Unfortunately, Solar was informed yesterday of a Samsung sponsored training session (his words) and is no longer in the tournament. Working hard to find a replacement, I will update the OP, etc once I have that information. Thanks and apologies to all of the Solar fans out there.
I'm getting the sense that Disruptors need another once over. Probably shouldn't 1-shot Marauders. The radius could maybe use a very slight nerf too. But wow, was that game ever amazing!

Killing some workers but still being behind in them = OUTPLAYED.
I was taking about much later in the game when byun trapped neeb's army using the rocks and killed all of the probes at neeb's 4th and put them on even economy.

Because the advantage you get by forcing them to move into you (when you have a shit ton of Disruptors) is worth the price, I don't think that is what cost him the game.
I have to say, I've finally watched enough of ByuN's games to where as soon as ByuN sniped both of Neeb's robos, I was like "yep ByuN's going to win." There's a switch that he just flicks on sometimes where he goes into non-stop godmode until his opponent taps out.

Imo he just needed to continue while harrassing. On a map like orbital you'll get into a basetrade every game against someone mike byun

Tempests aren't just for the liberators, when you have an army with enough disruptors to where you can be sending out near-constant disruptor balls, adding in Tempests allows you to pick away at the Terran army (a few marines here, a marauder there) and get free damage on the edge of the bio ball while the disruptor volleys keep them at bay. And it also makes the terran army never able to sit still (especially combined with revelation), otherwise tempests can just poke in & out and snipe down idling medivacs.

I know that but someone playing a more bio centric style will just try to outplay you with his mobility. And that's the whole game plan of byun the moment he's behind anyway

I doubt it with Nerchio and ByuN in this tournament. Nerchio has an insane record vs Mana. ByuN has been at the top or near to top of the korean ladder since the beta. Who know though? A few good disruptor shots, some ping and anything can happen.
Polish domination. When will it end?! Seriously the rest of the world needs to close the gap here. This tournament the only players so far to take games off of Polish players were other Polish players. Imba.

In PvT
Of course.
I can kind of understand since I believe there is a timing window in TvP where tanks are actually OKAY and can pressure. Then they become utter shit. But how do terran deal with adept mid/late game since they take forever to kill? Since time is always of the essence when Disruptor is present.

First game the gold base was in a good position for allowing reaper to pop in the main and into the gold base. The 2nd game, he thought he could hold off with speed lings but then he realized he needed roaches so he invested 100 gas and delayed his roaches for too long i think
Edit: Whelp! Looks like Nerchio making this set more interesting
Byun makes Nerchio look like a platinum leaguer. I don't think he had the slighest chance of victory in any of those games. Wonder how much it factors into it that it's 6am in europe.

Steady Targeting After carefully aiming for 1.43 seconds while not taking damage, the Ghost fires a sniper round dealing 170 damage. Ignores armor. Can only target biological units.

I'm sure there's definitely an influence there. Nerchio has beaten Byun the last 2 times they played in bo5s but I believe Byun probably had some time zone disadvantages mixed in with his games too.

I'm a Terran player I did not know this.
Guess I don't use ghosts enough.
They are one of the way to deal with ultralisk, the other is Liberator. I think most will agree that ghost are better though since I always see people go them. You literally mass ghost. If the game had went for 5 more min, Byun entire army would of probably been ghost.
Thanks to everyone who tuned in and especially to the EU players for staying up so late. We have plans for EU events at a respectable hour in the near future. We all had an amazing time and look forward to the next one!
Edit: Replay pack is delayed due to the recent patch of the SC2 client, we will get that uploaded as soon as possible.
