, the people that I have talked to (outside of eSports) doesn't even know that SC2 came out (or only have heard of it but never played it) nor knew that BW tournaments still existed to date (this was back during TVing Starleague days). You can't force a game down someone's throat; the person has to try and like the game before they get into the scene (good job Blizzard).
