I won't watch it, I just check the results. I'm not gonna give Blizzard free money from adds. Don't tell me they can't find better time slot than this shit. Considering they bet that much on the foreign hope it's actually pathetic, everyone is "it's us against them, it's the serral, the only hope" and at the same time "fuck Europe, you can watch it later". Nope.

i don't wanna compare the lvls, but to me both are pretty annoying ^^
i can totally understand the boycott, i at least don't watch the mainstream either, but i am still hoping for decent games, since yesterday 3/4 series have been pretty entertaining

No amount of overhyping will make me not want Serral to win. He had an legit insane year and with how great he is playing even against the koreans, he deserves it. Finally a foreigner that doesn't go full foreigner every time.

I don't understand this hatred of the time slots. It's a zero sum game--whatever time they choose someone in the world is going to get screwed. Would you rather have the players get up at 6AM and play?
The GSL starts at about 3AM my time every time because it's in Korea. I don't get upset and melt down about that...now finally a tournament starts at a really nice time (5PM for me) and I'll happily watch it.

GSL alternates between european friendly and us friendly every week.
and the only alternative to starting 5PM is 6AM to you?
i'm pretty sure there is some space inbetween that fits both continents

Blah. I hope Rogue brings his S-game but I can't imagine him suddenly becoming in-form.
What angers me about the Serral v. Dark match is not the fact that Dark lost or that Serral outplayed Dark. It's the lurker Adaptive Talons upgrade. That upgrade does not belong in the game and never has. It's akin to Tankivac in terms of mobility of high-powered offensive and defensive unit.
I was ok with Serral doing really jerky stuff with burrowed roaches. But seeing lurkers used like tankivacs? It messes up the game tactically.

This is a geographically ignorant argument. The Pacific ocean spans about 5 mostly uninhabited time zones.

So I was thinking to myself yesterday that I'd watch the vods so far on one screen and watch the live stream muted on another screen, so as to avoid spoilers but not miss the game.
Guess what? The moment I turned the live stream on, they were showing the completed bracket so far in visual...

Serral won't drop a game tonight. This blizzcon is his.

starting of course, the groupstage was earlier and not even a week ago for crying out loud
it's not like one ne creative to get to this....
as an (obviously impossible) alternative they just could take away 50 % of the couch-talk and stop showing 10 min signature vids at the start of every match
edit: as to my point about the GSL: maybe one should read the quoted posts before jumping to conclusions
