I'd be surprised to see results completely different than this. You really believe that? Snute in first place, parting in second? Why not? GSL runner up vs a foreigner Saying that PartinG vs Snute is "GSL runner up vs a foreigner" is like saying PartinG vs INnoVation is "GSL runner up vs patchterran who wins only because of hellbats". That's a gross oversimplification. I agree with Templar's prpredictions. Why, though? What makes people rate Snute over PartinG? Jetlag is really the only thing I'd say is an okay explanation. Snute vs herO. Snute vs sOs. Snute is the best SH player in the world (yes even over FCK), and is able to use this reputation to surprise his opponents by doing aggro shit. PartinG is obviously very good, but I don't think he is used to playing against good SH play since no one bar maybe Curious and in-form SoulKey have really good SH ZvP. Okay, Snute looks less impressive today than he did at that time, but I think that if the game enters the SH phase, then Snute wins. Your reasoning is IEM Toronto from half a year ago? Really? Snute lost to ShoWTime twice this month, and as much as I like that guy, PartinG is leagues above ShoWTime. And obviously getting to the SH phase against an aggressive player like PartinG is incredibly difficult to begin with. Sure, PartinG will be jetlagged and probably not on point today (and might try weird builds to compensate) but he's still a player who brought Life to the brink of defeat in a GSL final. He made DRG and soO look like amateurs just a day ago in the SSL qualifiers. My reasoning is that PartinG will get surprised as herO did when he played Snute at Toronto. Parting is going to 2 base all-in twice and if it fails once, he will do a +2 blink timing

I hope Snute loses to Targa. And Bunny over Hydra!!!

I'm more interested in seeing how Snute would play vs PartinG if it were to happen. Does he go the SH route? Or has he found a SH-less style he feels comfortable with seeing as the SH change is right around the corner? Then again, roach/hydra isn't great against +2 blink stalkers and forcefields, which PartinG just loves to use <.<

I'm a Lurker :D GO GO all the people I am cheering for! Too many of you to type out.

I'd be surprised to see results completely different than this. I just realised your other picks don't go well with that statement, seeing as the first is already discussed:
Rogue is in better form than both Soulkey and MC, him advancing should never surprise you. Group C could have anyone advancing (unless Rain still doesn't have his shit together, in which case he goes out last <.<) JaeDong not advancing should not surprise you if it comes to that <.<

Shit, looks like I'm gonna be running a bit late today. If somebody can post the polls (I put them in the OP I think) until I get back that be appreciated.

Yeah they are there, somebody already voted 1 star for Snute vs Targa...

I am hype for JD but not sure if he's going to do well, I have his EU account on my friends list and he's 1/3 against masters on EU the games haven't been very long so I'm hoping it's just been cheese or failed cheese and it's just warmup rather than him playing seriously. Anyway I cheer for JD hoping for a perfect run :D
