Hmm.. can we correct one issue about polish flag please...
White colour represents purity and innocence. Red colour symbolize blood and sacrifice, a symbol reinforced during Poland’s many struggles for freedom over the centuries. Defenitely NOT the socialism!

A "strategy" It was a really fun game to be fair, lots of weirdness. The build looks bad and Zhugeliang's response was really cool, but I still wanna try that proxy on ladder and the probe trick is worth remembering :D
Playing a standard macro game against someone with better macro is a bad idea......who knew. Not sure why they keep emphasizing it like it's something exclusive to Serral

No that was definitely a thing before the 3rd nerf to the strategy.

Thank you
Obviously not Socialism as the flag colors have 1000 years of history behind them. Not going into details white symbolizes goodness and purity of intentions of the polish nation while red represents courage, devotion and sacrifice.
So....how do you ever engage ghost raven? I suppose trying to nydus and pull them out of position? Im just watching Bly throw a like 10k 10k bank into energy and it hurts my brain a bit

You don't, you have to wait for them to push out, try to trade somewhat efficiently, and remax.
Wtf is Bly doing? He just needed to hold the two top right bases and he would win the game. Instead he's trying to pick off ravens one by one on the bottom left while guarding the 500 minerals left on it.
I dont play enough anymore to really tell, but it looks like to me this new anti armor seeker missile does too much damage. I like the taking away armor utility but he keeps blowing up like 8 broods....and taking away their armor
(some) zergs still have no idea how to play in this ultra late game standoff situation with terrans i don't get it they've seen various army compositions and static defense setups from terrans in ultra late game so many times and still they just brainfart
That game reminded me of a game I saw on soO's stream a while ago. soO lost everything, was at like 19 supply (mostly drones) he had burrowed around the map. And his Terran opponent just refused to leave his own side of the map.

What do you mean?
I mean that those guys are the elite of the game, and suddenly it feels like you are watching bronze players being lost af.
I don't know what Bly was thinking that game, he tried so hard to compete with Kelazhur on cost efficiency but then just let him grab the last two mining bases for free.

The amount of stuff you have to micro and deal with in the first ten minutes of the game is difficult. This only grows larger as the game goes longer.
Calling them bronze when they're in late game dealing with the accumulated details of an hour of playing is just silly. They played that fine and bashing them for not having absolutely optimal hour+ gameplay is obnoxious.

forgetting that the terran trades energy (costs nothing but the time to regenerate the energy) for your units (costs money) in the ultra late game standoff tvz, same as you do, but terran units are better at doing that, so the longer you allow that situation to continue the better position the terran is in, shouldn't be happening no matter how long the game is. if bly had gotten aggressive sooner he would have had a better chance

I didn't mean to bash anyone. I just feel like bly missed so much opportunity, zergs have the tools to destroy the terran bases with the crazy dps and mobility that offer nydus + lings.

The standoff he handled quite well imo, using the vipers and infestors to get decent enough trades. He just needed to to split of more defense for the top right 2 bases and make some more static D to keep the terran cornered in his tiny part of the map.

Would be more entertaining if he had more than one build, though I guess this way it's funnier when players still lose to him.
TurkeyDano :D The legend. What is Poland doing though? Elazer and Soul went full retard, lost at the build order. But Mana actually played it safe and scouted early. Then decided to try to throw :D This is hilarious
Btw Elazer vs Erik was insane. Elazer failed an All in, then lost all of his army because of unscouted speedlings and he still won with flying colours. Not even breaking a sweat. Is this Erik an amateur, or how come it was that one sided? I feel like a masters player would have easily won there

His macro seemed sub par. Or he was too scared to drone at all.
I really really don't like the revive mechanic. It makes some of the countires WAY stronger and when there are 3-4 people per country confuses me. If there arent 4 players that can play for your country then imo you deserve it to be tougher. I am american but it is obvious playing against the US is going to be "how do we beat neeb twice". I thought the whole point of nation wars was to see which countries are the best, both in best players and depth. Mexico, Italy, Finland and the USA all gain a huge advantage at being able to revive their super-ace.

I disagree. This format gives us interesting games with players and strats we don't normally see + we get a lot of good and quality games as well. In this regard, entertainment wise, its very well balanced and I love it. It would have been cruel to decide a fate of the Ace player in a single best of 1. Quality would suffer...

We could still see strats from those players who are playing against someone better than them, in fact more of that because more of them would have to play. I guess it depends on the end goal, you are right in that it probably makes it more balanced, but personally i prefer rewarding better teams to trying and make all the teams equal. I mean, if you look, Reynor got 8/8 wins, Special got 7/8, Serral 7/8. Now some of them would have still won even without the revive, my point is how MUCH better they get with the revive. Korea gets a BIT better if they can play inno twice instead of their 4 players. Italy and Serral get pretty much twice as good. I just don't like a rule that is waaaaaaaaay more beneficial to some teams than it is to others for the sake of entertainment.

Results would be a lot more predictable with a proleague format though, and the level of play would be lower. So I doubt it would be as interesting for viewers.
Also the curse of having the group named after you is real. USA is doomed.
The TurkeyDamage saga continues! I might be biased but my favorite foreign fans are Brazilian. Here's hoping they can go even further in future matches.
