Five out of the last six have been enjoyable to amazing.
The same people who still think Broodwar took more skill than SC2 and are still living in the open season days.
In PvP for a game like Starcraft, it's always who the better player is.
I don't really get the first part. BW did take more skill than SC2, if just for the sheer mechanical demand it required of the player. It's not a myth or an opinion. It's a fact.
Maybe BW needed more mechanical skill, but SC2 has other skills to test too. Things like how many infestors a player can make, good skill to develop in SC2 that wasn't in BW

aka different skillsets
Sc2 requiring less mechanical skill than BW just means that the theoretical skill ceiling will be that much higher. If things are so easy, you should be able to do more right? (provided balance)
So as more units come in, the game gets more balanced, and builds become more standard - maps will get bigger, and the skill ceiling will increase. SC2 games of the future will need 3 casters, one to manage the picture-in-picture to keep track of all the multitasking, mark my words.

I think you don't understand what skill ceiling means. It is level of skill which cannot be improved anymore. For example colossus can be microed equally well by 2345th best player in the world and best player in the world. With reaver there was difference between best and second best player in the world.

I just don't know what to say.. Starcraft 2 bronzie arguing with broodwar players and making bold visionary statements.
Just kidding, of course your arguments are as valid as grandmaster player. Because bronze player can very well understand everything theoretically and be strategic mastermind and visionary. Who just didn't yet figured out that he should make workers and spend money.

How many Zergs would you say are better at PvT than life? Zero? Absolutely! And he has only been "good" for around 3 months, and every other single top Zerg pro in the world says they can't even come close to comparing to Life's style of play. If that isn't admission that no one is even close to the skill ceiling at all yet, I don't know what is.
We aren't close to the skill gap of SC2 at all, and until anyone is even close to playing at a "godlike" level SC2 will never be easier than Broodwar because it's a PLAYER VS PLAYER game, the better player will win regardless of the skillsets required for each game.
Hell, we haven't even yet to even see a single game where progamers microed 2 Banshees at what I would call a godlike level. I'm sure once we do there will be a lot of Zergs crying.

I don't know, I've never seen Life play Protoss before.

Why are you quoting me, when you are obviously replying to someone else?
Are there players who are currently best at something? Of course. Do they have any special skill which other top players are unable to figure out in weeks or months, beat and copy? No.
